661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Constant wins in the casino for several days, then constant losses. Noticed?! on: September 03, 2023, 06:35:23 AM
Playing for many years, I observe a certain series of wins and losses. It looks like it every time! Also in casino chats, a lot of people talk about it.

Most of the time the casino takes the money. But when the winning session comes, on this day many slots give you a solid win, it is impossible to lose. This successful session can last several days.
As soon as this ends, absolutely all slots begin to take money.

How do you win and lose?

Nah I don't know what you are talking about. My winning sessions only last 5-6 games and then I get more losing streaks and obviously it costs me money in the long run. Because of these reasons I don't gamble so often anymore because the more I play the more I make the casino richer. Sometimes when a big tournament happens I break my diet and make more bets than I should have but who cares. It is all worth it. I am saving money for the next world cup for example. Now casino can cheat there. It is all sports and everybody wants to win the cup so it will be a fair tournament.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: September 03, 2023, 06:24:25 AM
~snip~
Well.. the last line summarizes it. It's a good thing, right? In Europe and Latin America, too much importance is being given to one sport and everything else suffers as a result. But in the United States, no one sport is having a monopoly and there is enough attention being given to most of the Olympic disciplines. One disadvantage with the United States is that despite being the no.1 economy in the world, they don't have a good football league. The Major League Soccer is nowhere in comparison to European leagues such as Serie A or EPL.

I don't think it's either a good or a bad thing... it just is.

The passion about football only exists in Europe and South America. Is that a good or a bad thing?, I don't think it matters, it just is.

And also I don't think you can create that by putting more money into the competition. South America is an example of poor countries with a love of football whereas in the European competitions there's a lot of money involved. So, it's independent of money.

The world is simply bigger than we think. Football is the #1 famous sport in my country too. In USA, it is basketball I believe. (or is it baseball?) In some other part of the world where Brit influence is strong, Cricket is more popular. (Believe it or not, I don't know anything about cricket other than what I just said now) If the North Americans don't like football (they even call it soccer wtf) we can't blame them for this. I for example, never played baseball, never watched a baseball game, just like cricket, I don't know anything about it. Played basketball only a few times and I found it pretty boring. Football (not soccer) is all there is for me. I don't really watch any other sport.
663  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 02, 2023, 05:33:02 PM
There is a halving coming next year to which many people who know and have bitcoins have set a target of the amount they hope to have in their holding by the time the bull run begins. I like to know if with this knowledge of bitcoin halving coming, if anyone is investing in anything other than bitcoins. I do not mean alt-coin but things like Real Estate, stocks, bonds etc. I know that Real Estate is good to invest in, but asides real estate, what else are you risking the money you should to invest more in bitcoins on?

It is never to put your eggs in one basket. Crypto is not the only game in town. Of course I am investing in the other assets. There are opportunities everywhere. If you only buy btc then how am I going to buy them other cheap assets? There are great stocks that are very cheap, some great alts go cheap from time to time too. The important thing here is, having some dry powder lying around. Yes FIAT. FIAT sucks but it is also a position and sometimes it pays to own some.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of Bitcoin over fiat and local banks on: September 02, 2023, 05:29:01 PM
Bitcoin has lots of advantages over FIAT. First of all, bitcoin is decentralized and that means you can send and receive bitcoin without asking a permission from anybody. With FIAT, banks decide if you can make a transaction or not. They can cancel you out of the system any time they want. They did it to the truck drivers in Canada. They can do it to you and if you don’t behave well. FIAT has some advantages too though. FIAT is accepted by any merchant in the world. (International or local) Crypto still has a long way to catch-up with FIAT. Maybe 5 years from now, things will change more in favor of btc.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: September 02, 2023, 04:29:02 PM
Bitcoin all the way. Bitcoin is the best crypto in the market. You may not make 100x with btc but you are not going to lose money if things go south too. With alts, yes you may make x100- x1000 if you are lucky but that's they keyword here... do you feel lucky? Why even take that risk? If you feel lucky just play dice. Investment is a serious business and bitcoin is the most serious crypto out there. There are a few good alts too though. Maybe you can try eth, ltc, xmr but I wouldn't bother with them. Just get btc.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: September 01, 2023, 05:14:15 PM
Coinbase used to list only btc… I miss those simpler times tbh. I wish there was an exchange that only lists a few cryptos. Btc, eth, ltc, xmr and doge is all we need. We need to stop with the shitcoin madness but it is not going to happen because all those exchanges make most of their money manipulating the prices of those shitcoins. Even coinbase is doing it. Once a bitcoin exclusive platform is now a shitcoin cemetery.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: What did elon do wrong in Twitter on: September 01, 2023, 04:21:12 AM
Elon did nothing wrong.

