Such hostility from long term holders around here. Why so hostile simply because others trade on different time frames than you? I am a long term bull, I keep some in cold storage. Such hating on day traders. Digging for positive fundamentals isn't particularly useful when trying to navigate a short term bear market.
Maybe I'd be talking shit like that too if I was around in early 2011.....

Fiatleak is showing lots of CNY going in, did they fix it?
This is why Fiatleak is useless.

< 2 BTC bought/sold on BTCChina in last 15 minutes........

Awesome, haha.

A couple hundred coins dumped in China... below 3600 now.
|
|
|
Walsoraj, let's get this started already.

On that initial drop today, BTCChina dropped like 8-8.5%. Gox dropped like 17%. 5x the volume on Gox. (just ballparking looking at charts)
WTF....
exactly. house. of. cards. The ONLY thing I can see saving this market is a lot of offline purchases like the one Loaded did and new money coming from the exchange from big hands waiting for an entry point. But those are freaking loooooong odds. If this wasn't going into Christmas week, I'd have more faith. I mean, right now it only take ONE large hand to liquidate in China and the market will crash. I bet 2000 coins would do it. So it was you who said it. Yeah, I am sweating right now....

virtex is a bunch of hodler as well not fair But the dynamic is just insane. Looking at the volume and price movement at BTCChina vs Gox. Someone earlier said this is a house of cards. Exactly right. I can buy back at a nice profit right now but this is.... I can't help the feeling that I will get slaughtered soon after.

I rode that bump from 600-640 (BTCE) but am mostly out again. I don't know what the hell is going on.
|
|
|
I certainly don't expect a bottom below previous ATH ($266), and below $300 I find highly unlikely. Granted, it's bitcoin.... certainly possible. If it happens, it will be over in a flash.

I am not sure that the FBI is having the private keys / passwords to the wallets which they control. I am quite suspicious.... because if they had them, they would have already sold the coins.
Technically it is seized assets and they cannot sell it...yet. Exactly... They cannot "sell-off" any type of assets until the court rulings. This could take a year or two... End of story. TC. Actually, legally, they can (if you mean conviction). Criminal forfeiture is not necessary. But they won't go this route.

Hi all, I am happy to report that I have finished the devcoin.org site redesign: http://devcoin.org/Thanks to Weisoq for his wiki page and whoever created the Devcoin press release that went out a couple of weeks ago - really saved me a lot of time compiling the content. Let me know what you guys think - I will be sticking around as the new Devcoin web guy so I can certainly make edits and additions going forward. Awesome work! Love it!

How fucking dumb do you have to be to try to buy drugs on the internet?
Pretty much. Need to be a lot dumber yet to sell them.

Should have learned my lesson after Stamp bottomed so low last time..... I want my fiat on Stamp!
|
|
|
Wish I had 2 million just to piss that guy off. Damn it. I keep telling myself to switch to Stamp. Stamp getting so bearish!
U still tarding on gox? I trade on BTC-E. I've always preferred it to Stamp, partly because BTC-E is/was more volatile and saw lower lows, and partly because Stamp's trade engine is shit.
