1361  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Your opinion about OKcoin? on: June 28, 2018, 09:21:44 PM
Last time I checked, they support very few coins . By very few coins I mean 5-8 of them which is bad compared to other exchanges which provide a much better trading experience with a number of coins and forks. I've heard they started KCY policies recently, you might want to consider that.
1362  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: messenger with blockchain technology on: June 28, 2018, 09:14:18 PM
hi guys,we want to create a blockchain messenger. so we want to know that a blockchain messenger how to develop that? and which programing language is better for that? and a blockchain messenger what components does it have? How to developing it that dictatorial governments can not block that?
how to developing it that hacker's can not penetrate into user information?
we whant to developing a open network.
- That kind of stuff is not needed really. It has previously been experimented on a high scale but the product didn't do as well. You might want to check them out : https://vibeo.io/ There are couple of others but can't recollect their names.

- The programming language will obviously will solidity or other frameworks depending on what you're trying to achieve.

- IRC works well for an open network and I don't really see the reason why a chat app is needed.Which part of the app needs to be on the public chain anyway?
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US State Seeks to Confiscate $24 Million in Dark Web Bitcoin on: June 28, 2018, 09:09:37 PM
The U.S. government is seeking to forfeit 4,000 bitcoins that were seized during a crackdown of vendors on darkweb marketplaces - an amount that worth over $24 million as of press time! That's an enough amount of Bitcoin to fluctuate the market. What do you think ?
Nope, very small amount to shake the market. You might be interesting case where court is planning to pay back the bitcoins stolen at the MT.Goxx hack to their rightful owners. They are a lot of coins and if they are circulated in the market, I'm assuming it will shake the price down letting bitcoin fall below 2k as these people will make enough money by just selling them at the current rates compared to what they bought at during the Mt.Goxx phase.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Logical and mathematical truth of bitcoin on: June 28, 2018, 09:04:26 PM
Those who want to believe in BTC at all cost, should avoid this topic.
You must have balls of an idiot to come to the Bitcoin Forum to post this? Anyway, the topic title is interesting so I choose to continue ahead with a narrow mind.

1) The blockchain part or "mining" in case of BTC is a special kind of scam. For getting a coin You must invest into electricity and computing power. In return You get VERY little chance to be awarded with a coin. This chance is so small, it is mathematically ridiculous, but in practise. ZERO! Nada, ничто, nichts... What kind of decent money is that, that everyone can apply by spending real money but only few of many millions are actually given by basis of pure luck?
It's not pure luck. It is how the system is designed. Why can't you suggest a better way of handling it? If you think you can solve the problems of bitcoin, you're free to create your own shit? What's stopping you?

2) The coin part of BTC is a monetary fraud. Although people make transactions voluntarely, they are cheated with the very core concept of BTC. While blockchaining may have some usage as a concept as well as cryptocurrency, it does still not mean that BTC is legit.
You seem like some from r/btc now. Those are the typical idiots who think that way without any logical explanations.

a) why is BTC quantity limited with 21 millions? What limits it?
b) what is the point of decentralised money, if its so volatile, that rate would drop 75% in 6 months (or grows by the same)? this is called a hyperinflation.
c) why is blockchain technology better in 99,99% of transactions, than regular private/public key technology?
d) do You really understand, what is private/public key crypto and blockchain in its core, or they just sound cool?
e) if BTC had at more or less decent chance to boom again, why dont all the richest investors in world buy it?
a) Call that a lucky number? If it wasn't limited, would it have any value? Do company shares are unlimited in supply ?
b) Hyperinflation never occur in the stock market?
c) Irrelevant
d) Most of us do? As long as you know how the system works, you don't have to understand every core file of it.Abstraction!
e) They might be? How would you know?
1365  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and Medicine in Africa on: June 28, 2018, 08:56:18 PM
This is again a very good topic of discussion but just like every other good topic in this board, this got buried too
It has been discussed over several occasions how blockchain charity/donation system can be used to solve the medicine crises in Africa. Turns out, money is not really the problem, accessibility is. A whole of communities in Africa live with their cultural beliefs and for them nature should have the cure for everything. Doctors aren't involved unless the plaque has taken several lives. In short, problem also lies in the way of thinking. Blockchain is certain to provide financial help to bring medicinal access to everybody but they're not ready to give up on their cultural ways just yet.

