1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the forerunner of the paperless economy. on: July 27, 2022, 05:18:47 AM
Bitcoin has played an important role in making the system more popular in paperless economic transactions. In paperless economic transactions, any amount of currency can be exchanged quickly without any hassle. There is no interference from anyone and no one can know any information about this transaction. So in this transaction system many people feel comfortable to do the transaction.

That's not true I think. Since all the transactions arel recorded on a blockchain, all the government needs to do is knowing your public adress. That's why the exchanges enforcing KYC on their customers. They already know who is using crypto anyway.

Crypto is great but that's the only thing I don't like about it.

It is not anonymous like physical FIAT.  (except for monero) You heard that right. What you said above is completely wrong.

Physical banknotes are the only thing which is good about FIAT and removing them is not a good idea at all.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: July 26, 2022, 10:25:29 AM
So, guys what will be your choice from these coins and why? Any specific reason? - BCH, AXS, EOS, BTC, ETH

BTC obviously.

It is the first crypto which has the most adoption. You simply can't find an exchange or a casino which don't accept bitcoin. If you have a crypto based business, then one way or another, you accept bitcoin.

ETH would take the second spot for the same reasons mostly.

The rest are just noise. BCH, AXS, EOS these are shitcoins that are going to die maybe not tomorrow but later on.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: July 26, 2022, 09:28:12 AM
This is in reference to a newbie thread in the gambling section about his list of casinos that surprisingly are not on this forum, there are too many of them some of them are already running 5 to 20 years already.

So I would like to ask are you playing in casinos that are not on this forum, if so what are these casinos and how's your experience can you recommend them here, can you name your own list

I don't play on the casinos that don't promote their services on this forum. It is a safety thing. When you get scammed by a casino which don't have any representatives here, then your complaints won't have any effect on the casino. They'll just ignore you. If they have any accounts on this forum, then it is a whole different story. You can raise a crowd and force them to fix their mistake. If they don't, then they'll get lots of red tags and flags which is going to make them lose customers.
1664  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The effect of drugs abuse on youths on: July 26, 2022, 08:12:58 AM
Nearly 60% of youths are prone to drug abuse and are been influenced by peers group ,who make them indulge in this act ,this makes the youth have a higher ratio of drug addiction ,this is why they dominate a higher population at the correctional centers facilities, mental homes facilities, prison facilities due to drug influence reaction.
There have been increase in the cases of rape ,robbery ,homocides, depression, suicide, gang fight and this cases have shown a large number of youth engagement in this crimes.
Increase in domestic abuse ,marriages are caused by this drugs influence and anger management problem faced by many of this youths ,both male and female gender.

What can the government, communities and parents do to cure this situation .

Young people need good education, attention, love etc... If they can't find these, then they'll become desperate about their future and ruin themselves with drugs. That's pretty much always the story.

There are only a few of them do drugs because it is fun or cool. Most of them usually have bad financial situation, problematic parents, sometimes no parents at all.

We can do "some stuff" but it is impossible to solve all of these problems. Some of those people don't even want to be "saved". They just want to die...
1665  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: July 25, 2022, 03:33:34 PM
I don’t know any of these casinos. You mentioned in your website.

You should probably add freebitco.in, playbetr, primedice and stake.com there because these are the best casinos I  know. There are others too of course but I can’t remember their names now.

Maybe your favorite casinos should promote their services in this forum so more people will know about them.
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins is a good way to keep and save money or not? on: July 24, 2022, 12:48:27 PM
What do you think about stablecoins, some scandals around them and their future? It is interesting to hear the opinion of the members of bitcointalk

I don’t like them.

They are centralized and centralized projects are not to be trusted because there is a lot of human factor involved.

Tether says their reserves are backed by real assets which nobody can see. How can anybody trust them with their money? I don’t and nobody should.

When tether goes down, this whole mania will come to an end. Sooner or later it will happen because tether runs on a big scam. It cannot last forever.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 24, 2022, 12:44:55 PM
Hey guys!

