Rune is the in-form player, but in cases like these I simply can't ignore their H2H's.

I like Ruud at 2.40 odds, and I like 2:0 to Tsitsipas against Medvedev at 2.65 odds as well.

I'll play both separately, so I need only one to pass. Hoping they both do, ofc

Medvedev on the other hand is playing best clay season ever in his life and he actually looks ok. I watched a couple of his matches and he had really good consecutive points. Granted he still had some downs and too much unforced errors and I expect Tsitispas to capitalize on that. But I went for more secure ML @1.8, feel like both matches will be really close today.

I wasn't aware that Medvedev's season so far has actually not been that bad. He won four tournaments already, but when I had a look at his finals, I missed an important detail: so far he has only achieved a single final in his career on clay and that was in Barcelona in 2019. He is fully into the hard court play. Since Tsitsipas is one of the best on clay on the tour right now, I doubt that Medvedev has a chance today but he is even leading by one break right now.

it's really a good match between the two and in the second set the Russian has already made a break point.
this time I don't bet it seems not an easy match for a gambler ::)just because Tsitsipas is able to make up for the disadvantage, even if he has a respectable opponent to face today.

Rune keeps on dominating and he is looking like a really good new superstar in tennis. I think he an Alcaraz will be the main thing in the next couple of years. Medvedev leading against Tsitspas,isnt expected but looks like Medvedev will get his first title on clay. If he can continue playing like this.

Finally it was Medvedev vs Runs as the match against Tsitsipas ended 7-5 7-5. In the upcoming tournaments we can expect Alcaraz to reach the finals, if not we can see Rune playing it. The young players of tennis are very energetic and have got all capabilities to play good tennis and stay on the top for years. For now they should keep themselves away from injuries which were inevitable with sports.

Italian open women's final is between Rybakina and Kalinina. It was an easy win(6-2 6-4) for Rybakina against Ostapenko in the semifinals to reach the finals. In the other match it was Kudemtrova vs Kalinina, who is ranked 30. Tough fighting game between the Russian and the Ukranian. At the end it was Kalinina to win the match 7-5 5-7 6-2 and she dedicated the win to the homeland Ukraine. Rybakina is in good form and I'm sure the title gonna be won by her.

Rybakina have won the match in an easy way against Kalinina. The match hadn't looked like a final match. One more title added to the list of Rybakina. She had won the first 6-4, and Kalinina due to injury had a walkover when the second set was lead by Rybakina 1-0. Anyhow this is a good experience for Kalinina and the same could help her perform better in the upcoming tournaments.

I think this is an unexpected final and certainly the loss of a whole series of quoted players has helped the Russian Medveded a lot.
during the last tournament in Madrid he suffered a lot and played a bad competition
This year, in Montecarlo, Rune won the last direct match between the two so let's see how its going to end this final, I am pretty curious to see it.

News from the Italian front. Berrettini won't play at Roland Garros but we have a substitute! ... Fognini! (also called "il fogna" - "the Sewer")

an unexpected final overall indeed. Medvedev did well, getting the job done in 2 sets but
they were 2 close sets. TBH I wasnt surprised with the out come, I have stopped betting on
Tsitsipas, he has become very unpredictable.

Rune beating Ruud was also on the cards, now for the final today he will be hard to beat,
he is marginal favourite 1.80 to Medvedev's 1.99. It will be amazing if Medvedev wins this, to
turnaround his performance on clay from last year and be able to make his mark this year.

It was during the Monte Carlo Masters quarter finals, Medvedev played against Holger Rune. In the match Rune was able to win the match easily 6-3 6-4. In the finals Rune lost to Rublev after a hard fight 7-5 2-6 5-7. We can expect today's match to be close fighting and the winner be decided. This year we've seen more number of matches ending with unexpected results.

Medvedev is in good form and he has the highest odd against Rune. However I think this match to be a win for Holger Rune.

They're more childish in their activities. As a result some have mentioned rain dances and the match have got delayed citing the incident.
Throughout the tournament several rain interruption happened. In the semifinals between Medvedev and Tsitsipas the match got delayed 5+ hours. The latest is the final. After all this, official announcement on the construction of roof have come. The constitution of roof will start at the earliest and can be seen by the 2026 tournament.

The match is underway and one set has been completed. Medvedev is currently leading because he got the win in the first set. This is going to be a very close encounter between both of them. I honestly believe that this is going to be very close and also is going to go to the third set.

Alcaraz should reach the final of the upcoming tournament. After all, he is the best tennis player in the world, and the best is also expected from him. But I don't know if he is actually being able to provide the best right now.

I predicted that the end would be near for Nadal. If he is not going to play the French open either, is it still useful for him to continue as a professional tennis player? It seems to me very difficult for him to keep playing tennis and then, for example, to play at a lower level. That is unworthy of a big name like Nadal. Maybe he should really consider putting an end to his career as a professional tennis player and now focus on training/coaching younger players. A coach from Alcaraz would be great right? Alcaraz also has a good sparring partner for training. He can learn a lot from Nadal, that's for sure.

Medvedev the better player, and also a mountain of experience more than Rune, who actually only just came and thundered through to the top 10 in one go. You see in these kinds of matches that he just falls short. A great promise for international tennis, and after Caroline Wozniacki finally someone who can assert himself for Denmark and can compete with the absolute world top. It is not stable enough yet, but potentially this is a player that can take the number 1 position in the world rankings over time. And nice that a player from Denmark is so good, something different again.

In this tournament Medvedev somehow set an example. As I mentioned before his last final participation was in 2019 in Barcelona. Winning this ATP 1000 Masters is also a message to the other players. Djokovic is still not back to full strength, Nadal won't participate in Roland Garros and Medvedev has now proven that he can beat Tstitsipas on clay at an important tournament. Frankly speaking, I thought he won't make it, but he proved me wrong.

Given that he beat Rune today, the odds are still in favor of Rune regarding the outrights. Rune is around 8.00 while Medvedev is around 14.0. Alcaraz and Djokovic are leading the field by far with Alcaraz being closer to 2.0 and Djokovic closer to 3.0. Whether Djokovic will be able to step up his game so much in such a short period of time is hard to believe, but it wouldn't be the first time that he is ready right when it is needed the most.

Congratulations to Medvedev. He did really well to win this Italian Open. The final could have been a little more closer, but it is what it is. I absolutely agree that Rune is still a very young player. He still needs a lot more experience when it comes to playing in the finals of any competition. And with experience, he will be able to handle the pressure situations better.

Medvedev is still one of the best tennis players in the world, but he does have a distinct playing style. it all doesn't look that smooth, and in terms of talent Alcaraz is a lot more talented. You can't make it with talent alone. The most talented tennis player ever is undoubtedly Federer. In the past, Agassi and Sampras had to work much harder for it, I think. Tennis was more fun to watch back then. Maybe there are just too many tennis tournaments these days? I don't think you can compare the generations well at the moment. Women's tennis is of a completely different/lower level than men's tennis.
