If bitcoin is $70000 today, 0.0005 BTC equals to $35. If you deposited even 0.00049 BTC which is high amount that seem like scam if your exchange account is not funded with it. Those exchanges are using this to scam people.

A friend told me about something like this about OKX. That the minimum deposit for bitcoin is also 0.0005 BTC. These exchanges are scamming people.

If you use a passphrase, you will need the passphrase with the seed phrase. If your wallet has synchronized with the blockchain and nothing showing but zero balance, that means you still used not the right seed phrase or the passphrase is not correct.

The physical bitcoin that I know of and which are the physical bitcoin casascius. They are somehow worth more than the price of bitcoin if you sell it physically without tampering with it.

They are looking for a way to arrest him back. I guess federal government can not win this and likely he will make it to United States. Let us see how it goes.

I do not understand your solution but I know it is not a solution. There will be nothing called private or public miners. Miners are miners.

If you want cheap fee and fast bitcoin transaction, you can always have just small amount of coins on lightning network. If you do not want to open channel, you can use wallets that have channels and all you have to do is to just do the backup of the wallet and start generating invoices for payments.

Encourage them to use lightning network. Having like $50 on lightning network is not bad. If you have spent it finish, or before it is finished, you can fund it again.

If you have your seed phrase, try delete and redownload and reinstall the wallet. Both Ledger Live and Electrum and see if any of it work.

You mean your device is too old to install Ledger Live and also not able to install Electrum? Window 7 and lower version of Windows can not successfully install recent versions of Electrum but I do not know of Ledger Live. Maybe it is time to install Linux OS like Ubuntu on your device. I am certain that Electrum will work perfectly if you are able to install Linux OS successfully. But before installing it, make sure your computer has the specifications needed for the installation. You will see the specs on the official site that you want to install the OS.

But also we should be careful of where we are submitting our identity cards and others for verification. Also we should take our security and privacy seriously. Someone sent me ₦275000 last year. I called Kuda myself to refund the person. Kuda said they will. No one can stop someone from cheating. It is left to the wife to divorce, separate or just continue with the relationship if she is benefiting from it.

Both bump fee and cancel transaction are almost the same thing as you double spend the transaction. In both, you have the second (child transaction). The child transaction weight or virtual byte will determine how higher the fee can increase more.

Let us imaging that they are of the same addresses. Either cancel transaction is of the same fee as bump fee or of lower fee or vice versa. It can be of lower fee if you are sending the coin to many addresses, but instead send it back to one address if you want to cancel the transaction to just one address. So I can say that both are of the same fee but it depends on the child transaction vbyte or weight that will determine how higher the total fee to be paid would be.

Let us say the purging is 2.91 sat/vbyte right now. If the server of the wallet that you used set the purging to be less than usual, and you used a fee of 2.5, the server that the wallet used may make the transaction to be broadcasted successfully. But if it is by default and it is 2.91 sat/vbyte as it is Right now, any transaction with the fee rate below that will not be broadcasted by the server of the wallet used.

Also know that if the server has already broadcasted the transaction and later the server dropped the transaction in a way that the sender can spend the coins again in another transaction, if the sender decided not to spend the coin again, the sender should not be surprised if the transaction he thought to have been dropped later got confirmed because the unconfirmed transaction has been sent to other nodes and some nodes have different settings.

So if you want a transaction to be sent back to you, it is better you use RBF to cancel the transaction to send the coin to the address that you own.

If a transaction is dropped from mempool, the fee will also be dropped because there is no transaction at all as the transaction dropped from mempool.

If you cancel a bitcoin transaction, not that you actually cancel it. You only increase the fee so that the coin can be sent with higher fee to another of your wallet address.

Next time, just use pump fee/increase the fee instead if you are still willing to send the coin to the receiving address.

It could be as a result of the script type.

Try to import the seed phrase again, click on 'script type'. It is in Native Segwit by default which consist of bitcoin addresses that starts with bc1q. Click on it and you will see other script types which are:

Legacy (P2PKH) which consists of bitcoin addresses that starts with 1
Nested Segwit (P2SH-P2WPKH). Which are addresses that starts with 3
Taproot (P2TR). Which are bc1p addresses.

If you know which address your seed phrase generate, you can click on the right script type. Or just import the (seed phrase using the) 4 script type individually and check which one are funded.