Blokcchain technology application to medicine and healthcare in Africa is in progress. I came across  a project that used blockchain applications to verify the authenticity of a drugs by scanning a barcode. I think in the future we will see more advance applications which will be beneficial to the poor.
Most of such projects end up paying more money to the military and corrupt politicians before they make their way in African villages.
1366  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How expensive is to create your own coin/token? on: June 23, 2018, 01:04:53 PM
I had a great idea for one type of coin/toke, but I was wondering how easy or expensive is to execute. I have seen post on this, but all of them scratche the surface.
Thanks.
- If you're a developer, it doesn't cost anything.
- If you're a technical guy but no prior knowledge in programming, you can still learn and pick up in a couple of months.
- If you're someone with money, you can easily find someone selling coin development services.
- If you have a vision, you can gather  a team that would help you achieving your goals.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin is too riscky to invest now ? on: June 23, 2018, 01:01:34 PM
It is always risky to invest in alts as they have a highly volatile nature.
To sum that up in one sentence : Alt's are very risky to invest at the moment because bitcoin is sailing down the river. History proves that  if bitcoin isn't climbing up the charts, there is no hope for other coins to do the same.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark net druggist identified by BTC transactions on: June 23, 2018, 12:58:35 PM
https://alextones.com/dark-web-drug-vendor-identified-by-bitcoin-transactions

I find it pretty incredible that in this day and age dark web fans are still using BTC considering how rapidly tracing is evolving, not that this guy tried remotely hard in the first place.

If you are posting heroin to babies maybe it's time to make the switch to a baked in anon coin.
Quoting from that post

Quote
HE DID NOT USE AN INTERNAL PAYMENT SYSTEM THAT PROCESSES TRANSACTIONS USING AN ANONYMOUS TRANSACTION

Why didn't he do that? I suppose the market place had a system which kinda of acts like a bitcoin-mixer to keep the trades anonymous. Not using the system could be the reason in him getting traced? Actually yes, the quote below from the post

Quote
“After observing the bitcoin ‘tip jar’ advertised by OxyMonsyter, agents conducted analysis of the incoming and outgoing transactions from that bitcoin address and learned that 15 out of 17 outgoing transactions from the OxyMonster tip jar went to multiple wallets controlled by French national Gal VALLERIUS on Localbitcoins.com.”
How dumb of him to not use a mixer?
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: June 23, 2018, 12:49:22 PM
How do you guys spot scam betting sites ? Which are the red flags with those kind of sites and do you believe the rating/review sites or they are mainly paid like the ICO review sites ?
There are reviews online as some may have been a victim before and be helpful enough to share their experience which is the only way I hope would be pretty easy to be able to know if a gambling site is a scam or not. Also, you may want to just stick with what others are using and those with far better reputation than trying to gamble a site that is unknown and not well used which I feel you will be better off.
Most of the reviews online are the reason why people keep falling victim to same scams on the same websites all over again. Those reviews are faked and sponsored by the scummy gambling sites. I have often seen the good websites are always underappreciated and scam sites like betcoin/vegascasino/bitcasino are highlighted as the best. Bitcointalk is the only place to seek for legit reviews. If that doesn't convince you, you can always start a new thread asking for suggestions.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: June 23, 2018, 12:27:11 PM
May anyone tell me what is the best practice for gambling with little investment? I have no so much experiance about it.Any suggestion or advice.
1. Always play at a site with good reputation and most importantly one that doesn't ask for KYC documents. I could name a few but crypto-games.net is the best one I could think of.

2. Best practices are subjective to games of your choice and the bets you make. Try to stick to dice games if you aren't very familiar with plinko/poker/slots. Each works differently.

3. If you're not playing for the fun of it, you shouldn't. Rather invest in the house which can be lucrative depending on the website of your choice.

1371  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How safe is my wallet at blockchain.info on: June 23, 2018, 12:12:28 PM

I created my wallet at blockchain.info
https://blockchain.info

I get my wallet id ( for login) and I created my password too. After login I got my wallet address id to receive the funds (or public key for sharing)
as "1NXnzET4nk2Jkn6ySZfBZALV5eJyNJXBRk".  But  I am not finding any private key in that account.

Is I am missing something or these online wallet do not provide private keys to users ?
the funds on that wallet is lost from a large number of users and when these users complaint then they say that they do not know and if the user lost their bitcoin then it is the malware on their PC. How is it possible that a malware comes to the PCs of thousands of users at a time and that remove their funds within a minutes from these wallets without login to the accounts!!!
The malware come as Key-Loggers which record all your keyboard strikes and mail it periodically to the host. On scanning the data, it becomes very easy to find blockchain.info's unique identifier following the password.
1372  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Funds Are Safe on: June 23, 2018, 11:39:07 AM
The way I see it : Deposit -> Wait -> Keep Waiting -> Website is down -> Funds are locked forever

Why would anyone trust you with even 1 satoshi? You're in a way a bank which promises interest over fixed deposits provided they're trusted and have a physical location/lockers. The only point of your contact is your online accounts. Fail business strategy/pathetic scam attempt.

I agree on this. You should show more credibility and how you will be of much difference than us holding our funds. Should also find a way you can give back our funds with some additional like percentages increase. Mutual Fund?

