1080 TI RIG FULL PARTS LIST

.....

Nice video as usually Smiley. But frame! for 400 bucks is too expensive. 110$ PSU + 6 risers of 5$ and 3 fans for even 10$. So just alluminium frame for more than 200$ ! The cost of materials is about 20-30$ maximum and the work to made it no more than 50$
Frames $100+ is pure price gouge.
hey if you make a similar quality frame for less I'll buy it

Ive said exactly the same thing. Its a great frame but not worth that much. Especially when shipping is $90 to the UK. All I need is the lengths of each aluminium section and I can get rhe materials and build it.

Lol forget a mining specific frame, I just get a small 2 tier shelf that's stackable for $25. Everything gets secured just as well as a "mining specific" frame. Literally takes less time to put together too lol.

Yea ive already got a metal wire shelf with everyrhing on but I would like to specifically build a frame for it all. Just another step to tick off on this whirlwind of a hobby  Wink

What mobo are you using? Does it even have the “pcie_pwr” sockets the PSU Manual mentions?

My mobo doesnt and just has the 8pin EPS and 24pin connected.

1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Nanopool Pascal asking for Public Key?? on: December 07, 2017, 10:59:56 PM
Just noticed that Nanopool pascal section is asking for a Public Key for me to receive PASC payments. Ive never needed this before and mine it straight to an exchange.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Sure can. I did exactly the same as you. Powered one board and the IO board to set a low frequency and then shut down and ran all three boards and IO on a 1000w EVGA P2 at peak effciency.

If you are dealing in smaller quantities I have got $200 Paypal ready. PM me know if you are interested.

Currently doing a trade with chiggz, connection issues with the forum are hampering it though.

Further update to this as i disclose as much info as possible. Currently Coinbase are having some trouble and the transaction is still pending. I will update the thread once it is complete. I have informed chiggz about what is happening.

Anyone?
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Parallel Miner GPU Frame Dimensions on: December 06, 2017, 09:41:40 PM
Hi everyone,

Im looking at making a dedicated frame for my rig which is currently 4x 1070ti running from a HP1200 server psu. Ive seen a frane on Parallel Miners site (frame 6.1 rev2) and its perfect. The trouble is even though I have contacted them and discussed various possibilities its still really expensive to ship to the UK.

So after some research I have found the same system they use (or extremely similar) and can purchase the parts I need for less than a third of the price of Parallel Miners frame. But I havent got any dimensions.

Basically what I am asking is does anyone have the frame and could they provide me with the lengths of the aluminim sections? They dont have to be on a diagram, just a list of measurements would be fine and I could work out how it fits together myself.

Cheers.

Ok what is a good, reasonably priced high CFM inline fan?

All depends what country you are in, what noise levels are acceptable etc.
1099  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What's the max length exhaust hose? on: December 06, 2017, 09:44:59 AM
2 or 3 metres tops. Always best to have an inline fan sucking there air out aswell.

Good luck finding a decent pool to mine with. You will need Bitmains L3 or L3+ to mine it aswell.
