What I believe is he owns the domain and he bought it from the Cosmotown domain provider at around $7 cheap a few days ago and then he hosted it to squadhelp trying to earn from commission by selling this domain with the Squadhelp landing page.
Yeah that explains it, I think you are probably right about this.
I saw that domain was registered on September 18 for one year, and current price is already $4,150 on the website  Cheesy

Certainly sir it seems that a number of people who have shared their thoughts see others as fraudsters. Looking back I think I may have made a mistake in how I presented my idea on this platform. I've spoken to some friends even though they aren't well versed in cryptocurrencies. They've suggested considering options, for raising funds.
You didn't answer a single question people asked here, and we saw so many attempts from people asking for donations in last few years that we had to be a little suspicious about it.
1224  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 42 Hardware Wallets, compared feature by feature on: September 20, 2023, 08:37:01 PM
Two new SafePal additions to our hardware wallets comparison:
- SafePal S1 Pro
- SafePal X1
You still don't know exact dimensions and weight for new model Safepal X1?
Another thing according to their website, available connection methods are USB and Bluetooth, that means that USB can probably be used for data also.

PS
Thanks for finally adding Krux Wink
1225  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinSnack.com Help needed for Bitcoin Vending Machine on: September 20, 2023, 08:23:23 PM
...
First thing, begging is not allowed in forum and there is a thin line between asking for donations and begging.

Second thing I noticed, you made few photoshop edits and you claim that you are trying to buy vending machine and in the same time you don't even own domain Bitcoinsnack.com, that is currently on sale...

Sorry for being a bit suspicious, but something doesn't feel right here.
1226  Other / Archival / Re: ✅ [ANN] [banned mixer] - Bitcoin Mixer - Bitcoin Tumbler ✅ on: September 20, 2023, 08:06:04 PM
Wink Expect Testers Reviews Discussion with interesting conditions for testers.
I am already doing quick testing myself, and I can say that clearnet address is not working for me after trying with several different browsers.
Onion address works, but I didnt do anything much except browsing the content, checking out fee and faq page.

Quote
After the creation of the order, you will see the minimum and maximum amount for the transaction, which is from 0.001 up to 100 BTC. In case you sent us less than the minimum, that would be concerned that a donation. In case you would like to mix a higher amount, please feel free to contact us through the support form, and we will answer you as soon as possible.
Can you confirm that you actually own 100 BTC by signing an address?

I'm sure the new forum software will still be expected any time soon in half a century Cheesy
We had so many SMF patches recently, thanks to PowerGlove, that I am starting to think that is not science fiction anymore.
If he can patch forum than he can surely do something with new software, and he already has attention of theymos.
I would be more than happy with improved Personal Messages and better Trust System if possible.

1228  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences} on: September 19, 2023, 11:03:49 PM
How? I can just not click the "bar graph icon", but I haven't found where to remove it.
I just clicked hexagonal settings icon, than in Appearance I disabled Market Tab.
After that I only have three icons on the bottom, first for coin balance, second for transactions, and third one for settings.
I was using wallet version 0.34.1 and no issues for me so far.

Version 0.35 shows "Failed to Connect Tor".
I never had issue with Tor on older versions, and I always keep it turned ON in settings.
I will wait a bit before updating to latest version 0.35, current one works just fine for me.
1229  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S don't work on: September 19, 2023, 10:52:44 PM
When I connect it to the PC, the screen of the Ledger lights up very dimly. Can it be that he is broken? Or is it the connection from the ledger to the PC or something else?
Weakest point of ledger nano S models is cheap low quality display that often gets unreadable after few years of usage or storage.
Easy temporary solution is to use smartphone camera to read content on screen, and you can also order new display from China for few bucks and replace it yourself.
Permanent solution is to stop using ledger closed source wallet and switch to some better alternative.

If I have to order a new hardwallet, does it matter from which manufacturer or does it have to be one from Ledger so that I can get back in with the 24 words?
You can use most hardware wallets and import 24 words, but I would choose models with open source firmware.
Depending on what coins you have good options are Bitbox, Trezor, Keystone, Onekey.

I Use macOS Monterey 12.6.9
the new cable don't solve the problem.
Try connecting it with diferrent OS like Linux (usb live version), just to make sure it's not because of operating system.
1230  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Using Instant Exchange on: September 19, 2023, 10:34:57 PM
There is not much we can do about it because even when we have 5000 XMR it gets sold within an hour or two. There are some people that are monitoring our XMR balance with scripts via API to receive notifications when it's up then come and buy it all. However this problem (which is not really a problem) will get some workarounds eventually.
Is it possible that some big centralized exchanges are buying coins from eXch?
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, but I noticed other coins can also dry out sometimes , for example there is not a lot of Bitcoin at the moment (a bit more than 0.92 BTC).
At least we can see balance of reserves, that is impossible with big exchanges, so it appears like they always have them even if they don't.

Also, it's possible to backorder XMR on eXch. What some of our users do while no XMR reserves are available is creating and funding an order so it gets executed in a first place when XMR reserves reappear with sufficient balance to cover their order.
Sounds good.

Odmori se dobro od foruma, i nadam se da se uskoro opet vidimo kad se vratiš iz Amerike i kad se stvari stabiliziraju na poslu.

1232  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Loss of assets in hardware wallets?! on: September 18, 2023, 07:30:53 PM
1- Has anyone ever lost cryptocurrencies stored in a hardware wallet?
Yes.
You can lose anything even if you keep it in most secure place in the world, if you give the keys (seed words) to someone else.

