1801  Other / Meta / Re: Simple Machines Forum? on: August 29, 2017, 06:42:12 PM
Trust me this saves you months and months and months of programming and coding. In addition to that these companies have take care of security, database control, making sure you don't get hacked things like that. Simple Machines forum is best among all of them.
Not really, the packaged forum does have a lot of security bugs and lacks other advanced functionalities. You can imagine how much theymos has coded along with the advanced algorithms for search and stuff like that.Theymos has also written custom procedures to mitigate DDos attacks.Spam protection, password storing are some of the areas where the original SMF needed a lot of effort.
1802  Economy / Gambling / Re: New BitCoin Only Casino on: August 29, 2017, 06:32:57 PM
Wow lol
The website had such an interface I felt I'd get a virus anytime soon.It literally hurts my eyes to watch something so miserable on a webpage.OP,are you really schizophrenic like your username ? If yes it perfectly makes sense to draw your hallucinations in form of a gambling website.

1803  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Open-Source] Community governed exchange site on: August 29, 2017, 06:22:52 PM
hey there
any news when will you release new updates? Smiley
and your demo do not work?
I could have reported your post as a necropost but since somehow I was affiliated with the project,I'd like to update you,
The project is mostly done.We had planned to work together,OP and I.I worked on the architecture and stuff but OP suddenly stopped responding which I believe due to their heavy work schedule and busy real life. They were motivated to do the project but due to lack of support from the community he stopped it so it's safe to say the project doesn't exists anymore.
1804  Economy / Lending / Re: i need 10 btc as aloan on: August 29, 2017, 06:14:59 PM
I want to take a loan but I do not have any collateral
I stopped reading further.
For Christ Sakes, stop opening thread asking for ridiculous amounts without collateral.Such loans were never filled in the history of lending on bitcointalk and never will be.Requesting you to lock the thread to avoid unnecessary comments and also a negative feedback if you take your account seriously.
1805  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign ( sorry guys i am noob ) on: August 29, 2017, 06:07:45 PM
what is signature campaign ? how do/where can i start it ?  how this forum can help me with signature campaign  ?
1.Do your own research.Don't expect to be spoon feed.
2.You can start by leaning more about bitcoins and how this forum works generally. This also means not starting a new thread for every small question.
3.Forum doesn't help you with anything. Please refrain from asking stupid questions and do a little research since all the questions you're asking is already been answered.
1806  Other / New forum software / Re: Keep SMF Theme on new forum on: August 29, 2017, 06:03:20 PM
I'm a strong believer in the SMF Forum theme that we have here on Bitcointalk.org now because I think it is time proven, classic, and ingenious.

It should not be changed.

What do you think?
The fact that the new forum beta has already been released and the interface is quite advanced than that of SMF is a strong reason we should move on.We can change the colour scheme to match this one but it is generally not a good idea to do so.I love the new theme and advanced UI components. With all due respect,I hate the idea of sticking to the same theme designed back in the day when technology was limited in scope.
1807  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitpay alternative to receive bitcoins on: August 29, 2017, 05:57:57 PM
I am looking for a solution to receive bitcoins equivalent to a fiat amount.
That doesn't make sense. Why would you want to do that ?

Client comes and enters his name and contact information in a form, he then selects a package among three and QR code is generated based on latest fiat price. Ideally customer should get an email once he pays, but that is not necessary. Any idea or help would be appreciated

What does the client pays in ? Bitcoins or fiat ? If you're running a website independently, you can implement your own wallet service and modify however you like.It wouldn't be that hard either. You can send me a PM to know how to go further about it.
1808  Economy / Reputation / Re: Legendary Memebers gone Bad!! on: August 29, 2017, 05:43:52 PM
Ok guys and Girls, lets start this thread. Post all the Legendary Members in this thread that have gone bad (negative trust) - also post the reference and the Story behind the negative trust. Don't post if you don't know or are not sure!
What purpose would the thread serve ? If you are planning to inform newbies to stay away from the listed Legendary members here ,I think the negative feedback left on their profiles does the job.People are gonna fall victim to the legendary status anyway.Good luck with your thread,I don't see it going anywhere.
1809  Economy / Services / Re: Monthly Signature Rental - Rent me your signature space on: August 28, 2017, 05:38:25 PM
Hey OP, I have a suggestion for you. Instead of paying participants in advance better keep funds with escrow. This will help you avoiding cheat from participants side. Several participants may take amount from you in advance and then remove signature.
Or it can be other way around. The signature will be offered but OP wouldn't pay at the end of the month.Op,you should be putting money in an escrow for safety from both the sides. If you don't mind me  asking, how much is your budget ? How many participants you're looking for ?
1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts about my portfolio on: August 28, 2017, 05:35:17 PM
You're planning to hold for a few years ? If that's bitcoin ,it's a good choice.Other coins would possibility have dumped and lost their value in a few months. Most of the coins in the list are complete trash and you're missing out on the big players in the game like Eth,doge and ripple. It all comes down to the same thing that is what strategy you're using.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 28, 2017, 05:20:01 PM
Match is over, everyone made their share of money. Gregor got thrown around like a monkey in a circus.Gayweather had a nice time fighting a prefixed match.Betters made their share of profits, all the science theories related to fight had been proved right/wrong and I don't see no reason for this thread to exist anymore.

