362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash setup question on: November 12, 2020, 09:29:01 PM
You should see it in your nicehash account through the website. No idea about your main pc as you havent really given any details about it or how you are viewing the slave pcs etc etc.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash setup question on: November 12, 2020, 09:25:14 PM
Will IT connect to my Main gui that way?

What gui are you referring to? You nicehash account? Or your “master” pc?
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash setup question on: November 12, 2020, 05:16:24 PM
Yea pretty much.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash setup question on: November 12, 2020, 01:40:40 PM
What mining software are you using?

Just the best possible.
Was useing claymore om another site.
But nicehash dosent support or something.

Nicehash stopped using claymore as it was no longer getting updated. Nbminer still works and so does phoenix miner aswell.

Going with some GPU mining
Sorry og not explanied good enough.
Just wanted to mine since i have 17x3080rtx computers.

You need to download a miner for the algo you want and then run a .bat file for that miner specifically.

In the .bat file you can direct the hashrate to the nicehash server and your nicehash account.

It would be a lot easier just to run NHOS or windows and NH miner.

since when proof of ownership clear the intentions of scamming ? Cheesy

Good point. It never a full proof way but can certainly ease some peoples apprehension.

Bitshopper.de is in germany and sells the best stick miner there is. The Gekkoscience Newpac. Or if you want something slightly larger (but still quiet) the R606.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash ETH hashrate dropped on: October 14, 2020, 08:02:04 PM
Thanks phillip. It seems a reboot sorted it. Just have no idea why it suddenly tanked the hashrate.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Nicehash ETH hashrate dropped on: October 14, 2020, 07:24:21 PM
So ive been running nicehash on my pc when its not in use to earn a couple of $$. Today I noticed that instead of the usual 40+Mh my 1080ti gets its dropped to 22Mh with the same settings in AB.

Any one have any ideas why?
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - Error During Benchmark on: October 02, 2020, 12:45:38 PM
Could be your OC if you have one applied. Is that the latest version of Nicehash miner? I had this with an older version but since updating its all benchmarked as it should.
373  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Small miner viability question: USB-C bus power? on: October 01, 2020, 08:01:33 AM
I have two USB-C Gen2 ports on my Z370-i but doesn’t say anywhere in the manual that they provide PD protocol. Just the increased transfer speed  Undecided

375  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My S9 Heater version on: September 24, 2020, 05:51:47 PM
^ Guys, I think you mean Power Line Communication,
not PoE ?

PoE is for powering devices with 48VDC power supply via an ethernet cable (Data+Power).

That would make more sense actually. I didn’t even think of that option when I was looking into how to make the heater more moveable.
376  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My S9 Heater version on: September 24, 2020, 03:43:11 PM
I looked into POE but with limited sockets in my house it wasn't worth the extra expense to set up a whole system. The lan bridge was only £12 and works great all over the house so in my eyes it was a great buy.
377  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS: open-source mining firmware [S9, T1]. New release includes AsicBoost on: September 22, 2020, 12:22:27 PM
Not sure if this has been asked before but is there any way to stop the fans doing the initial fullspeed ramp up?

Currently running from SD card, would writing it to NAND help?

EDIT:Also, how long does it take to flash new firmware? I used the web package option on the main website and selected flash new firmware through the GUI. Its been saying its doing it for the past 20minutes.
378  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My S9 Heater version on: September 22, 2020, 12:17:07 PM
I was wondering if a spacer between the fan and the chassis might help things a little even in the orientation I have it.

I would love to have the boards you have but I remember you saying the MOQ was 600 boards which was a bit of a joke really.
379  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My S9 Heater version on: September 22, 2020, 06:12:54 AM
Is the fan a push or a pull?

Its pulling from front to back.
380  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My S9 Heater version on: September 21, 2020, 07:37:49 PM
Seeing as this is the space heater thread, I thought I would post mine:-

S9 13.5Th, single fan, dust filter on the front, custom cables, side mounted psu thanks to a side panel from another S9 chassis. Also an RJ45 wifi bridge with wide range voltage input so can work over wifi and be powered from the psu directly.

Running Braiins OS and getting 9.6Th at 760w at the wall. If my math is correct its 79w/Th which isnt too bad.
