No other reason why you should not use Metamask wallet. So far it is an open source wallet, using it with Trezor is good. It is one of the best altcoins wallets.

If you have the wallet install and you have not deleted it, no need to setup the wallet again. But if you do not have Metamask again, you will need to setup the wallet. If you have your seed phrase backup, you have no problem.

Because Metamask is not an open source wallet. I am not also a Mycelium wallet user, but I saw on Mycelium that you can connect it to a hardware wallet, but just that Metamask is supporting more coins and tokens. If you have generated a seed phrase or private key, the wallet you used can give you the option to backup the seed phrase or private key using QR code. You can use the QR code as backup. So that anytime you want to recover the wallet you can use the QR code backup to recover your wallet as it contains the seed phrase or the private key. But I will not advice you to use this method for backup. It is better you write down your seed phrase instead which is better and seem more secure in my opinion.

In a version last year, the UI was changed to a new one. There were changes to the layout and also their was improvement to the UX. Electrum is another option that you can go for. Bluewallet is good to be used as a watch only wallet, but you can also use Electrum as a watch only wallet. They are both good wallet.

Also you can use Sentinel wallet.

The thread was kept inactive as people are not posting there but it would have been better if people are posting on the thread. Since we started that thread, BTC/NGN speculation, the price of bitcoin has been increasing. Naira has been getting devalued all the time and has been a bad asset to hold in long term. Even if bitcoin price is not increasing, it is still increasing against naira due to inflation in Nigeria. Some people do not even know about the thread because it is not active. It would be good if we can make the thread to become alive once again.

The only people that this will affect are those that are dependent. I mean the salary earners. Provided if there boss or government do not increase their salary. As for people that are buying and selling goods and services, they would have increased the prices of their goods and services in a way it would blend with how US dollar is increasing. Many people among us are earning more in US dollar rate. So I do not see much problem about this.
