1461  Other / Meta / Re: Search function stuck in pre 2020? on: August 05, 2023, 10:29:43 PM
All of my searches getting results from pre 2015, Am I the only one?
Is the search functionworking?
I am not using default search in forum for years.
Much better option for me to find anything in forum is by using Ninjastic.space website because I can narrow the search, find address much easier, connection with accounts, etc.
Using g00gle directly is also possible but Ninjastic has become my number one forum tool thanks to TryNinja for creating it Cool
Ti zamjeniš svoj bitcoin u eure i onda koristiš fiat.

Cheesy
1463  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PST.NET IS A SCAM!! HOW I LOST $27,000 IN BTC. THREAD BELOW on: August 03, 2023, 10:45:36 PM
I think PST.NET deserves to receive negative feedback and red flag against them for doing this, unless they return coins they received from user.

We must note, that none of you money was taken, they were frozen at your account until the investigation is complete.
And I guess that could last for months, maybe even years right?

We have already explained why we are obliged to check all the incoming transactions and how it is done
If I understand correctly this was his outgoing transaction because he was trying to withdraw money, and you could simply reject his incoming coins if you think they are problematic for some reason, and return them to him.

Moreover, any information from your side about how your retirement bonus became 100% high risk crypto will be most welcomed and would help much the investigation process.
What kind of stupid statement is this?
I could also ask you why you even started ''shady'' risky business dealing with cryptocurrencies and cards, when you could simply be safe selling popcorns and hamburgers in the street?

1464  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: August 03, 2023, 09:39:51 PM
I wouldn't trust those to enter server passwords though.
2FA authentication usually fixes this if done correctly (without SMS), but yeah this was only meant for emergency situations and not for super important stuff.
You shouldn't even connect to public wifi networks because someone could record everything that is searched and typed, but on vacations rules change sometimes.

1465  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Website crypto-hardware.com launched, suggestions wanted! on: August 03, 2023, 09:02:36 PM
Is your site currently operational?
It's working fine for me.

I just launched my new website www.crypto-hardware.com. It is a website about hardware wallets and seed backup accessories, focused on education with a knowledge base. It works with affiliate links.
I am really interested in your first reactions to the website. The look and feel, the content, etc.. Anything to get me going and start an amazing portal for years to come. The biggest focus will be new crypto enthusiasts.
Nice looking website but I think you are missing a bunch of hardware wallets there (Passport, OneKey, Satoship, Cypherock X1, etc) so you need to research more and add them all.
Maybe you can also add dimension for all devices, and some kind of comparison for two or more different wallets.
Good starting point can be my list of Open Source hardware wallets, but there are other closed source devices out there that I don't recommend:

1466  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone 3 HW coming soon! on: August 03, 2023, 08:47:09 PM
We had the chance to receive a prototype of the new Keystone 3 Pro.
Nice gesture from Keystone team.
Do you know if there will be any other difference between Keystone 3 Pro and regular version, except the lack of biometric fingerprint scanner and third secure element?
I know older version difference was tampering detection and I was wondering if that was the same in new version.
Biometrics are not my thing, especially for hardware wallets and saving $30 is also nice.

Looks like Keystone 3  will miss EU market as European Parliament mandates  removable batteries in smartphone and all consumer electronics.
Maybe they will introduce additional model with removable battery soon, but even now you are purchasing all smartphones with non-removable batteries in EU.
1467  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum for iOS on: August 03, 2023, 08:29:41 PM
Maybe I can reach Electrum developers here.
I doubt they are going to reply anything in bitcointalk, and I don't think they are hiring new developers, but easiest place to get noticed by them is probably electrum github page.
Electrum mobile wallet for Android was never good enough for me, so I think you would need to make iOS app from scratch if you want other people to use it.
Meanwhile you can check out open source Unstoppable wallet for iOS.

