2321  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 0.003 BTC for the best analysis of this NLHE 6-max poker hand. on: November 01, 2022, 04:59:10 PM
I am not really sure what you want to read...

So your question is prolly 'do we call or fold the river?'

I would like to specify that hand reading is normally done by analyzing from preflop to river. Apart from that, by leaving Hero's action in the river in question mark, the question there is what is the best course of action.

Do not edit the posts any further. My intention is to give the prize. If I were to end the week now or if during the week I have worse hand reads than I have here, I will give the prize to one of you.
2322  Economy / Games and rounds / [Ended] 0.003 BTC for the best analysis of this NLHE 6-max poker hand. on: November 01, 2022, 02:28:10 PM

I have exactly 0.003355 Bitcoin at the address I receive my signature campaign payments. I will give what I have there minus fees to the best hand analysis.

I have not put either the room or the level for privacy and because I think it can be analyzed regardless. I will only say that it is a room and a level where regulars abound, and that, from the few data we have, the opponent is a regular (he has a full stack and raises the hand instead of limping). No stats.

As it is money that I am going to give because I feel like it, my decision will be final and unappealable, although I have put three criteria in a signed message, which will be obvious to anyone with a certain poker level.

I will reveal the full message starting next Sunday.

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Address staked here.

I am not sure that I have not made a mistake with the message, because I did some tests and I screwed up, so I say that my decision will be final even if the message is not verified, but as I said, the criteria are obvious to anyone who knows poker and hand analysis with a certain level.

I will accept hand analyses until next Tuesday, November 8 Sunday, November 6, Saturday, November 5, at 23:59:59 forum time at the latest. If I see a very good or perfect analysis, I may end the game and give the prize to the person who does it, because once someone gets an analysis right, there is nothing to add.

If, when I look at the thread, I see several correct analyses, the prize will go to the one who posted the analysis first.

Good luck!

Edited to say that there are two requirements to participate: to be a Jr. member at least and to have at least neutral net trust (you can have 1 positive 1 negative feedback from DT).
2323  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is Casino Critique on: November 01, 2022, 08:28:40 AM
I noticed several of you persistently repeating yahoo62278's conflict with Royse777 as a conflict of interest and competition. I don't understand why, because those two aren't the only campaign managers here.

yahoo62278 was accused of having it, and of having "taken away" some campaign, I think in Bitlucy's thread. What is clear is that I do not have a conflict of interest, and, on the other hand, did the other campaign managers, tag Royse777?

I think yahoo62278 was honest when tagging and wasn't trying to take advantage.

I think Royse777 is not "she" but he.

Whatever.

No, it's just that the name sounds feminine to me, like Rose. But she might be gender fluid or something, or some of the other 82 supposed genders.

At a time in history when many people consider saying that boys have penises and girls have vaginas to be fascist on the level of Mussolini, using he or she I don't think is very relevant to what we are discussing.

You have reported 16 posts with 89% accuracy. Do not worry about your accuracy too much; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports.

I don't know why you are surprised. Why do you think I chose option 2 instead of option 1 for my future thread?

I don't trust him.

You're free to use my bot. I don't know anything about poker, so I won't take part in this.

Here' s the catch, he says LoyceV will not take part, but he says nothing about LoyceBot or LoyceMobile.

I can see him doing a hand analysis Negreanu's style.

If I were you, either of you two, I would put the other on ignore and forget about it. Ignoring certain members has worked very well for me. The time I spend on the forum I don't want to spend angry, no more than absolutely necessary at least. And if you think that no matter how much of a reputation we have, we're just someone behind a nickname, it's not worth getting too upset.
2326  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is Casino Critique on: November 01, 2022, 05:52:06 AM
Allow me to provide some clarity, the primary reason why you were included in the small list of users that received the PM inviting you to receive freebie tokens and being instructed to keep the secret quiet. In the Royse777/Bitlucy scam and reputation threads, some of your posts could have been interpreted as being opposed to me or my views. In some of your posts you (rightly or wrongly) came across as though you were in favour of giving Royse777 a fresh start and minimising her input in the scam whereas I and several others were against it and wanted Royse777 to be fully held to account for her part in the Royse777/Bitlucy scam.

It was clear you were not trolling me as three low-level nonsense posting trolls were at the time (and they have been doing so intermittently since then) but the impression Royse777 probably got was you were against me and thus you were a staunch defender for her reputation. That is my most probable conclusion.