He kicked them useless employees because they were doing more harm then good. They were democrat sjw’s and let’s be honest nobody likes them other than the other democrat sjw’s. I like the current state of twitter more tbh. It is a lot more entertaining and even DJT sent a new tweet lately which means x is on the right path. Elon did the right thing buying twitter. Now he can promote anything he wants without any fear of getting censored by any democrat fuckwits like Dorsey or zuck.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 01, 2023, 04:10:20 AM
I dislike it when a gambler comes up with a betting strategy. He thinks he may beat the house if he does that. Obviously that’s not possible because of the house edge. I see many gamblers every day trying complicated gambling patterns and I have never seen any of them winning anything in the long run. These losers will stay losers forever as long as they don’t change their minds. The same goes to people that do technical analysis. To me, doing TA and creating betting patterns are the same thing. They never work.
669  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vave.com - is a rasists on: August 31, 2023, 06:50:22 PM
Another scum casino that is weaponizing KYC on their customers… Sadly, This is a very common behavior among the shit casinos. It is all good as long as you lose money and when you start winning suddenly Russia, Iran or whatever unpopular country you live in becomes the mother of all problems. This shit has to end. Thanks for sharing this with us, now I know that i will never ever play in this casino even if they were giving outstanding freebies/promotions. Some casinos don’t accept any players from the USA too. When these casinos are in search for an excuse to steal, they will find one. Being Russian, Iranian, American or European, it won’t matter. If they decided to steal from you, they will.
670  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: August 30, 2023, 08:21:43 AM
Of course it did. There is a global food crisis and global means it is happening everywhere in the world. It is not only food too. Almost every product’s price is going up. Food, electricity, water, housing, booze, cigs whatever you name it. I can’t think of a product that’s going down in price. The central banks are raising the interest rates but It is still not high enough to stop the inflation. As long as it is cheaper to borrow money to purchase stuff, the prices will keep going up. When will it end? I don’t think it will in the near future.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a problem a Personal Finance? on: August 30, 2023, 04:43:08 AM
       -   You, yes, you. Are you tired? Can't make progress? Or every time you move forward, something bad always happens? Are you in a situation where you have to start from scratch again? Where does your problem start? in money? Why do you always have no money? Is it because of your responsibilities for your family or because you just don't have spending discipline? It is important that you know what the root of your problem is? Maybe the reason you are not making progress is because you spend a lot, so every time you have an emergency, you move your savings? Or sometimes you can borrow a cape. How to handle money What is real personal finance? What do you have to do to learn it? There are some things that can help you in this matter, and some of them are:

[a.] Read books related to personal finance.

[b.] Always hang out here on the Bitcointalk forum; you can see and learn a lot from this platform.

[c.] Watch videos that can give you inspiration to become better. And mingle with people who have a positive outlook on life.

This forum is probably a better source of information than any personal finance book out there. Knowledge is important however it is not everything. What people need is a a good monthly income and that's only possible you own a business fully. If you started to wageslave for the big/small corps in your young age and continued to do so till your old age, then it gets harder to become financially free/independent in your young age because that's what wageslaving does to you. It eats away your soul. If you wageslave long enough, they will give you a pension and then you can live the rest of your remaining 10 years in peace.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock wants to reduce the price of Bitcoin on: August 29, 2023, 05:28:59 AM
The good old dump and pump game. Since blackrock has the power to pull this, I think they’ll find a way to crash the prices. We need to stay awake and keep some dry powder. (Lots of dry powda) BR will buy them cheap coins and so can we. Then the ETF will get introduced and the prices will go to the moon. (Possibly above $100k) I think I liked this scenario. This might be the last chance to get rich because who knows what will BR do with the prices after the next mega pump. They very well may treat it like gold and gold isn’t going anywhere since the last decade.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the size and frequency of online casino winnings depend on the time of year? on: August 28, 2023, 07:21:17 PM
Do you think that there is a dependence of online casino winnings on the time of year? For example, for 9 years of playing, I received almost all the biggest winnings from November to May. In other periods, the game develops much worse  Undecided.

What time of the year do you win more often?

