Bitcoin its just a currency and a payment option doesnt have a country running with their currency, and big companies doesnt work with bitcoin value or price to import and export ,soo bitcoin wont replace nothing,it can be mainstream that will be just a way to spend and pay to another person or companie wont rule the world.

Dollar will always be the first choice of majority of the people, even if bitcoin gets on the mainstream we will still see many people would choose to use dollar and not bitcoins.

It will not happen soon. Because there are a lot of people that use Dollar so it cant be disappear, because it is really important for them. We all know that the value will be more worth in the future and that it will be more used. And Dollar will also reduce in using.

Yeah you right. It's hard for bitcoin replace fiat. If this happened, it must be something big happened. For replace dollar, nope, bitcoin can't but bitcoin can stand same as dollar imo.

the real key to adoption is mainstream so if bitcoin become mainstream. I'm sure a lot of people who rely on bitcoin different sense if bitcoin price rose to $5,000 if bitcoin not become mainstream. however high the price the dollar would be the greatest

I think USD is only comparable thing against bitcoin. As we can evaluate bitcoin in USD for exchange. Bitcoin has its own height. If we see future, Bitcoin will be stop generating after halving, so other cryptocurrencies will be used for trading and Bitcoin price will go higher.

Yes I think it could happen but not anytime soon because that is highly unlikely if I'm honest. It will take some time before this can happen because the bitcoin first need to get a lot bigger.

I think it could happen after 100 years, cause bitcoin is making its way on the market and getting stronger day by day as the month pass by.

There is a chance that this will happen but most likely it will not happen because its just too much on this time, its possible on a longer term but not anytime soon. The problem is that the bitcoin is now still too small to do this, it needs to get a lot bigger to even be at the point to try it in my opinion.
Overall its possible but most likely it will not happen.

The chances is very slim even if you go to the future, dollar have been the money of US and they wont allow that a crypto currency to place their currency as it will weaken them and their industry.

Yeah the history of dollar is good and we can find that dollar is used and accpeted in majority of the countries, where as bitcoin is not that strong at a moment.

Only due to the US economy always we make comparison with dollar. Dollar or any currency will not get replaced due to the bitcoins growth.

I dont think that is possible, because Dollar is big and also many used. Many people dont even know what Bitcoin is. And that is the problem. First you must make Bitcoin more popular and after that you can talk about disappearing.

Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? soon? maybe in a 20 years!!!! If you are talking about digital world then I think it will take much less than 20 years, I think within the next 5 years people will leave dollar for their international transactions and in other financial dealings etc.

I dont think that there is a possible way that dollar can be replaced soon by bitcoin. This would require a lot of things and will never happen. Dollar is actually depended by all other countries including mine and so as the bitcoin. Dollar movement are observed by the stock exchanged which makes all business operate..

I just think bitcoin will become an option for the currency, rather than replacing the main currency in a country

The history of the dollar is only known because we always had a war history with other countries. Anyways, bitcoin is not strong to other countries, but people are slowly hearing about it. Western union is aware of bitcoin as a competitor I`m pretty sure.

Now there is someone I can agree with. True bitcoin is a currency/commodity and I think it should stay like that. More people will be investing from it if it stay like this. Forcing it to become a fiat will make it fall.