I think that's only part of it.

First of all, offering something for free is a good business strategy to stimulate sales. After the free chip offer, I was looking at the project and thinking whether to invest something. If I had, it would have been an amount I didn't mind losing, on the order of $100. But I didn't see the point. It is not the first time that I have been presented with a business project with big numbers, very well detailed, that in the end comes to nothing.

I guess it included those of us who initially supported the flag and/or left neutral feedback and then changed the feedback to neutral and withdrew support for the flag.
But I like to think of myself as having independence. It's not either you're with me or you're against me. Each case, taking into account the evidence presented, may lead me to one course of action or another. And for me, knowing that she had covered up for Naim027 was the straw that broke the camel's back. It made me rethink everything.

Also, there are some things that I'm becoming aware of. For example, there is supposed to be some competition between Royse777 and yahoo62278 for the management of signature campaigns.

But then I see that efialtis, who took a long time to red tag Royse777, despite saying clearly from the beginning that Bitlucy smelled like an exit scam, has a business that is the same that Casino Critique is trying to implement. Coincidence? I don't think so. And I'm not saying that for efialtis, who I think was sincere with the tag.

In my case I neither compete for signature campaing management nor will I start any business project in the forum (never say never ever but certainly not in the short or medium term).

At this moment I count 4 negative feedbacks to her, because the one from yahoo62278 even though it is neutral colored is clearly negative in my opinion.
2327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Apple Pauses Gambling Ads in App Store Pages After Developers Complain on: November 01, 2022, 04:35:37 AM
This is apple wanting to make more money. This is going to encourage advertising to hurt others or competitors.

They are making the competition of developers which the rich developers can advertise on the competitor's page. This is really going to kill the apps that are inferior and low quality which I think is good also for developers will push to make better apps.

I don't quite understand you. The gambling market is huge and if they stop accepting gambling ads, assuming it is a definitive decision, what they do is stop generating revenue on that side.

Although Apple doesn't need it.

Apple’s iPhone Sales Fuel Record Profits, Despite Recession Fears and China Worries

I guess they can afford to avoid certain types of revenue because they have such a strong economic position.
2328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are five things you will do if you win huge amount of money?? on: November 01, 2022, 04:17:19 AM
I'd actually do three: donate it, invest it and spend it.

If we were talking about $1M, I would donate at least $100k, invest most of it, like $750k probably split between RE, stock market and Bitcoin, and the rest I would just splurge. As my net worth grows, I expect to donate more and invest less, so if the big win were a few years from now, the ratios would probably change in that sense.
2329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How can this be done? on: October 31, 2022, 08:57:46 AM
I will start with the fact the signature of this last message doesn't match the first signature posted (28 oct), but it does match the second (30 oct).

I guess you missed that I didn't save the first message.

Quoting the signature. Is it final?

I think I will do it next week, as I see that there is an envious person who wants to compete with me and has gone ahead of me.  Wink

Will publish the partial message here and when quoted I will create the thread in Games and Rounds.
2330  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: October 31, 2022, 06:23:02 AM
Countries hoarding gold is probably speculating also whether we are really going back to gold back currency soon.
Over the past couple of years there has been some rumors and evidences that could lead to the conclusion that countries (specially in the Eastern Bloc) are moving towards a commodity backed currency. One of those commodities is gold. There are some proposals and talks about using energy too. For example when you have the most gas and oil reserves in the world you could simply back your currency with that (essentially something like Petrodollar but for their respective currencies).

I heard those rumors from China, and also about stopping paying for oil in dollars to pay in that supposed new Chinese currency, which could well be the CBDC. Searching the internet I see this:

Russia, China may be preparing new gold-backed currency, but expert assures US dollar 'safest' currency today

Whatever the expert says, as he will probably be biased, I will not comment on it.

One of the things I find interesting about gold is that it is very convenient for storing and transporting medium quantities. Bitcoin can be used for both medium and very large amounts. There is nothing better to transfer $1B quickly from NY to Warsaw for example. But having a few thousand $ in gold or even tens of thousands does not occupy, does not weigh much and you can carry it in a suitcase.
2331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I play roullete in colombia and won some money today on: October 31, 2022, 06:12:13 AM
I dont play poker is a game for boring ass players like you.

