1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust Poloniex? on: September 18, 2017, 06:35:11 PM
Despite the negative feedback I've read about Poloniex, I still trust them and maybe it's because I haven't encountered any problems with them with my coins and with withdrawing coins from Poloniex to another exchange sites. And this was the very first exchange site I've tried and profited from when I first bought my altcoin, still have the coin there in Poloniex though.
You don't want to store your coins on an exchange, that's a bad way of handling bitcoins. You may have encountered any problems at the moment but considering the things other's had to go through,I'd not remotely trust the website.Their support takes forever to reply, withdrawals can take days and the website can go Goxxed anytime they feel like.
1706  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the most important in a cryptocurrency project? on: September 18, 2017, 06:30:53 PM
Hello all,
What is according to you more important in a cryptocurrency project between the idea and the team?
Would you invest in a project if there are only 3-5 persons or would you rather trust a big team?
There is a quote "Two developers get work done in 24 hours, the same work would be completed by a single developer in 12".Not sure if you will understand it but the team size doesn't matter, the work progress does.Having a big team needs more employee management techniques than code management.Less team, less ideas, focused people.
1707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign and Reward on: September 18, 2017, 06:27:59 PM
Is there a user who has made a total of 1bitcoin in signature campaigns alone , not investments but payment from posting and being paid.
1 Bitcoin ? I'm pretty sure forum has users who make more than 1 Btc per month only from the signature campaigns.Let's put it this way,if they have 10 alt accounts enrolled in the campaigns paying 0.02-0.03 per week, they still make close to 1Btc per month.I have also  heard people quitting their real time jobs just to do signature campaigns as full time profession.

So far I do not know how much total bitcoin I get just from the signature campaign, but if someone has started it since a long time and continues to hold the bitcoin they get from the signature campaign then if it is like that it is possible now he already has 1 BTC only from the signature campaign.
I don't do either, been on the forum since 2 years and I DEFINITELY made 1Btc from signature campaigns.
1708  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked - No Response From Moderators on: September 18, 2017, 06:24:42 PM
The thing is i never posted my btc address anywhere in posts or on my profile page.  However i have sent my btc address to another user as he paid me a very tiny amount of btc a while back.  So if that user who is a legendary user on this forum still has those private messages, would that work or not?
I don't think that would work since it's not public. The staked address are public for a reason.I'm not sure though, maybe admins will consider it.

The other thing is could someone here tell me when this user changed my password and email address?  This has to be around a week or so as that was when i could not log into my account.
Search for your hacked account's username here : https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php

The thing is if i could not get my account back, can't the mods freeze or ban my viking02 account then?  I would like my account back but if i cannot, i want that account banned.
They won't ban the account, instead you can prove the ownership of the account and ask DT members to leave negative feedback so the account would still be useless.
1709  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚩 Bitcasino.io – the FUN, FAST and FAIR gaming experience! 🚩 on: September 18, 2017, 06:20:47 PM

As with most other gambling portals, we find it important to have an independent third party as the place where customers can escalate complaints that they don’t feel we’ve resolved to their satisfaction.
While AskGamblers is a well-known affiliate in the industry, quite separate to this it has for a long time offered an independent third-party complaint service respected by players and casinos alike.
Given their reputation we are happy to use them as the first point of contact for player issues, though players are obviously well within their rights to go to our regulator if they prefer.
What players should really do is sue you for scamming money. Why don't you tell us more about your affiliated casinos like VegasCasino and SportsBook ? Why there are only complaints/scam accusations against your partners all the time ?

EVERYONE SHOULD AVOID USING A BONUS HERE!!!
Using a bonus ? Everybody should avoid the casino totally! *TrayBear will jump in to shill for the scammers now*
1710  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan of 0.15 ETH. Interest of 5% will be given. on: September 18, 2017, 06:17:15 PM
If I had any other altcoins then I would have myself converted them to ETH instead of asking for a loan and giving 5% interest. I don't know how come my Bitcointalk account not sufficient for the collateral. I have seen many users with lower rankings using their accounts as collateral.
Using accounts as collateral isn't the most accepted way to get loans here. It's depends on lenders and evaluated case-by-case.Since account selling is not endorsed on this forum, lenders don't wanna risk their reputation for selling accounts if at all you don't pay back. Moreover,no one said an account would give you a loan here.

Also even though I can understand external reputation would not count, but I am just giving you an idea that I am not asking for a loan as an anonymous person and will pay the loan in a 30 days period. I know it is hard to believe anyone these days, but I am not a pick and run guy. That's why told about Steemit account. Can also share my Facebook profile and page with interested lender. Won't risk all of these reputations of mine for 0.15 ETH!!
All those social media accounts can't be used as a valid collateral.Read that what is valid collateral twice. You can be legit ,as  much as you claim but the legend says,"No Collateral,No Loan".
1711  Economy / Reputation / Re: Account seller ( sr member) , tag him please on: September 18, 2017, 06:12:50 PM
Hello, can you tag this  person please , he try to sell his own account

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2186079.0

The said account is already tagged and hence you should lock this thread to prevent uninvited conversation. To a certain extent I do feel it has a little harsh to tag him with a negative since he was selling his own account a neutral would have done the job.Anyway, feedback's are subjective, this thread has served it's purpose.
1712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nexchange.io too many suspicious activity on: September 18, 2017, 06:09:42 PM
Exactly bro. I had to open a new self-modded thread as many people got butthurt that their posting quality was not up to par. And then we decided to lower rates, therefore the reasoning for opening the 3rd thread.
That doesn't sound like a well managed campaign if you ask me.I mean lowering rates after finding out posting quality not up to par just doesn't justify anything.