So I am interested in starting an online bitcoin casino, yet i have no idea how to start from.
I have a background in coding, and I know the in and outs of integrating crypto, yet i have zero game development skills, and i have no idea how much it will cost, and will it even get users.
Any help would be well appreciated! and looking for partners if anyone wants to start that.

Thank you!

You will only lose your time and money if you have no idea how start a business like a this one.

First of all you’ll need lots of money. You’ll need a team of devs, lawyers, customer support etc. You’ll probably beed some casino licenses if you are going to deal with FIAT.

You’ll need to know some basic programming too. Otherwise devs will fuck you over easily.

Just forget about it and invest your money in crypto
1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 24, 2022, 11:58:44 AM
If you're promoting a casino-based campaign you need to post at least 5 to 10 posts in the gambling section Currently there are  1136622 Posts and  5903 Topics in the gambling discussion alone the gambling announcement not included making it the most active board here in Bitcointalk.

If There are No Casino Signature campaigns Anymore Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same will we have the same stats as we are seeing right now

Obviously not. Most people make posts in these parts of the forum because they require to do so, otherwise they’ll get kicked out of the campaign which they belong to.

However this is a broader problem which isn’t limited to the gambling section. 5-10 posts required here but the participants still have to post more messages in the other pars of the forum to complete their post numbers.

Long story short, if there was no sig camps, not only this section the whole forum would be more empty.
1669  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 24, 2022, 05:19:15 AM
True, saving your money is one of the most important aspects of growing your wealth. If you spend your earnings on stupid stuff then you’ll make less savings and that would mean less investments. Less investments will slow down your wealth growth and that would make you stay poor a lot longer.

1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 23, 2022, 02:07:05 PM
What you are describing is called “sure betting”.

It is an offense on almost every casino. If you are not making any money by doing this, then it don’t make any sense because not playing would give you the same results.

Sure betting, arbitrage betting, chasing +ev games are usually not liked by the casinos and if they find out that you are making only these kind of bets, then they will probably ban your account
1671  Economy / Economics / Re: Can BTC keep up with another Fed rates hike? on: July 22, 2022, 08:12:45 AM
The Federal Reserve has come up with plans to raise interest rates again after doing so three times this year.
The Nation's Central Bank is expected to lift the benchmark Fed funds rate by 0.75 according to CME Fed watch

The Fed have been raising these rates aggressively in a bid to beat inflation, with some expecting the economy to enter a recession. Despite the previous rate hikes, economists predict that this may not be the last rate hike for this year because inflation has hit a 9.1% since June and assets like the cryptocurrency have not been left behind.

Cryptocurrency have been dubbed the "cure-it all for what ails you" as it has helped to curb inflation, low interest rates, lack of purchasing power and what not. This was all when it was in it's high tho.
With the way rates are going up, is it advisable to buy and hodl or to apply DCA to buy at intervals as price keeps fluctuating? Fed rates hike link

Not only bitcoin, the whole financial markets is at risk. The fed will eventually have to stop raising them rates but they need the inflation to stop before that happens. If the inflation keeps going up and it probably will, then the feed will have to keep raising them rates till the inflation stops. That would mean a lot more pain would happen in the both stocks and crypto markets.

Btc would probably go even lower if we see another interest rate hike.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 22, 2022, 08:09:59 AM
Quote
Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art of arranging buildings, objects, and space in an environment to achieve harmony and balance

Gambling is about luck and luck is about math. Feng, Dong, Cheng, Chiang or any other Chinese dude has nothing to do with this. Mathematics has no religion or no nationality.

Even if was working, you may follow whatever crap Feng is teaching and the casino may as well do the same thing. Then what? It is a draw again. Then your luck is going to be the deciding factor once again.
1673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banking crisis pointer to Bitcoin credibility on: July 22, 2022, 04:59:32 AM
This can't happen with Bitcoin if your savings are in Bitcoin and in your private wallets,

That's the problem.

