Profile.

I have found this guy who has written the last 4 or 5 posts in about a 5 minute interval.

What should I do? Should I report him? Should I tell his campaign manager?

Do you think this way of posting is acceptable?

Edit 10/23/2022: I've found another burstposter.
2442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have all the 'Bull Runs' just been billionaires pumpin and dumpin? on: October 12, 2022, 04:02:18 AM
I don't know what your mania is with seeing conspiracies of millionaires everywhere. In this cycle in which there has been institutional takeover and more millionaires buying than in the previous one, which was known as the retail cycle, there may have been a greater influence of millionaires if they have bought or sold but in the short term.

Not necessarily. The previous bull runs — especially in near peaks, mindless retail "investors" who just jump in on hyped assets had heavy participation. Them panicking is what cause the heavy drop as well, as it causes a domino effect.

I agree, and what we saw in the previous cycles is the norm for a highly volatile asset, without a major influence on the price of millionaires or Hedge Funds.

In this cycle we did see the influence of billionaires, like when Musk bought and sold, but the drop in these months is more due to cascading liquidations of leverage positions and panic selling when it was revealed that Celsius and others had problems.
2443  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 12, 2022, 03:56:58 AM
Hey guys.
Choosing crypto in casinos has always also to do with more anonimous gambling.
Anyway I'm curious how important is anonimity to you when you pay & play?

In my case I am not looking for it at all, because I play poker on fiat sites and being perfectly identified makes it much more difficult, although not impossible, to cheat. The poker crypto casinos without KYC make it too easy to cheat. When I have occasionally played at crypto casinos it has been without KYC. If I had been asked for KYC I would not have gambled.

I understand on the other hand people who bet with cryptocurrencies looking for anonymity, because in some cases they are in a country where gambling is prohibited, or where the offer is not varied and due to regulations and taxes the RTP is low, among other reasons.
2444  Economy / Economics / Re: Portugal will be "hodling friendly" on: October 12, 2022, 03:52:40 AM
I wasn't thinking of politicians and their servants, but of ordinary people who certainly wouldn't have anything against paying 0% tax, even if they had to wait for it for several years. When you look only at the differences within the EU when it comes to taxation and regulation of cryptocurrencies, then you see how many differences there are according to something that should be harmonized across the entire union.

It was clear. Almost nobody likes to pay taxes, and if they are in favor of certain taxes being levied, what they really want is for them to be levied on "the rich" which happens to always be people who get paid more than they do, even if they get $100k a year or more.

If all those in favor of 0% tax  vote for politicians who raise taxes on them I expect them not to complain.
2445  Economy / Economics / Re: Portugal will be "hodling friendly" on: October 11, 2022, 01:42:14 PM
There are at least two other countries that have a tax rate of 0% after a certain period of investment, but also those that have tax-exempt up to a certain amount in one calendar year.

I knew about Germany:

Germany Affirms Crypto Sold After One Year Is Tax-free

What's the other one?

I think that everyone anywhere in the world would agree with such tax rules, especially those who invest for a long term of 1 or 2 years.

Not everyone. Many politicians are so narrow-minded that such a measure will be a matter of a few isolated countries. With the global trend towards more and more public spending and taxes, exempting a tax is not something that is going to be generalized.

2446  Economy / Economics / Re: Take shelter, a storm is coming in October. on: October 11, 2022, 03:39:58 AM
I am also worried the world economy has been tested to its final limits and i think ay major tumbling can lead to fall. I am really worried, if we are doing the right thing at this moment and what could be an ideal backup plan if worst happen. For now I am counting on Bitcoin as it seem to have a better future ahead. But yes we all need to brace for difficult times ahead.

Well, Marx already spoke of the inevitable end of capitalism, and not only has it not happened so far, but it has made humanity reach a level of prosperity and welfare that would make him turn over in his grave if he could see it.