1468  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Multiple Users Self-Moderating A Thread. on: August 02, 2023, 11:33:53 PM
...
How about an option to add more user(s) of your choice to co-moderate a your self-moderated thread alongside yourself (the op)?
That means that I can choose whoever I want, even randomly, and someone else could do the same, that opens big can of worms that nobody can control.

If you wanted to propose something useful than explain it better, don't expect from other members to speculate and fill blank spaces in few of your dream sentences.

I am against this suggestion. Full stop.
1469  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ✅PSTNET – Trusted Virtual Crypto Cards⭐️Reloadable payment cardsⓂ️ Review copies on: August 02, 2023, 11:23:00 PM
I fell victim to a scam by PST.NET. Regrettably, I made the mistake of sending $27,500 to my account on their website to purchase a virtual card for my business. However, after completing their KYC verification process, they falsely claimed that my wallet address was flagged, which I know is untrue.
Sending $27,500 on virtual card...  Roll Eyes
I don't think you can even spend money from any virtual cards on all websites and you probably can't withdraw cash from them either.
I always suspected about pst.net cards, but you need to post some proof with transactions and screenshots for your claims or you won't be taken seriously.
You should also read their terms carefully, I am sure they have text with small letters explaining how they can confiscate your coins.

They provided various excuses and used AMLBOT.COM, a company of their own, to produce a fake AML report to justify their actions. As a result, they deactivated my account and denied me access to my funds, which is an apparent act of deception.
I don't trust anything coming from amlbot.com with their aml reports, but I am sure this is not their company, I mean owners are not the same.
1470  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Atomic DEX discussion on: August 02, 2023, 11:11:58 PM
I am also surprised it does not feature on the kycnot.me homepage.
Good point.
Anyone can post submission to kycnot.me website, including Komodo wallet developers, but I am not sure if they are interested in doing this, and if this exactly fits the exchange or wallet category.
Note that latest update from  kycnot website is that app devs are currently rewriting it for a better user experience and only necessary maintenance work will be performed, but here is the generator link:

1471  Other / Archival / Re: 🌀 [banned mixer] - CoinJoin Mixer | Your Anonymity Is Our Priority! on: August 02, 2023, 10:54:33 PM
Finally, together with one of the forum users, we have almost completed work on the creation of UniJoin custom cards.
Can you say more about this cards and raffle you mentioned?
Card design looks cool but I am little concerned about private keys with products like this, and how/when are they generated.
Even with good intentions someone could leak the keys or hackers could steal them, so I think best thing is that only end-user generates and owns the keys.
Then there is a question of delivery for this cards... you obviously need to know personal details and address to send this cards (not everyone can use amazon lockers), and this is problematic information for mixer to have.

1472  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Multiple Users Self-Moderating A Thread. on: August 02, 2023, 10:36:29 PM
How about an option to add more user(s) of your choice to co-moderate a your self-moderated thread alongside yourself (the op)?
I don't see any good reason why anyone would do that?
First you don't know if other members you selected would accept to moderate your topic, and second they could delete all posts and lock your topic at any time without explanation.
If someone randomly selected me for moderating their topic I most likely wouldn't even know about that and I wouldn't do any moderating for them.
Lot of complications and that usually means more problems down the line.

1473  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: August 02, 2023, 10:30:14 PM
Well, I actually really like traveling slowly and long term. Last time I spent 8 months, doesn’t mean I’ll do that again but I just go with the flow so I never know. Will probably just buy a new laptop at some point, just avoiding that for now since I usually go with the higher ends and don’t feel like spending $1k+ to fix a couple lines of code. Tongue
Or you could try going in some internet cafes or place that rents you computer and internet access, people usually use them for playing games or talking with relatives from other countries.
I wouldn't waste money on junk laptops, but maybe you could look for good old Thinkpad used laptop and use it later as a cold storage, they are almost indestructible military grade T series with amazing keyboards.
Hope you are enjoying your vacation  Cool