I make my money fadt i. Roullete or blackjack and quit not stay hours and fold 200 hands.

Sure, sure, you make money in EV- games. What is clear from what you say is that sometimes you have played online, because that is what happens today, the tables are very tight, people multitable and if they do not get good hands they fold, fold and fold again. This in turn, causes fish like you to not have a good experience and find the game boring, so they go to play roulette or other games to "win" money. Typical.

2332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How can this be done? on: October 31, 2022, 06:07:25 AM
This could work for you too. It's the easiest I think 😂

I thank you for the suggestion, but if with something as simple as posting a signed message without fully revealing it I have made mistakes like this one, and this one, and considering that I had previously signed and verified messages, I think it is better that this time I focus on option 2 that NeuroticFish commented.

Let's see if this works, if it does, the only thing I'll have to do in the prize thread will be to include the address, as o_e_l_e_o comments, and that someone quotes me as soon as I publish it.

Address staked here.

Correct me if I'm wrong both of you:

Poker Player, if you want to add a timestamp to your message, I suggest that you incorporate the block number and the nonce from the last mined block into the message. When you publish the signature/hash of the message, you also publish the block number and nonce that will be in the message. That way, you will have another provable way of confirming when the message was created.

I understand that would confirm that the message was signed at least when that block was mined or after, and not before, but it could have been created after.

Do make sure that the post is / won't be edited; that's just one thing I'd try to make sure of. Or someone archive the page just in case there will be doubts in the future.

That can be seen in https://loyce.club/archive/posts/ and some other page. Messages are automatically archived when they are created.

Note: I had posted this message earlier but forgot to put "Signed message will be revealed on 10/31/2022" outside the message. I thought it was better to delete it and post it again rather than edit it.
2335  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is Casino Critique on: October 30, 2022, 07:54:41 AM
Oath breakers, fallen angels, back stabbers, anonymous executioners, negative trust ratings going in every direction like firing a machine gun…
I can't stand it when statements like the above are made, because they always leave me wondering whether I'm being included in that broad set.  I didn't break any oaths, nor do I think I stabbed anyone in any part of their body.  Maybe I'm just one of those soldiers in a foxhole sniping here and there but generally just trying not to get in the war all the way.

And I hope he is not referring to me, for I did not break any oath.

Actually, now that some time has passed, I think that hiding who was behind Casino Critique was wrong, and there were many of us who knew it.

People like NotATether, who said:

I was ready to invest 0.04 BTC with Casino Critique. I probably would not have had the confidence in doing so had I known that it was Royse777 raising the money, with him being fresh off the heels of the BitLucy snafu and all, with him saying he needs some time to cool down from it.

had the right to know.
2336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: October 30, 2022, 04:57:48 AM
Do you think gamblers should take the help of courts in this case ?

Your question is so generic that if you don't specify further I don't even know what to answer. It will depend on many things. Is it in the ToS? If it is in the ToS it is not going to do much good to go to court.

I think this is more typical of crypto gambling houses, as I am not aware of it happening with fiat ones.
2337  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History of Poker on: October 30, 2022, 04:39:43 AM
I didn't know much about the history of Poker either, although I imagined that it had evolved over time, like other card games and life in general. The evolution that I have come to see was from classic poker or 5 Card Draw to Texas Holdem.

Those of you who like poker stay tuned because I will open a thread in Games and Round giving a prize for the best hand analysis. I was planning to do it at Christmas, but maybe I will do it sooner.

It is not clear to me if that is supposedly a story that you knew first hand, because you do not put sources and you could have invented it, but I have heard similar stories from quite some time ago.

Nowadays there is not that much of a problem, what you have to do when you share a lottery ticket is for the one who has the ticket stub to send a photo via instant messenger to all those who share the ticket, as it is considered evidence in court.

That way, Charles could go to the police or the court and report Kelvin.

I don't believe in perfect strategy in gambling, by the end of the day your luck will decide if you win or not. House edge and strategy can be a factor, but overall luck is a big part in playing in casinos

You, like many, don't seem to understand the difference between short term and long term gambling.

In the short term you can have positive results. Go to the casino with $200 and come out with $800, for example. But in the long term the HE is everything, the more times you play, the larger the numerical sample, the closer your actual results will be to the expected mathematical results, and these always consist of a net loss.