These moments of crisis have always been and will continue to be, what we must be prepared for them, for example by not having excessive debts, especially of consumption, or having some Bitcoin holdings, as you comment.

I think I'm going to leave this thread open for the rest of the month at most, and maybe close it earlier because I don't want it to become a spam megathread.

2447  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 11, 2022, 03:04:12 AM
Hey guys. Apart from winning let's talk about loosing  Wink
We all have bad days...
So the question is...if you loose many times in a row, what would you like at most - a cashback from what you've just lost or a bonus to go on?

In general, I prefer rakeback for poker, and that's what you usually get. The bonus usually implies that you deposit, and that's something I haven't done for a long time. Anyway, both are a form of cashback, the house gives you back part of the rake they are charging you, so it doesn't matter that much.
2448  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the Bitcoin casinos with first deposit bonuses? on: October 11, 2022, 02:56:26 AM
I'm a pleb who would like to build capital only for gambling. I want to start from scratch/small amount, but I also want to build it up as fast as possible. I was thinking one good path to start would be through first time deposit bonuses. The plan is to deposit $100 to one casino and complete the bonus requirements there, then go to the next casino and complete the next requirements, and continue on to other casinos.

Your plan has too many odds stacked against it, as you have seen.

BetPlay is in the list. I made a deposit in the casino through Lightning, I didn't see a bonus. It's probably because I lost the whole deposit in an hour? Hahaha.

At least you laugh it off, as it should be. Taking betting in the casino as a system to win money, unless it is with poker or a specific sport is usually a good system, paradoxically, to lose a lot of money, exacerbated by tilt.

Winz.io have interesting bonus deposit you got freespin depend on deposit you made and only have 1x wager requirement on the the deposit amount and zero requirement for the FS.

Remember to try this one.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Censorship resistance is underrated, move to bitcoin and #DeletePaypal on: October 10, 2022, 03:44:28 AM
I am glad they have removed that clause because of the negative response from people and the controversy generated. Many people believe that censorship is acceptable nowadays, but that a private company could act in that way has a component of arbitrariness that is closer to feudalism than to an advanced society.

Who decides what is correct information? If we talk about things like that the earth is round we will enter into a consensus, and even so, there are those who deny it and say that it is flat, but when we enter into topics that have an ideological component we enter into dangerous terrain.

For example. When CBDCs are soon to be implemented, expressing the opinion that Bitcoin is more reliable and more secure than them could be considered misinformation. And so we could find a lot of examples.

I used paypal a bit in the past and stopped using it by deleting the account, because of some charges they wanted to put if I remember correctly. Now I have them sending me emails saying they will give me some free pennies if I come back. Let them sit tight.
2450  Economy / Economics / Re: 23 Countries Now Abandoning US Dollar on: October 10, 2022, 03:33:23 AM
My fears are that it won't be easy, there will be retributions for this, stock market crashes, black money generation. Funding changes,Oil price fluctuations, maybe recession and more. I fear if there will be wars due to fallout of these things.

Don't be so afraid, the death of the dollar has been talked about for a long time, and so far what has happened in this crisis is that it has revalued against other major currencies because countries around the world use it as a safe haven. The headline of the article is clickbait and that rag does not have much credibility. Another thing is that there is a slow loss of hegemony of the dollar with respect to the power it had, say 20 years ago, but it is not an overnight thing and neither are its effects.

2451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2017 joined but still member on: October 10, 2022, 03:25:38 AM
If it's just a matter of shame, it shouldn't have to be. I imagine that in reality the OP wants to make money with signature campaigns, but if not, there is nothing to be ashamed of. This is a forum and if he posts in the sections he does and in the way he does to pass the time there is nothing wrong. His posts don't have much merit, yes, but a lot of the traffic on forums is a form of entertainment without much effort or merit in what is written.

