Just wild to think that seats during the Thunders game costs around $75k and I guess for the Bucks too and I think that's where LeBron will make a history passing Kareem. Just few more scores for LeBron for him to pass that greatness but it's still crazy to think that he is passing a guy that only made 1 goal at a three point line.

LeBron got another chance to get a game winner but this time he passed the ball to Anthony Davis who then committed an offensive foul which ended up with the game going to overtime. They still won and LeBron moved a little closer to the record. Westbrook seemed to get a lot of crunch time minutes as well.

That was a lucky break for the Knicks, it's just that their last play was not planned well, I think it should be Brunson who should take the last shot as he is hot in that game, for sure if he missed it, he might get a foul. I don't understand why it was Randle who took the last shot.

When Brunson was still with the Dallas Mavericks, it was Randle who is the go to guy, unfortunately he is not a clutch player that's why they struggle in the playoffs. I think it's always the coach decision that has to be followed, the fact that he took the last shot, the design of play was probably on him.

But nothing that can be changed now, good to see that Lakers wins might be another controversial missed call.

I believe it was not a missed call, it's an offensive foul by the Davis, was challenge and the challenge was unsuccessful.

Hard for me to believe that Lakers won in OT last night. Without LeBron and AD , lakers are really a total different team that can't even fight for playoffs but with them in the court , everything changes for Lakers.

I disagree with that because Bulls were able to play competitive basketball against the Clippers, it was a close game and they could win that game if they made a perfect execution in the last minutes of the game.

The Lakers played well as a team. At a point, I actually thought that it might go south for Lakers. But in the end, everything was all right. LeBron James and Anthony Davis played well. Lakers have been through a bad form recently. And it was good to see that Lakers have won this game. They have not been consistent at all. Hopefully, this will be the time when they start being consistent. Five wins in the last 10 are probably not up to the standards that Lakers set for themselves.

I vote for the Bucks in LA and we are winning the poll.  As long as Lebron could keep that kind of performance like today or maybe more then we will reach it at that game. Other predictions will win if unforeseen injuries will happen but they would not like that as it will be against the Warriors in San Francisco.
I mean, it's better to be done at their home although I know Warriors fans will also appreciate him and it will be as loud as it will be in LA.
Man, I am excited to see this happen. A breaking record that had not been done for so long. We had so many offensive players that passed, MJ, Iverson, Kobe, Dirk and yet they didn't reach that amount. I am sure there will be many stars present on that day with the possibility to break it, just like when Steph did it in New York.

I share your enthusiasm about LeBron's ability to set a new NBA scoring record. This is a major development and a major victory for him. Having it happen in Los Angeles would be fantastic, but I'm sure the Warriors' faithful would cheer for him no matter where the game was played.

I agree that there have been other excellent offensive players before LeBron, but that he is still able to compete at the highest level and set new marks is a credit to his brilliance and longevity. If he does break the mark, it will unquestionably be a watershed moment for the NBA.

In addition, other players may take the initiative, giving themselves a shot at the record as well. Whoever accepts the challenge will be fascinating to watch. I predict that many celebrities will attend the game since it promises to be so spectacular. I'm very excited!

Unfortunately, the Bulls chemistry are a bit off right now, it's hard to pinpoint where are the issues, Lavine and DeRozan are not working together. It's only Vucevic who have been playing consistent in the last games average double double. But the rest are very awful and not jiving, something has to change from the lineup.

I think Luka is next to that, or Embiid, or Giannis, these young players are putting points in their stat sheets like it is a normal day in the office. 
The key for this to happen again or break Lebron's (after he did it) record is the health issue. He is known to be a player that is not lazy to play the game, he loves it so much that an absence might not complete his day.
Luka had his share of injuries, Embiid worst, Giannis though, with that kind of body and toughness, I bet he can make it to the top too as long as he doesn't retire early and find ways to still play the game even at an old age. Lebron did it, I think he can too although it requires being a flexible player. Luka on the other hand plays like Jason Kidd (better) even if he becomes a veteran there will be a big market for him.

I watched something that seemed like a long time ago, when the ball was passed to him (Lebron) and then he drove in when he lay up, you can see in the video that he hit his arm in the air and then the referee didn't call a foul, I don't know if this is Also what you are saying, Lebron jumped like he couldn't believe that there was no foul call for what he did.

Lebron is really obviously depressed because of the moment, then when he was interviewed in the news it was like that, and the referee also admitted that he didn't call a foul, that's why even if the referee admitted, the lakers lost in an event like that.

Unfortunately, they are still at the bottom spot of the standings (currently at 13th) though they are just 2 games behind the 8th seed Timberwolves. I'm pretty sure it's not only the Laker fans or Lebron fans are waiting for this significant achievement to happen. All NBA fans around the world are waiting for this.

I doubt that's the play written by Coach Thibs. It was a poor execution and a selfish play, it could've been for Brunson but Randle chose to do it himself.
He may had his winning moments but that night was not for him so the better choice was to pass it as quick as he could. Grimes and Quickley are also not shooting well so there's only one left who could make it and it's Brunson but Randle attacked the paint without even looking how free Brunson is, Lakers did well at avoiding him to look outside and not letting him have space to shoot. Good D by Lebron. Predicting Randle will not give it back and chose to double him.

Lakers will have to perform better and consistently, if they want to keep the hopes alive of playing in the playoffs. Otherwise, it is not happening. They cannot just win one and lose one. They will have to win consistently. They have had five wins in the last five games. That is just simply not good enough.

For Lakers to succeed, Anthony Davis and LeBron James have to stay healthy. Because right now these two are the biggest contributors to the team. If any of these two somehow get injured, I honestly do not see a way for Lakers to reach the playoffs. They have laid well in the last game. But because of some mistakes, it almost cost them the match. I know LeBron James is going to be named one of the best of all time for the Lakers. But I think he still has a lot to give to the team.

You're right that Davis is very fragile because he can be injured literally because of any touch. So if the Lakers want to reach the playoffs, they need to find a way to keep Davis safe from ridiculous injuries. That seems like a really tough task for Coach Ham, as he should find a balance between getting the most out of Davis on the court and giving Davis plenty of time to rest during a game.

But they still get the job done, because Randle missed that shot on the other end. Maybe Lebron will not get the whistle that's why he opted to pass, but still the referee has to call an offensive foul on that play.

That's for sure because this is a rare scenario and probably one of the most memorable play in the league because there will be another player who will pass Kareem's scoring title and that would take a lot of time before LeBron will get dethroned by someone in the next generations.

At first, I had a thought that maybe LeBron will pass the record when they will be playing with the Bucks but learning that LeBron's just 80+ away from Kareem, I understand that he will break the record against the Thunders.
