Let's make a fun poll, we haven't changed it for a while. When will LeBron pass Kareem?Feb. 4: at New Orleans Pelicans Feb. 7: vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Feb. 9: vs. Milwaukee Bucks Feb. 11: at Golden State Warriors Feb. 13: at Portland Trail Blazers https://www.nba.com/news/lebron-james-scoring-trackerJust wild to think that seats during the Thunders game costs around $75k and I guess for the Bucks too and I think that's where LeBron will make a history passing Kareem. Just few more scores for LeBron for him to pass that greatness but it's still crazy to think that he is passing a guy that only made 1 goal at a three point line. That's for sure because this is a rare scenario and probably one of the most memorable play in the league because there will be another player who will pass Kareem's scoring title and that would take a lot of time before LeBron will get dethroned by someone in the next generations. At first, I had a thought that maybe LeBron will pass the record when they will be playing with the Bucks but learning that LeBron's just 80+ away from Kareem, I understand that he will break the record against the Thunders. And don't forget the fact that Kareem will get dethroned by another player who is on the same team like he was when he got that all-time scoring title, the Los Angeles Lakers. Surely it's not an easy feat to get but LeBron managed to do it anyway and now, he's just few scores away from breaking that record that has been hanging in the league for some decades already.

With only 89 points to go now it's starting to get exciting. In order for LeBron to do it at home and on TNT against the Bucks, he's going to have to score 30 points per game in the next three games. That's his average, so it isn't out of the question. The pressure will certainly be on though as I don't think anyone wants to be on the other side of this piece of history. Still, I'm looking for LeBron to try and put up 40 ppg in the next 2 games to make it easy on himself to make the record happen. It is starting to look a little like it might happen on ABC in front of the Warriors fans though. https://www.nba.com/news/lebron-james-scoring-tracker

Lakers suck right now and will be a lottery pick possibly a high pick next year when bronny is available. They aren't going to blow a high pick on bronny just to keep lebron who will be 40 years old on the team. That would set the team back years. Not to mention they don't have many assets other than their own draft picks moving forward. No way bronny goes in the lottery lol.
Well I am not a Lakers fan but actually a Golden State Warriors fan, so yeah the Lakers really suck, but potentially they did great against the Boston Celtics but fucked by the referee and lost big time, And yeah Bronny James could potentially be a risky trade to take, but eventually, he will be 1 of the trade, and even though it is not in the Lakers, he will eventually turn pro, and if it isn't the Los Angeles Lakers that could take him That is OK because Lebron James is still willing to adjust to terms just making his dream a reality and playing with his son in the NBA, and if he fulfill that this year, I think he is ready to retire whatever happens to him, Well, I don't know if LeBron James is in his prime, but I have no doubt that he is living a great moment in his life, because he is going through several important moments, for example, his possible retirement (I believe that maybe in 3 or 5 years he may retire, this is not real, just my assumption), LJ is winning several records, he is also having a not very good time in the Lakers (although he is scoring in several games), and also I have no doubt that he is analyzing and preparing (or at least helping) Bronny to enter the NBA, depending on the situation I have no doubt that LJ will also intend to do everything to get Bryce into the NBA in the future (which in my opinion has had a great evolution recently).
Eventually, Lebron James will be going at that moment of retirement but we don't really know if it's 3 to 5 years from now, I think teams will not risk paying a 40-plus Lebron James but if Lebron James would likely play with his son as a teammate in NBA I think that will be the time he is ready to give way in his retirement, or will be ready for retirement, because eventually he is going there, and eventually his son is getting into Pro League, and I think that is a beautiful thing about this what Lebron James wants to accomplice,

Hard for me to believe that Lakers won in OT last night. Without LeBron and AD , lakers are really a total different team that can't even fight for playoffs but with them in the court , everything changes for Lakers.
Also , with this W from last night , their chances to catch playoffs are once again in their hands but still , if AD or Lebron will miss some games due to injuries , I'm afraid Lakers dream of catching playoffs will be crushed.
Sad for Bulls too , as my team simply doesn't have the same chemistry between players like they had last year and I think it's all to LaVine as even last night he had a poor performance.
I do not think that playoffs means anything to them at this point. If they somehow get into the play-in spot, and they end up somehow getting that 8th spot and face the first, will they beat them? Of course not, they are going to lose. So, why to go playoffs when you know your team is not ready and they are going to lose? Makes no sense to me, it's better to focus on how they could rebuild, and they could just stay out of it and start working on the team right away. They don't have any good picks, which means that they could do two things to make sure they have good picks. They could trade AD and get some good picks, and they have that big salary gap from Westbrook finally being out of contract and get some other teams bad contract for some good picks as well.