This thread is illegal. It is defamation, libel, slander and could cost OP a lot of money. Would definitely lock if I were them.
Now I did crack myself up for sure. You do know right, there are scammers on the forum, cheaters, fake gambling websites,ICO scammers, hackers and I don't re-collect any of them going to jail.Good Luck while sending OP to one. Undecided
1713  Economy / Services / Re: ★★ Signature Campaign for Narbonne ★★ Upto : 0.03 btc Per Week [OPEN SR+] on: September 18, 2017, 03:24:50 AM

There's an extra character in that address which is the letter "l" at the end as that can't be part of any bitcoin address.
The link should be :
https://blockchain.info/address/19MMLUfRJRnRwvAMv8wnChLDx3XiFez7RF

Good Luck
Thanks for pointing that out,fixed!

Joel_Jantsen, I applied the avatar.  I'd also like to say props for taking a hardline approach to acceptance into your campaign here.  Take no bullshit from these cretins.
Thanks man! You know how it should be!
1714  Economy / Reputation / Re: Low quality hindi translation on: September 17, 2017, 12:27:16 PM
And I can see for myself how you disrespect the Hindi language yourself.

And if you have any proof regarding my work being fake or like his, then kindly submit the proof rather than just talking and insulting.
1715  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: fitness apps that accept bitcoin on: September 17, 2017, 12:24:24 PM
so lately I have been using myfitnesspal , which is a great app to track your meals , exercises and other fitness stuffs
there is a free version and premium version , so I was wondering if there is a similar app that accept bitcoin as a payment method for premium
also if you know a service that can do the exchange , like they buy you premium accounts and you pay them in bitcoins
Hows that working out for you ? Forget about fitness apps using bitcoins, does any body buy premium versions of any fitness apps ? I highly doubt it.

You can easily buy a google play gift card  or itunes code with bitcoin and redeem in to in app purchase.
Paxful and Gyft are highly popular options for them.
You can buy the App with that but does it also mean you can do in App purchases with the same methods ? Doesn't that depend on the developer and not google ? Yes it does!

OP,if you look at the graph, out of 100 gym bros,50 download the app,10 use the premium version and out of those 10,1 likes to pay with bitcoin. Not worth their time to integrate a wallet.
1716  Economy / Reputation / Re: Low quality hindi translation on: September 17, 2017, 12:16:38 PM
lol look who's talking ? It's ironic that I have seen your Hindi translations and trust me,they are no-where close to actual Hindi. Doesn't make  a big difference between his and yours.I know you might see him as a potential competitor in your business but you need to judge thyself before pointing fingers around.'
Okay I go now,not my  business anymore.
1717  Economy / Services / Re: ★★ Signature Campaign for Narbonne ★★ Upto : 0.03 btc Per Week [OPEN SR+] on: September 17, 2017, 12:12:41 PM
Hi Joel,
Could you please tell me whether I'm accepted , rejected or still unreviewed?
The spreedsheet my dear,it says it all.

Nice initiative.

I didnt decided about DB server yet.
MongoDb is not bad. Also depends on what language you're using as middleware.I suggest checking out Couch/Pouch Db.I didn't see no running instructions at the moment.Does it work or anyway to run it locally ?
Go is a descent choice but scala would do wonder in the stack you have defined.TDD based development gives me organisms.I wish I could contribute but I'm not familiar with GO and don't have much time to invest into learning it.
1719  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain API generating invalid address? on: September 17, 2017, 12:04:05 PM
What is the code that you are using to generate an address?

Have worked it out, Feel very stupid! Was a text-transformation to UPPERCASE in my css. Smiley
Sorry to post the comment when your problem is resolve but I'm curious to know what was the exact issue ? How can a text-transformation in your css can affect your logic in JavaScript (hope your paid script is using that).I don't see the co-relation here unless you're exporting the div's or adding classes through JS
Do you mind posting function that gets the data from the API ? Please don't reveal if it's not safe on the security side for your app. Thanks!
1720  Other / Meta / Re: Possible fraud? on: September 17, 2017, 11:54:22 AM
I received this as an unsigned email:
Dayem!! This shit is on another level. This dude's clearly an opportunist!
Like hilaraiousandco said report the PM to the mods and I hope theymos issues a public warning against such fake mails.Hey you should have the email address of the sender in your mail-box right ? Please disclose the email address.

*Another reason to keep your email id's private on bitcointalk.
