Mine gets hot in one area around the mosfets(?) at the same end as the fan. I bought a faulty unit and cut a hole in the too of the case and fitted it to my good psu and run an external powered fan on top of it for piece of mind.

Plug one card in and get it to boot. Set 4G decoding to “enable” and set pcie to gen 1. Get windoze to get the latest nvidia driver 383.53 (i think). Then add cards one at a time and get them to mine properly with LOW overclocks and power usage.

I have a similar issue but my third 1070ti would cause the system to restart. Had to clock it lower than the first two.

My 1060’s would get 22.8 each on +625 mem +150 core 60% power.

Im from the UK and run an S9 a few months back. You will need a server psu and breakout board or bitmains APW3(or current variant) to power it. The lead is a standard “kettle lead” (c13 type i think) with obviously the UK plug on one end (which should already be fitted and maplins do stock them).

You can run it from a standard plug socket in your garage aslong as its the only major load on that ring. Dont go plugging in another high wattage appliance otherwise you will trip your breaker/fuse.

If you are running it in the garage you will need to have an internet connection for the ethernet port (wireless switch, powerline ethernet adaptor etc).

Also take into account your electricity cost. In Essex I pay £0.13kwh which meant I only ever broke even. Not sure what it means now with the price rise in BTC but I cant run a newer S9 due to noise anyway.

After reading the thread i was going to suggest switching to the mobo onboard graphics. Works for me.

Never seen the power usage labelled as “FB usage %” before. Also why have you not got any mV showing. My Asus Dual 1060 6Gb cards showed mV and has power usage labelled as “Power %”. As already said transfer tr clocks from the stable one to the other one and see what happens. Have you got a monitor plugged into either card? or are you running a monitor from the onboard graphics on the mobo?

Turns out they can’t do anything on the shipping price and offered a very minimal discount. Had a good look around locally and can source almost the exact same box section and fixing system for less than half the cost. Looks like a diy build is coming  Just need dimensions/measurements of the box sections in their frame now

Liking the frame. Im after one in the uk but shipping from paralell miner is $90  Ive emailed them about maybe finding a cheaper method or even flat oacking and i assemble it myself  but no reply yet. I wont need the risers just the frame and fan board.