I win more often when I play less often which is mostly during the Summer. In winter, I stay home mostly and staying home makes me want to play more. When I play more, like you already guessed, I lose more. It is because the games are designed to make you lose if you are a regular player. So in my book, playing less equals winning. The professionals might not agree with my thoughts because they are professionals which means they are making money in the long term. An amateur like me can't even dream of making money from gambling.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Glitches still affects online casinos? Or it's the casinos that sucks on: August 28, 2023, 04:27:35 AM
I wouldn’t play on a casino which glitches occasionally. You shouldn’t too. If I experienced something like that on a casino while playing, I would withdraw my money and leave the casino for good. That glitch could be anything. It might be my browser or the internet connection but it might be the casino scamming me. How do I know if the casino didn’t create these glitches knowingly? You should also create a thread and inform people about what you experienced and maybe there are other people who got affected by this glitch will say something about it too.
675  Economy / Economics / Re: India just bought 1 million barrels of oil using rupees instead of USD on: August 27, 2023, 02:11:55 PM
This looks bad for the USD if it continues. Many major oil producers don't like the US. Saudi Arabia used to be a very good friend to the US and now they act like an enemy. What did the US do to anger these people I don't know. It looks like the US lost their biggest and the only partner in the Middle East. If you can't buy oil with the USD, then why would anybody hold it anymore? The USD is slowly losing its biggest use case which is buying oil. When the USD dies, hopefully bitcoin will take over and maybe then BRICS countries will start using bitcoin. That would be a great win for everybody.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bnb after next 5years on: August 27, 2023, 09:16:08 AM
Few years ago, didn’t though that bnb could reach such milestone as it is 3rd most invested altcoin in crypto world. But most of exchange tokens are fall down for being useless (only use for discounting exchange fee) as well as after exchange get hacked. So what do you think about bnb in next 5years?
Is it really worth for long investment?  Will it increase like ether or become dump like others exchange coins?

BNB will be fine if you think Binance will be around in the next 5 years. BNB itself has no use case other than being a centralized ETH clone and a casino token. I don't see anybody paying/receiving BNB for the goods they purchase and sell. People only buy BNB to get rich and that rings an alarm bell in my book. What is going to happen to BNB if the SEC shuts down Binance completely? It won't be any good I can imagine. I would rather invest in the real decentralized projects like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero etc. These coins don't really fully depend on an exchange's existence. They will be around no matter what happens to a certain exchange.
677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: August 27, 2023, 09:10:59 AM
I don't think gambling is halal in Islam. I am no authority but it is just common sense. Interest is no good for example and gambling is way worse than interest. However, anybody can say that it is halal to gamble and establish "halal casinos" and probably nobody is going to stop them unless they live in SA. It is probably better to leave religions out of gambling because it will make things pretty messy pretty quickly. Gambling itself is not the cleanest business in the world and mixing it with religion will only make the matters even worse. Remember we are here to make money, not to make our lives worse.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China crackdown against gambling streaming on: August 27, 2023, 07:35:30 AM
China is such a pain in the ass. They are fighting anything that's fun for the people. I think it is because China don't want their citizens to have fun. The Chinese gov wants the citizens to work like a robot and do nothing else. Eat, drink, work and sleep. That's it. (shit and pee too) Trading crypto? Nope. Watch gambling? Nope. Getting drunk? Nope, you will have a bad social credit score. How can anybody live under a regime like that? It is crazy. I drink whenever I want, fuck whenever I want and I gamble whenever I want. Fuck China.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 26, 2023, 05:13:08 AM
From someone who have claimed faucets almost all his days in 2016-2018 and managed to make some good money from just faucet claiming, I can't help but thinking how those running faucets at that time making money from it.

Since I don't see many people talking about this today I will like to ask for your help if any one knows of any places that I can learn about how to run my own faucet and how to make money out of it? .

Running Doge coin and few other old cheap coins like Litecoin Faucet is still doable, I can even add the likes of Shiba too,  where do you think I should start from? What do I need to learn about?

Lastly, what advice do you have for my goal?

Faucets are done for. The biggest one freebitco.in shut down their partner freedogecoin years ago and freebitco.in is more like casino than a faucet and it happened years ago. Trying to revive a dead business is a futile attempt. Facuets used to make good money when they could get ads from google but then google banned these websites from adsense. That's exactly when most of them died or became crypto casinos. Tbh I don't even know a survivor other than freebitco.in. All the others are dead. You should look elsewhere, there is no money in that business anymore.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we need to start asking people if...... on: August 26, 2023, 05:07:03 AM
While I was trying to question him about how he know about Bitcoin he revealed that he is a student, and that being a plumber is his side hustle, this answered my curiosity about how he knew about Bitcoin.

Have you guys been promoting Bitcoin by asking workers if they will receive Bitcoin as payment? How was it? This is actually the first time I will do such, all my mind was focused on, if I didn't see Bitcoin Payment Receive here I wouldn't bother.

When your workers work for a minimum wage it doesn't matter whether they collect they money in FIAT or BTC. They'll still have to spend most of the money to pay their bills and there will be nothing left to save up. Actually in these situations FIAT is even better because we still can't pay all the bills via BTC and that means these workers will have to go a crypto exchange, convert their crypto to FIAT first, withdraw and then pay the bills. It will create so many extra steps...

If the workers are getting paid well enough then it is a completely different scenario. These people are probably making investments in various assets and if you pay them in btc, they will surely keep some of it.
