1021  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HP Power Supply Differences (1200/1400w) on: December 23, 2017, 10:32:37 AM
Sounds like a backup plan i suppose.

What does it take to figure out the pinout of something and get it working? Like the resistor across pins 33-36 to get the 1200w CS to switch on?

Have ypu enabled 4G decoding in the bios?
1023  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HP Power Supply Differences (1200/1400w) on: December 23, 2017, 01:50:06 AM
Did you just spilt the 10ga wire by soldering the other sire direct to the ends?
1024  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HP Power Supply Differences (1200/1400w) on: December 23, 2017, 01:35:08 AM
Aaah crap!! Nevermind then. Its too expensive to get one and try to figure out what the pinout is. Plus having to do the cheap method of soldering loads of wires on instead of a neat breakout board. I doubt they are widely available enough to persuade sidehack to make up a breakout board.
1025  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HP Power Supply Differences (1200/1400w) on: December 23, 2017, 01:19:09 AM
They look very similar. The 1400w is a Flex slot and obviously the 1200w is a Common Slot.

So ive currently got a 1200w Platinum DPS-1200FB-A running with one of sidehacks breakout boards. But im looking at a 1400w HP Server psu (part number 720620-b21) and was wondering if the breakout board would work with it?

Thanks.

I might be able to help you out. My conditions with any trade I do are non negotiable. You need to send first to my coinbase wallet and once they have one confirmation I can send the paypal ($34 for 0.0028btc) to the address you give me.
1028  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (BTC NEED). 0.5+ btc need , payment Paypal. on: December 22, 2017, 07:19:28 AM
You have zero chance of anyone trading with you. Paypal is reversible, you are asking them to send there bitcoins first and you havent got any trust rating at all.

Persoanlly i go for the ones with FOUR capacitors on. No particular brand or make as they are all basically the same. They all do a range of different connectors.

Wrong section buddy. Try the “mining-altcoins” section. This is for bitcoins only.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: OC settings for 1070 ti on: December 20, 2017, 10:59:23 PM
Your hashrate will suffer a little but its finding the balance point between electricity consumption and hashrate. As with all the threads about any card you need to experiment yourself.

After i said about reducing power to 65-70 you took it to 50?? These cards are rubbish below 60%. Hence why i suggested 65-70% which ive personally found to be stable running +800 mem on micron memory cards.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: OC settings for 1070 ti on: December 20, 2017, 09:52:20 PM
Crank yoiur power down to 65-70 and see how stability goes. Increase by 5% until stable
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: OC settings for 1070 ti on: December 20, 2017, 06:13:34 PM
Dude. There are loads of threads about OC settings and there isnone about the 1070ti specifically. Try reading the other posts before cluttering up the forum with superfulous questions.

Hi what would’ you go with out the two mb
I see the PRIME Z270-A as 7 pci-e slots
Where as the Z270-p only 6 iv looked on Asus
And compared the two the Z270-A seems to offer more then the Z270-P
Don’t no if it’s need but I can get both at the same price so what would be best
I think Z270-A but would like bit of  confirmation from some one that no more then me
Or can any one recommend any other Asus mb
Don’t won’t the Asus mining mb as it to costly and not looking to run more the eight cards
Thanks for any info

You can connect 11 gpu's with Z270A

Warning!!!! The video sucks!!! m2 slots do not apply additional power!!!!

You need to watch the video again. The m.2 to pcie adaptor has its own power from the 4pin floppy plug to sata (in this case). I have different m.2 boards with 4pin molex adaptors.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Powerline on Afterburner on: December 19, 2017, 09:01:05 AM
Post a pocture up. Mine vary 2-4% constantly anything much more than 5-7% then you may have to look into whats causing it. Why are you using 2x650w when you could use a better quality 1200w? Or even a cheaper server psu?
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: overclocking gigabyte 1070 ti on: December 19, 2017, 06:57:13 AM
On my evga 1070ti SC cards i have the following:-

65% Power
75c max temp
+150 core clock
+800 mem clock
Fans set to auto

Getting 32.3Mh on ETH and dual mining PASC as a bonus but havent taken note of hasrate for that really. One of my evga cards wont go past +645mem though and needs 70%Power to stay relatively stable. ALL cards have Micron memory so it goes to show that every card is different.

There is no way to find out what cards have what memory. Buy it and see and sell on if its not what you want.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how can i add 19 gpus in my asus b250 mining experet on: December 18, 2017, 05:54:45 PM
Wrong section as NotFuzzyWarm has said. Also if you read the various hundreds of reviews and articles around the internet you will see that to get the 19 gpus working they have to be all the same card (amd OR nvidia).
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: M.2 to PCIe Adaptor on: December 16, 2017, 02:05:32 PM
Well ive ordered the m.2 adaptors ive linked further up and when I sell my usb hobby rig i can get a sixth card and try it out.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: M.2 to PCIe Adaptor on: December 16, 2017, 12:20:42 PM
Im using an Asrock Pro4 z270 1151 mobo. Ive read that the compatibility issue is due to the m.2 using the same pcie lanes as one of the pcie slots.