2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A painter received $50 worth of bitcoin on June 2013. on: October 10, 2022, 03:07:35 AM
The only thing I would do if I were her, and therefore what I would recommend, is not to sell everything. If she's tempted to trade it for fiat, she can sell half a Bitcoin and wait another 10 years. I'm sure it will be worth it.
2453  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to BTC & the rest of crypto if the US will default on its debt? on: October 09, 2022, 01:36:42 AM
On a related note, yesterday I saw that according to the US National debt, every US citizen would owe almost $100k, and if we only count taxpayers, almost $250k. This does not seem very sustainable, especially if we take into account the deficit, and that the negative numbers keep growing.

https://www.usdebtclock.org

So far, things have been sustained by a forward flight, as the world's richest and most powerful nation and having the dollar as a reserve currency, but the debt cannot continue to increase ad infinitum.

Regarding the possible scenarios, I think there are two, and a priori we cannot know which one would end up happening: that the Bitcoin would fall precipitously and deeply in price, or that in the face of the crisis the Bitcoin would become a refuge and rise in price. I think it would be a mixture of both: a first downturn to rise quickly, as happened from March 2020.
2454  Other / Meta / Re: Selling guns on Bitcointalk on: October 09, 2022, 01:28:19 AM
in which country it is legal to sell dia..ze..pam and c.?

It is legal to sell that in most countries, if not all of them. The point is they have to be sold by prescription, which I doubt is required in these threads.

Why don't you post links? Those threads break the rules and you will make it easier for the mods to find them to trash them.

I had a look in the goods section but I didn't see those threads.

This has nothing to do with freedom of speech.

Was it just topic(s) that haven't been noticed by the mods?

Because they are busy, and the threads are not so easy to find, I guess?
2455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 90% of bitcoin is owned by 2% of user base on: October 09, 2022, 01:22:36 AM
The OP's claim, aside from the fact that he has not been able to prove it and is most likely false comes from the communist minded garbage that comes to say that the world is very unequal and the solution is going to be a politician confiscating wealth from those who have the most to distribute it to those who have the least.

The nonsense is such that I get tired of repeating it ad nauseam but here we go. To begin with, it starts from the false conception of wealth according to which wealth is like a cake, and then, if the rich get richer, they take part of the cake away from the poor and then they are poorer. The garbage of this conception cannot explain why then today almost 8 billion people live on earth, poverty has been reduced everywhere, especially hunger, and there are more than 60 million millionaires.

According to Marx's capital this is impossible to have happened.

In order to deceive people into believing that the world is in a very bad way because of inequality, they change the terms and want people to believe that a poor person today is like a poor person in 1800, when the quality of life of a poor person in a developed country is much better.

As for Bitcoin, the same people who complain about inequality are those who from the beginning said that Bitcoin is a scam, a ponzi scheme, etc. and who now see that Bitcoin is not going to disappear, but has come to stay, they start to protest about how unfair it is that some have more than others. But above all, what pisses them off is that a redistributionist politician cannot confiscate Bitcoin to supposedly redistribute it. I say supposedly because in the redistribution the politician is much more favored than the others to whom he redistributes. We only have to look at the inequality between the billionaire politicians of Cuba, Venezuela or North Korea and their poor citizens.

Because of course, they don't like to talk about merit and things like that. Like the merit of having bought Bitcoins 10 years ago and HODLed them, at least a good part of them to this day. No, for them that's unfair and the state, through a socialist, or worse, communist politician, has to confiscate it and redistribute.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Table tennis is the best sport gambling! (My strategy of winning) on: October 09, 2022, 01:03:08 AM
My God! Not surprisingly, the OP's nickname is: "fishy". I'd like to see him at a poker table. If we look at the other threads he has opened, they are nonsense like this one.

Betting on such tournaments is pure lottery. It's cool if OP you really got $600 profit, but I wouldn't suggest for others to bet on it, well maybe only with small money.