Probably, that was a call from coach Thibodeau because he wanted Randle to take the shot to see if how well he is in handling the pressure, you know just to see if he had some changes while they are still playing in regular games as it's better to know first who are the players that will be reliable enough when situations got tough because I reckon not all the time Brunson will be with the team and healthy. I don't think there were deeper meanings about that last ball. Randle couldn't use the clock good and couldn't find an opportunity to make a good shot. I'd go with Brunson all day. After Brunson, I liked Hartenstein's performance most. His offensive rebounds get too many second chances for Knicks but they couldn't use them well. Lakers were better in overtime though. LeBron made another triple double without any effort. Only 89 points left to break the record. With his 30 ppg lately, we'll see the record breaking moment in 3 to 4 matches. Julius gets a lot of the last minute looks on the team. No way hartenstein gets the ball there. He is really a backup center (Mitchell Robinson is hurt). Backup journeymen center is not getting the last look in that game. Lakers knew where it was going which was the issue. Knicks suck in late game situations.

Crazy ending to that Lakers game. LeBron got another chance to get a game winner but this time he passed the ball to Anthony Davis who then committed an offensive foul which ended up with the game going to overtime. They still won and LeBron moved a little closer to the record. Westbrook seemed to get a lot of crunch time minutes as well.
That was a lucky break for the Knicks, it's just that their last play was not planned well, I think it should be Brunson who should take the last shot as he is hot in that game, for sure if he missed it, he might get a foul. I don't understand why it was Randle who took the last shot. Randle, as I observed him, he wanted to be the go-to guy of the team. I also consider that it should be Brunson to take that last shot as he got a much better percentage, and he's not new in carrying a team. Remember when Luka was out during the semis against the Sun's this man really help the team to win games and not to allow Suns to take advantage of them. But nothing that can be changed now, good to see that Lakers wins might be another controversial missed call. The Lakers played well as a team. At a point, I actually thought that it might go south for Lakers. But in the end, everything was all right. LeBron James and Anthony Davis played well. Lakers have been through a bad form recently. And it was good to see that Lakers have won this game. They have not been consistent at all. Hopefully, this will be the time when they start being consistent. Five wins in the last 10 are probably not up to the standards that Lakers set for themselves. Fair point but I have to way that the Lakers somehow got lucky this night because the Knicks are out of their form lately and it's quite surprising that Randle took that shot because it's been proven that he is not a clutch player. Yes, he's quite reliable to shoot whenever the team needs him but under pressure? He's not the go-to-guy for the Knicks, that is why a lot of people has been left wondering why he was chosen to have the ball in the most crucial seconds.

I don't get your post, didn't you read it carefully? I wasn't talking about last ball when I mentioned Hartenstein. He played great whole game, if you watched the game you'd understand. Especially in last quarter he grabbed too many offensive rebounds and created second chances but other Knicks players failed to use them. They could've won the game without going to overtime. This is what happens when you hit only 7/34 behind the 3-point line.

Remember when Luka was out during the semis against the Sun's this man really help the team to win games and not to allow Suns to take advantage of them. When Brunson was still with the Dallas Mavericks, it was Randle who is the go to guy, unfortunately he is not a clutch player that's why they struggle in the playoffs. I think it's always the coach decision that has to be followed, the fact that he took the last shot, the design of play was probably on him. But nothing that can be changed now, good to see that Lakers wins might be another controversial missed call.
I believe it was not a missed call, it's an offensive foul by the Davis, was challenge and the challenge was unsuccessful. But if you look at the game, Randle is not shooting very well, and that is why he is being criticize in this game. So not sure if this is a good play for coach Thibodeau to give Julius the ball and obviously Lakers know where it is going as he was double team in that last play. Might be a better option for Brunson though, but it is what it is. Lakers escape with a big victory and Lebron is closing on that record. Lots of game in for tonight, 76ers vs Magic might be very interesting and see if Magic can repeat it again.