Almost everybody who trade bitcoin is holding their coins on an exchange because they are traders and there are probably more traders than holders. Even a portion of holders are holding their coins on an exchange which is quite stupid. If you can't secure your own private wallet you shouldn't be holding bitcoin imo.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 21, 2022, 06:19:30 AM
Which necessarily improved when the Gambling platforms had more withdrawal options, things Like: PayPal, Debit Card, Online Gambling, Cash app, Gift card etc. Having the freedom of having so many options improved the players willing to deposit money by almost 49%!!

I it not about having options only.

It is about making it fast and without problems. Preferably decentralized.

freebitco.in for example is rarely doing manual inspections and every other withdrawal request is fully automated. If you have a rock solid, hack-free casino you can do this too. Otherwise you'll have to manually check almost every withdrawal request which is going to frustrate the players and then naturally they will leave this casino.
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla: "We have converted approximately 75% of our BTC into fiat currency" on: July 21, 2022, 06:13:34 AM
Why don't tell just spit it out like how it is?

They simply "sold" their bitcoins.

Nobody cares what this paperhand boi Elon does anyway. Maybe he will learn a lesson from this mistake. You always "buy low and sell high" You just don't do the opposite because it makes you lose money.

Hearing that Elon?
1676  Economy / Reputation / Re: How many red tags is the scammer Royse777 going to get? on: July 20, 2022, 07:33:32 PM
I understand, they just failed in payments, and he was only a partner and a promoter for people not to get paid, not a big deal, just usual business.

There was another campaign manager who didn't make it in time for weeks, months. I forgot his nickname. lightsomething? In the end he got a few red-tags.

You have a fair point though. This is how businesses might go in the end. Sometimes it just don't work the way you imagine it would. There shouldn't be any excuses...
1677  Economy / Reputation / Re: How many red tags is the scammer Royse777 going to get? on: July 20, 2022, 05:51:28 PM
Why would he get any red tags? I don't understand.

As I understood from his explanation, He was partnering with bitlucy which failed to make payments but in the end he also didn't get his payments in time and he wasn't in charge for making payments.

Royse777 I know is an honest person. People can change in time or make mistakes but I don't see a big deal here.
1678  Economy / Economics / Re: The fear of Bitcoin monopoly in El Salvador on: July 20, 2022, 04:56:11 AM
In September, 2021, El Salvador became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender; that, we are all aware of. Then President Nayib Bukele went further to spend a total of $106.3m, according to Bloomberg analysis, since it's adoption in 2021. This move was unwelcomed by citizens as they grumbled over the supposed waste of public funds but it sseemed like Nayib was looking at the futuristic benefits attached to this coins. Take a scenario where BTC skyrockets from it's present price of $19.608.8 to a high of $60k or $100k, they could become richer than China and the US combined if they decide to invest in their country like China did.
With it's adoption, the government introduced the use of chivo wallets because of its efficiency and lack of credit consumption.

Granted, Chivo is a public ledger, hence the citizens can be aware of transactions and all that. But where I need your opinions is on this: can it be made public enough to scare off monopolists?

It is true that they can become very rich by investing in bitcoin but it will be on paper unless they can find someone/some country to exchange their products/services for bitcoins.

If not, to feed their people, they'll have to sell them coins which they bought earlier and it will create a sell pressure on the prices.

In the end they will need USD to make them trades.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 19, 2022, 02:16:18 PM
Well i cant put more words, the video says it all.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsB15QKz9No&ab_channel=EBDSports
I really think this damage the trust in the sports bets , or anything related to the sport gambling, i know a lot can say its a kind of protest but still really unclear.

I've seen some stuff before but never ever seen anything this obvious. You'll never know when this is going to happen in one of your games. Still though, cheat or no cheat, somebody has to win the bet right? There needs to be an outcome for the game. Sometimes the game gets canceled however and everybody gets his money back. This is probably one of those games because the cheat was very very obvious.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 18, 2022, 03:47:40 AM
Just like any other strategies/algorithms/patterns, martingale is also useless against the house edge and the other limitations. The casino protects itself with the house edge and most of them won't let you wager more than a certain amount. (maximum bet limit)

When a player uses martingale, he mathematically ruins himself.  Since blackjack is also a game where player is against the house, the limitations are pretty much there. There isn't much of a difference than playing dice using martingale.