For example, the manufacturing company may have stored the words of the device, and after someone makes a purchase and transfers the balance to the hard wallet, the manufacturing company steals them. Has anyone ever reported that they lost their cryptos stored in hardware wallets?
Not from direct sales, but anything that has closed source firmware could do that in theory because you can't verify the code.

2- How do I know that the words I received will not be assigned to another user after some time in a hot or cold wallet?
You are not receiving anything with wallet, you should be the one who is generating random seed words.

3- I want to buy ledger nano s plus or safepal s1.  which one is good? (I only want for bitcoin)
Both of them are bad, but safepal is probably one of the worst hardware wallet, closed sourced and dirt cheap junk.
New model Safepal X1 could be a bit better, but it's still new and I wouldn't risk it until I see some reviews.
I am only recommending hardware wallets with open source firmware, that can be Passport, Jade or Bitbox if you only want to use it for storing Bitcoin.
1233  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences} on: September 18, 2023, 07:12:51 PM
I've never seen a crypto wallet that basically tells me to give up on crypto Cheesy
I have this option disabled because I don't care about current fiat values and analytics so much, and it is just a distraction for me.
And why would you even care about default settings for anything you use?
Do you buy smartphone, car, tv and other crap and just use default settings or you set it up like it fits you.
This is basically just like buying a new car but not changing seat position to fit your height, or turning on air conditioning to hot during summertime...  Tongue

Easy ''fix'':
Appearance - Tab Settings - Markets Tab - Switch Off.

1234  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Using Instant Exchange on: September 18, 2023, 07:02:03 PM
However, eXch absolutely serves for mixing when you exchange some coin to XMR, which is a privacy coin that is proven to be untraceable.
Small problem is that you aka eXch don't always have XMR available in reserves for exchanging with other coins  Wink
Some people reported this back to me several times and I confirmed it, but I think even Binance exchange had liquidity issues with that specific coin.
1235  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Multi-Sig with Hardware Wallets - Problem on: September 18, 2023, 06:54:34 PM
I have already discussed how to securely store Bitcoin. For me, it is impossible to never use USDT.
Now, let's talk about how to securely store the Ethereum token USDT and share my thoughts with everyone here!
This is to complicated and it has nothing to do with Electrum wallet.
One alternative for using USDT is with layer-2 Liquid Network and L-USDT token that is backed by Bitcoin and it has much lower transaction fees.
I think that supported hardware wallets are Jade (airgapped) and Ledger, and Green software wallet that should have multisig support.

1236  Other / Meta / Re: Trust inclusion or exclusion for inactive members. on: September 18, 2023, 05:19:30 PM
Here is where I was coming from. For example Bruno, many people distrusted his judgement but the person is no longer alive. Zepher is distrusted by many too. Same applies for him too. None of them will be leaving any more feedback to anyone anymore so there are nothing left to trust or distrust their judgement. They are above of all judgement.
You can't really confirm if someone is going to come back in forum or not, even if they are dead.
For example we had one well known DT member in our local board marlboroza and he was inactive for really long time, but then he made a post last month.
Second example was another of our members that stopped writing for few months, and we started to speculate what happened to him, he came back and said that he had to take a break because of his personal life.
There is no exact period to determine if someone is ''inactive'', really inactive or retired.

If Bitcointalk turns out to be as legendary as I hope it will be, our posts and trust feedback should still be here centuries from now. In about half a century, when the last of the current users stops posting and becomes inactive, they'll drop off DT1 and all their inclusions will become "untrusted". By then, the current scammers are inactive too, so the tags served their purpose and will only be part of history.
I think things will change drastically in next half of century, I am not sure internet as we know it and bitcointalk will even exist. Tongue
1237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin physical cash-(near)equivalent devices on: September 18, 2023, 03:38:00 PM
OpenDime, SatsCard and Cacascius; yes that's what I was looking for. Thanks
Paper wallets could also do something similar because they have printed private key, and there is also several projects that made bitcoin paper notes that look great and can be used the same way like cash.
Here is one of them called offline.cash, I think I remember them from bitcointalk forum, but only reservations are available.
1238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NERDMINER: Bitcoin lottery miners on: September 18, 2023, 03:31:26 PM
Interesting little project that it's relative easy to make it, I know LILYGO T-Display is dirt cheap to buy and it's widely available on internet.
Code for nerdminer is open source and that is great, but I think this would be useful only if I had time machine to get back in past and actually mine some BTC Wink

1239  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: safepal or ellipal titan mini on: September 16, 2023, 09:37:12 PM
I want to buy a hardware wallet. I only have bitcoin. In your opinion, is safepal good or ellipal titan mini? (I don't have a financial problem, I just want an air gap hardware wallet).
I also want a hardware wallet that support bip39 password (a cipher that is needed during recovery, in addition to words, and is actually a protection for words) when creating the wallet.
Both of them are bad and closed source wallets, so I wouldn't waste money on them.
Safepal recently released new model that has open source firmware, but it is using only bluetooth for communication so this is not airgapped device.

There are few more available options, cheapest one is Jade hardware wallet, than you have Keystone and best option is Passport hardware wallet.
They all have open source firmware, and Coldcard is also available if you don't mind CC license (not open source),
1240  Economy / Reputation / Re: LoyceV's Avatar and Signature log (campaign managers read this!) on: September 16, 2023, 08:40:21 PM
It detects any change. See this signature. I had to search in the page source to find the one byte that changed.
I don't worry about false positives, the campaign manager can see the difference between correcting a byte and switching campaigns.
Sounds good, but I guess they would have to keep list of participants updated all the time, that can be a hustle for some.
How can manager see if link in signature was changed, maybe with added different custom link or different website?