It's just that the OP doesn't seem to understand, or doesn't seem to want to understand the difference between short-term and long-term results. Let him come here with results after a year of betting every week at least consistently and if he shows winning numbers we can start to believe him about his systems. But in another thread he recommends garbage martingale as a good system to earn money:

I find way to win on dice
2457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Distortion Pattern on: October 09, 2022, 12:56:52 AM
All these patterns have been experienced by all gamblers because there's no such thing as always bad days or always good luck in gambling, every session is very much different from all the other sessions...

The patterns set out by the OP are a good summary I think. Although perhaps it would be necessary to qualify the variance, because it is not the same to play games with low probability of winning than safer games with a higher probability. Simplifying, it would be like the difference between playing roulette on a single number or on red or black. In the first case, most of the sessions will be more similar to pattern II than to pattern I. Pattern III and IV will be more likely to occur in games where there is a higher probability of winning on each bet.
2458  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is Casino Critique on: October 08, 2022, 11:32:39 AM
It's been a while since I've been in the reputation section, and, in fact, I think I'm going to end up putting it on ignore because I'm a bit fed up with the unnecessary drama, sometimes stirred up by alts. At first I enjoyed coming here more, as it's like the gossip on Bitcointalk, but I'm getting fed up.

I would like to make a reflection that has been going through my mind.

I know what Casino Critique's main account is.

And I think that hiding it in the end has been detrimental, because, in my opinion, that person has a pretty decent reputation, I'd say. Although not perfect. That person sent me a PM telling me about the project and offering me a free chip. I did not promise them that I would not tell who that person is, although I understood that they preferred not to disclose it. I didn't remember anything the PM said about no disclosing and I had to look at the PM again before writing this post to realize that it said:: "...Casino Critique is my official account. Please keep it unpublished."

In my case, I have not disclosed it but not for money or anything else, because I am not involved in the project and I have had little to no relationship with the people involved during my time in the forum. I simply understand that the people on the project prefer not to disclose it, and I respect that.

The only thing I could have been involved in would have been to invest some chips, but it didn't convince me, as it didn't convince almost anyone else. It seems that the project will continue despite the adversity of lack of funding and if it is finally a successful project will be mainly due to persistence, effort and faith in the project that have those who make up the team.

Although I think it would have been better to say who Casino Critique is, I don't think this issue has had any influence on the funding. I think such big numbers on a new project is what people don't see clearly.

I just prefer to improve my financial situation in a boring but safe way: DCA to the S&P 500, DCA Bitcoin and some RE.
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 08, 2022, 07:07:25 AM
Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam?

What you call scam I call mathematical certainty. There are some sites that are scam, but not even close to 95% and in this forum, in general the ones you see in the signatures of forum members are legit with some exceptions like 1xBit or 1xCrap, as I prefer to call it.

Learn concepts such as expected value or mathematical expectation, House Edge and RTP and you will better understand how casino games work. You never have to take them as a good system to win money. Think of it as entertainment, like going out to dinner or to the movies, but with the difference that from time to time you may come out with more money than you went in.
2460  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA) discussions on: October 08, 2022, 06:54:23 AM
Are you implying that there's a universal solution [or solutions] that can be applied to all kinds of crypto-asset service providers and wallets out there?

No, and I don't know why you say that.

What I imply is the following: the countries forming the European Union have had a generally social-democratic political orientation, which had very positive results after WWII and until the end of the last century with high welfare quotas and reduced inequality among its inhabitants. Compared to other parts of the world, the reduced crime rates can clearly be attributed to these welfare quotas and the reduced gap between rich and poor. But for at least a couple of decades now, the regulatory tangle and elephantine bureaucracy is leading to a system more akin to that of the USSR (to exaggerate a bit) than to that of states that allow the private sector to create wealth and then redistribute it.

EU’s Russian Crypto Ban Confirmed as Bloc Tightens Sanctions[/url]
All crypto payments from Russians to European wallet providers will be forbidden

Do we know in a practical way which wallet providers and services we are talking about? Is there a list?