@OP,Match is over. Please lock the thread to avoid further shitposting.
1812  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should hilariousandco *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: August 28, 2017, 05:15:25 PM
If hilariousandco is the reason why an extortionist is on Default Trust, then what is the basis for trusting him to impartially moderate the forum?
Because forum moderation has nothing to do with adding people to the trust list ? I don't see no correlation between trusting someone and deleting shitty posts ?

For as long as lauda remains on hilariousandco's trust list, I believe it be appropriate to both remove hilariousandco from being a Global Moderator, and remove him from Default Trust.
I don't see no point in that.Plus hilariousandco is the only moderator who responds to a lot of mod related queries on the forum.

I move to have hilariousandco removed from being a moderator and being on Default Trust effective immediately.

For as long as both hilariousandco remains a moderator and on Default Trust, and lauda remains on hilariousandco's trust list, I understand theymos agrees this behavior is acceptable.
You need to understand Default Trust Lists has nothing to do with the moderation.
1813  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked and email changed on: August 28, 2017, 05:09:19 PM
I dont have an address to sign tied to the account. The admins can clearly see my email was changed probably by some ip in eastern europe or something. Can't they just see that and reset it to the original email?
They can,they won't.
The only accepted way of proving account ownership is through signing messages from a staked address .About the IP tracing, resetting accounts being the least priority of the admins, they won't invest time to do all that hence signed messaged.I'm afraid you will ever get your account back if you fail to provide ownership.
1814  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of LEGENDARY member 'tytanick' and his lapdog 'meatmeat' on: August 28, 2017, 04:53:58 PM
To all scammers who are even thinking of fuc**** with me, don't even think about it.
I have already contacted the FBI on several members on this board,
Like man,I would love to know what  FBI  did to those members.
You do realise right this thread is suppose to be updated with the specific details incase you're scammed or you were about to be.As far now,I don't see anything relevant.

1815  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to join to a campaign and how to earn money when you join? on: August 27, 2017, 01:51:45 PM
I just want to know how to join in the campaign and how to earn a money, 'cos I need a money for now for my family financial support and for my future also. Please, Share your knowledge to me  Smiley
Money is the least important thing you need at the moment.Things you actually need,
1.English classes
2.Understanding bitcoins
3.Great forum contribution
If you still think you need money ,please get a real job as you can't support your family needs with signature campaigns.
1816  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Go to indonesia pay with fave coins for your travel needs on: August 27, 2017, 01:44:35 PM
Always wanted to your Indonesia with bitcoins.Initially I thought I'd find someone from the forum to arrange things for me using bitcoins in Indonesia but your service will really help if it's all legit.Anyway ,do we pay first or you guys use an automated escrow ?
1817  Other / Meta / Re: Removal of 60s timeout in case of wrong password on: August 27, 2017, 01:40:42 PM
Hi. Now that you added the annoying Google reCaptcha, could you please remove from the logging process the 60s timeout before being allowed re-trying to login? Or at least set it to 5s?
It is extremely annoying to have to complete a second reCaptcha to be told one have to wait 45s more seconds before doing it again, for a third time!!!
Bots.
Not the ones specifically developed for bitcointalk but general random bots to create fake accounts and promote spam. The 60 seconds delay is too much for a spam bot to waste on a forum ,they rather skip it.5 seconds delay would be easily to wait and proxy from the next up.I agree google captahata could get annoying but does what's it suppose to.
1818  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How to claim free Bitcoin Cash on Blockchain.info? on: August 23, 2017, 03:28:11 PM

you can do it right now with the btc.com bitcoin cash tool -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2094630
You sure ? Recently lot of red flags have raised against BTC.com.I still suggest him to move coins to a completely new wallet and then export the private keys to coinnomi since they support storing BCC and easy retrieval as well.
1819  Economy / Gambling / Re: HELP.. SPORT BETTING SITE on: August 23, 2017, 02:41:04 PM
I am using Nitrogensports.eu for my sports betting now, the sports odds offered by them are acceptable for me, and my withdrawals on the site are always processed without any issue. Sportsbet.io is another site that I used occasionally, but I have seen some high bettors having issues with them on big withdrawals, so it might not be advisable to use sportsbet.io if you are planning to wager huge amount of bitcoins.
In the past I have been into directbet.eu, and once they stopped their service moved towards nitrogensports.eu and this is quiet good for sports betting with better odds and therefore is no flaws in the settlement of the winning amounts. Not sure of sportsbet.io which I need to give a try.
Make sure to check their feedback before trying them out as those are left for a reason. They have involved in various scam activities from faking promos to making their shills win the competitions. After the end of directbet ,I kinda gave up on bitcoin sports betting.
1820  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I WAS SCAMMED BY A LEGENDARY MEMBER (glen123) on: August 23, 2017, 01:47:00 PM
So who paid through netwller again ? Shits confusing.
If you have paid him through bitcoins ,sorry there isn't anything you could do.Yoi can share his personal details from netwller to flag the user or you can report the account to netwller as well.Valuable lesson learned ,do not fall for green trust ,rank or whatever when money is involved.Always use an escrow.