Don't hesitate... one special superhero with beautiful eyes will be wearing this avatar soon [you just haven't received my PM yet]. Grin

He reminds me a little on the Pinguin character aka Oswald Cobblepot (Danny DeVito) from old Batman movie, if you are counting super villains in your avatars... but Catwoman would look cool Smiley

I think that in a week or so I will have all the avatars ready ... btw, my avatar is also from this collection.
I think you are missing another bald guy avatar from that collection, or you kept it only for special super-heroes   Cheesy
1476  Economy / Goods / Re: Stainless steel Bitcoin Recovery Seed Plate on: August 01, 2023, 10:11:00 PM
Here you can see some tests like fire, acid, pressure, …

https://jlopp.github.io/metal-bitcoin-storage-reviews/reviews/willi-recovery-seed-plate/

You can see the matrix and can recover all your data to access your coins.
The laser removes a thin layer by vaporizing it. The more you repeat your pattern with the laser, the deeper it will be burned in.
I really enjoy reading Jameson Lopp review tests, and he rated your seed plate very good.
This is probably one of the cheapest A grade Metallic Bitcoin Seed Storage I found on his website, except maybe Steel Wallet, Hodlinox Single Plate and DIYSeed.
Are you selling them only on Bitcointalk forum?
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Mass hack -- over 1000 bitcoin addresses have been affected on: August 01, 2023, 09:52:27 PM
I understand that in the first place you can think about the vulnerability of the server, but besides bitcoin, there was still a lot of things that could be stolen, but nothing was stolen, moreover, not even all of the bitcoin was stolen, so this is anything but not a server vulnerability. Perhaps the problem is indeed in weak entropy, but what exactly in my case, I don’t understand.
If you generated keys online there is a chance some of them got leaked, but maybe you can tell us what did you use for generating entropy?
Being a little paranoid during this entropy generation is not a bad thing, and I am even starting to suspect in entropy generated by closed source hardware wallets like ledger.
I think you should always do this part offline, and I would never keep keys online or cloud, aka other people computers, even if it has additional encryption.
I am sure there is a way for exchange to use some kind of multisig setup to prevent hacks like this happening in future.

If you are interested how Seed Generation works in Hardware Wallets check out one of my topics:

1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Recover BTC on: August 01, 2023, 09:34:30 PM
If you can "risk" the amount and think that your system is safe (like what you usually do), you can just import it to Electrum via "Import Bitcoin Address or private keys" in new wallet menu.
Then paste the WIF private key with the prefix p2wpkh: ; example: p2wpkh:L3BxN68HQp7zUv89ifFNDebU......
The choice is yours.
I am glad you managed to recover access to your coins and learned something along the way.
In future it is better to stay away from using  obscure wallets like Lunu, and don't hold coins on centralized exchanges, or you won't be so lucky next time Wink
Try to stick to proven and tested open source wallets/devices and decentralized exchanges like Bisq.

PS
I think some people can earn a nice amount of money helping other people recover ''lost'' coins, but at least they deserve donations  Cool
1479  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: LIPA, a non-custodial Lightning wallet without sending function on: July 31, 2023, 08:26:15 PM
First OBWallet, now LIPA wallet Cheesy
@internetional are you trying to do some kind of weird experiments with this brand new wallets or what?
I like testing stuff myself but never with real coins/money, and I am skipping this one because it's available only on iOS devices.
1480  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transaction pending after 1 week on: July 31, 2023, 08:19:57 PM
I cant increase fees i wish i can do
You can certainly increase your fees if you sent RBF transaction like you did, but I would recommend always checking state of bitcoin mempool before making a transaction, especially if you are in a hurry.
Easiest way of doing this is by using Mempool.space website that gives you recommended fees with different priorities, and higher fees means faster transaction confirmaion.
As for correct addresses, it's easy to copy-paste and then visually confirm addresses, I hope you are not manually typing every character  Roll Eyes
