rock on!

People always get funny when money is involved...

If I wanted to buy stock or stake, I would put money into the blood sucking greed culture that already exists in the world... why go through all the effort to create another?

I am not so stupid after all. now let's not get carried away...

Holy shit does anyone still use this?

Only loan money you don't care about cause chances are, you are going to loose some of it.

Better off in the long run to just stay away.

Hey can someone help me I started mining few hours ago on the cpu-pool.net and i still didn't get a single share :/ what should i do, I also donated them 2%! I dont know what to do. guys please help

Q2C: GemVae8rJKaS9LLgK3mX3ArtXkRyJKneED

how much hash are you trowing at the pool? 200k is getting about 15 shares an hour for me.

Thanks for respond, yeah my laptop is 3 years old and not the best one  Undecided so it's moving from 0,2 khs to 26khs (but its ususally around 26 now) , do u maybe know when can I expect my 1st share? I mean i dont know if its because of shares or smth else, but it says there that i dont have no workers active even though im mining for hours now. Thanks

I could be wrong but I'm 'pretty' sure the worker won't show connected until it gets a share... still though, I would think that you would at least hit one out of luck if nothing else. Double then triple check your command line and make sure you are sending the right info to the pool. should look like

Code:
minerd64 -a qubit -o stratum+tcp://q2c.cpu-pool.net:3470 -u xxx.1 -p xxx

sort of

I built poclbm-skc from source (xubuntu 13.10) and have never used any flavor of this python miner. Reading through this thread seems like I am doing something wrong cause the miner is showing my rate at 130mh/s on the single card.

Its telling me 256mh/s on two cards... but I'm hitting blocks so I know its working for me.... is it telling you the shares are rejected or just not showing anything? ... because it just gives me the cmd window telling me I'm hashing for a long time and nothing else but a black screen... then randomly pops up telling me I found a block

This is what I am seeing in the console

Code:

Is it normal to have a high reject rate with a 270x and ccc 13.11?

hahaha I LOVE IT!

BUT,

This is no where as witty as your offerings client. I look forward to updates.

1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: January 23, 2014, 06:05:42 PM
I like the looks of your exchange, but I have a problem when entering numbers in the sell/buy fields. About half of the numbers I type are not registered. So for example I type 0.00002850, but in the form it becomes 0.00250.

Also, I would like to see direct links to exchanges. Now they are all "https://poloniex.com/exchange", but I would like to have something like "https://poloniex.com/exchange/BTC-GLB".

HA same here with the missing key strokes... thought I lost my mind
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C-QubitCoin] Q2C-new secure hashing (cpu only)please read pool update!! on: January 19, 2014, 03:56:33 PM
So the start with this coin is one of the fairest I've ever seen. Because more important than the preannouncement is, that the first blocks are paid nothing so that the diff can adjust and everyone brings his maschine in work. So there were 9 hours of blocks with only 1QBIT reward.

Sure, there are some guys (or addresses) which have a couple of 100 000s on it. But they didn't just point their big mining rig for a couple of minutes to QBIT.

I am optimistic. I mine solo now but like to buy some from a whale. But no, I am not paying 0.01 for 1000QBITs which I mine with my laptop in 5hours... Somebody has reasonable offers?

Agreed. Still north of 90m on a pool that is not paying out. I've moved... I wonder how long it will take for the internets to wake up and realize they are not getting paid?

Good question. Still a lot of hash connected to cpu-pool
