The Lawyers are winning.
And how much did it cost so far? Or is it on a "no cure no pay" basis?

it is based on a percentage same as the mtgox bankruptcy case

these lawyers are saying everything if you read between the lines

which is basically it is well known what occurred was illegal and in time all recovered funds will be distributed with a percentage paid for legal work in the recovery

Do claimants have to pay the court fees?

From what I understand, court fees/lawyer fees are taken from the 33.3% that lawyers get from the suit. the other 66.6% goes to claimants. You can also get more information on the case on www.cryptsyreceivership.com

Thank you for the link. Smiley As I can see there is an appointed trustee and this would explain why there is no court fee to pay in advance.

However, I did not see anything about a 33,3% deal. In Curacao, an appointed trustee can not make a percentage deal with claimants and can only claim his hourly rate and costs.

If you want to compare, Game Protect currently prepare the Full Flush Poker Litigation 70:30 case in Curacao. The lawyer is not appointed and therefore can make a percentage deal, but court fees has to be paid in advance, depending on the height of the claim.

The standard fee for such cases here in the US is 33%. Less ONLY if paid upfront foregoing a contingent fee. END OF STORY!

I was part of a medical class action & lawyers got 60%   Cry Cry Cry

I'm currently involved in a non-crypto class action nearing its dole-out stage where the lawyers are getting 33%. The million-plus of us can't wait to get our approximate seven bucks, eight if fewer entered into the agreement because they don't need the money.

"Don't spend it all in one place!"

I just signed up for a cable company class action that was already settled in favor of customers for company making robo-calls.

Can't wait for my guesstimated 65 cents!

this is why this thread is dead and people lost interest . answer me this. when exactly did you become aware of the theft of our money from the company you work for.?
and by telling people everything was fine you were knowingly telling lies.

and what are you doing to help?
or what have you done so far to help?

hate to admit it cuz i wanna see that bastard bitcoin thief in jail as much as anyone here
(tho thankfully i got no skin in the game , just a shit load of empty popcorn buckets )
but like the previous poster said ....
its over rover.

the asshole stole his customers bitcoin because he could and he did and now
there is fuck all that can be done about it, (besides pissing and moaning in a thread like this that you
know the scumbag is reading and then laughing all the way to the bitcoin bank of china)
because hes in China folks, and nobody who's in charge there
gives a flying fuck about a bunch of gullible greedy shitcoin investards people who lost their bitcoins and altcoins to a
greedy criminal cryptocoin exchange operator (except for maybe a few greedy thrifty lawyers who are
attempting to recover a few pennies on the dollar customers money back in a some frivolous worthy class action lawsuit.
sorry to be a cynic and i hope to be proved wrong but currently that's the reality of this whole ugly situation.
it frikkin sux man.

Surely, the receiver didn't skip the same math classes that Leroy Fodor skipped while earning his B.B.A. from Ohio University in Athens, OH, eh?

Further, how the fuck was the receiver able to confirm a hack occurred when the general consensus is that it was an inside job by none other than Paul Vernon?

From what I read the xrp was transferred this year. I don't think it was the Receiver.