I think free profit, cloud mining, guaranteed earning promising systems or calls are mostly snake oil trading or scams... Also to manage a mutual fund or give some kind of interest requires legal infrastructure. This is not the point of this website. The motto is "if you are having difficulty holding your tokens, lock it and give the key to someone. If you want it too soon you will have to pay the price.
Fail business strategy * this is right one Wink it is just a funny business plan.
Funny business plan? Yo can't have 'fun' with someone's hard earned funds provided they're trusting you with it. I feel you're just trolling now. Also the idea of paying price to get my own funds back is hilarious! You're right about locking the key but you're not the right person to be trusted with keys.
1373  Economy / Services / Re: [HIRING] ANN Thread promotion on: June 23, 2018, 11:32:51 AM
Just wanted to put it here - If promoting your ANN thread means hiring shill posters to pump your thread, you're breaking rules of the forum which may result in getting your ann thread marked as a scamm project or locked forever. I will be closely watching your thread and I come across any accounts those are bumping your thread, I'll report them. Be careful while hiring third party promoters like the dude above.

We r going to promote the whole project, not only the thread and the idea is to involve more people in the conversation about the project future.
We don't try to achieve maximum posts count in the thread, but want them to be from engaged people
If u can help with the idea on how we can achieve this, I will be grateful)

thanks for the caution anyway)
-
Brgds,
Andrew
- It is totally fine to get the organic crowd to participate in your project. However, that's not the case here with most of the ANN thread promotion services. They rather create fake accounts and shit post in your thread. Your thread would have multiple pages of comments but not even 1% organic traffic.

- Often people like you fall victim to third party services which results in getting your project a bad review on the forum. Choose your thread promoters carefully as 90/100 times, they're account farming shit posters.

- Sorry not my field of interest.

1375  Economy / Services / Re: [HIRING] RPICoin is looking for qualified people to join our team on: June 22, 2018, 11:15:09 PM
What makes you think your thread will attract serious people if you don't mention the mode of payment? Why should anyone waste time writing you a message elsewhere and end up nowhere as you will choose to pay with your tokens? Most of the good members don't like to get paid in tokens.

You should consider mentioning how are you going to pay the team members. I have had similar experiences where a person asks to contact them on telegram only to know that they can only afford to pay in their tokens.
1376  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How safe is my wallet at blockchain.info on: June 22, 2018, 11:10:38 PM
it needs Gmail verification and phone number verification that's it, easy as that.
- Verifying your email or phone number is not the accepted way of creating your own wallets. Your data should be anonymous. You don't really need those details to create a bitcoin wallet anyway.
 - People just want to go the easy way thereby sacrificing their personal details. I agree Bitcoin Core is meant for tech savvy people but an alternative like Electrum should be used as much as possible.
 - I'm not saying blockchain.info isn't safe but if you deal with a good volume of bitcoins on a daily basis, it's a wise choice to store them in a more secure environment like Electrum or Bitcoin-Core.
1377  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am the creator of an internet project and I am looking for 300 investor in BTC on: June 22, 2018, 10:59:46 PM
what is the link that does not work?

the link works: http://www.goolzinetwork.com

This link explains the goolzi project.

You have to read everything to understand my project and my proposal.
Mate, that link doesn't work.Try opening that link using a  VPN or an online proxy to see if it's working. It might be working locally but the DNS cannot be located world wide.Either you are trolling with that link or haven't configured your DNS correctly.

Why haven't you installed a SSL yet? Even if I ping that address from the console I don't receive anything.
1378  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am the creator of an internet project and I am looking for 300 investor in BTC on: June 22, 2018, 10:20:04 PM
You have bitcoin in your wallet ?
So Buy an advertising space on the Goolzi network!

Huge development potential

Go see my project: http://www.goolzinetwork.com

 Smiley

the website on that link isnt working

true it has huge development potential nothing is there at all
How did you know the website has good potential when you weren't able to open it? I mean how can you possibly assume and idealise a webpage that you haven't seen and conclude it is a good idea? OP, none of your links are working. I don't see any potential in your developers.

1380  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will we ever have a bitcoin debit card that works worldwide again? on: June 22, 2018, 06:25:56 PM
I don't think those old golden days gonna come soon, banks and government have joined their forces to regulate bitcoin making it almost like fiat. You can't just exchange bitcoin or buy/sell it for fiat without getting noticed by government or tax officers. So point of privacy while dealing with bitcoin at some point might just become a psedotruth.

What you guys think about this?
Unfortunately no Sad

We never saw it coming. Commercialisation as we call it is always followed by tax-payers which helps build the economy. Exchanges, ICO's,Scams took it too far in less time.Government on the other hand was losing on a fruitful outcome from the technology of the future. They saw the opportunity just like everyone else and hopped on the bandwagon.

I really miss using my Xapo debit card though.