If ever the pressure is too much like what happened to Steph before breaking Ray Allen's 3 points made, I bet the DubNation will be respectful enough for achieving such a great achievement and stand in their seats to celebrate it. Although I like it to be broadcast by TNT for unbiased opinions, ABC might not be that bad. We have a postponed game today. Stranded in an ice storm in Dallas, the Detroit Pistons have been unable to fly home to host a Wednesday night game against the Washington Wizards -- which has led to its postponement. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/35571135/wizards-pistons-postponed-travel-issues-ice-stormSorry for those who made their parlay with Wizards included in it. That's a void for now. And the New Orleans Pelicans were unable to leave Denver yet for their game against Dallas Mavericks tomorrow because of the same reason. How cold is it there now? I hope everyone's okay.

Just few more scores for LeBron for him to pass that greatness but it's still crazy to think that he is passing a guy that only made 1 goal at a three point line.
It is the era where the big men dominate the game so it is just natural that he would score in the paint. And 3-point line was not introduced until he was already half his career. It shows how dominant Kareem is to be able to score that many with just two pointers. That's for sure because this is a rare scenario and probably one of the most memorable play in the league because there will be another player who will pass Kareem's scoring title and that would take a lot of time before LeBron will get dethroned by someone in the next generations.
May take a while but maybe sooner. The way the game is being played right now, the scoring title can be over took sooner. We are seeing high scoring games lately and I barely see games with scores under 100. Stars are shooting 3s like it is just a perimeter shot. If this kind of game continues, a prolific scorer with a durable body will be able to do it. With only 89 points to go now it's starting to get exciting. In order for LeBron to do it at home and on TNT against the Bucks, he's going to have to score 30 points per game in the next three games. That's his average, so it isn't out of the question. . This is very doable with the help of his teammates. Hope they feed Lebron so it will be easy for him to achieve 40 points per game in his next 3 games. It would be extra special if they can celebrate their achievement in their own home.

I've seen a trivia about his stats for the recent game that he's the first at his age to do a triple-double. What's more interesting is that as he's approaching to hit those numbers. How much the price for the ticket will be for every close possible game that he'll make it.

Did you see Lebron James' effort in just getting that foul from Jayson Tatum, he is surely frustrated in not getting that foul, which means he surely wanted to win so badly, right now he is making history because he is nearing the NBA career points leader Kareem Abdul Jabbar's score records and right now he just needs 89 points in making history if he just after that Career record why so frustrated about that 1 referee's miss call for foul, In my opinion, at some point, the Lakers and Lebron James wanted to really aim for the championship and not just get Abdul Jabbar's score record, Yeah, he's should get 30 for the remaining games and he'll definitely there and we all will witness history being mae. Lebron James is so much invested in getting that record, Stephen Curry has gotten the most 3 points in the NBA and likely giving it extra mile in the years to come, I think if Lebron James would landed on that number he will surely still be willing to still play to further add to that numbers so the next one to likely want to break that record will have a hardtime, passing it, I don't really know the price for the tickets but surely most fans want to watch history as Lebron James is about to break a record,

We are blessed to be witnessing that event where others thought it won't be taken down soon, at least not in the lifetime of Kareem. Now that he is getting close to surpassing that record, it would be really good if he can win at least one more championship he will be playing with Bronny and they will gonna best one of the hardest records to break in the NBA where father and son winning a championship and his son is in his rookie year.

What's more interesting is that as he's approaching to hit those numbers. How much the price for the ticket will be for every close possible game that he'll make it.
Lebron James is so much invested in getting that record, Stephen Curry has gotten the most 3 points in the NBA and likely giving it extra mile in the years to come, I think if Lebron James would landed on that number he will surely still be willing to still play to further add to that numbers so the next one to likely want to break that record will have a hardtime, passing it, I don't really know the price for the tickets but surely most fans want to watch history as Lebron James is about to break a record, I think that his stay won't be anymore about record breaking. If he's able to break a record, that would suffice him as he's already made a history and with his stay. I think the main reason is for him to play together with his kids and that's all. Whether 1 or both of them gets into NBA with the same team, the joy that he's got is there and at the same time the record is still there too.

Its all about record breaking since he could seal up his legacy and leave a good track once he retire. He is almost the end point of his career so for sure all he care right now is to break those records because it can bring all the glory to his name then maybe he can convince the other who doubt that he is the goat. Maybe its only a second priority to play with his kid since this is not big achievement but he maybe want to leave a mark to his kid about their experience playing with their father together.

One more week before the trade deadline, some teams should be moving if they are still aiming for the playoffs. There has been a steady stream of rumors coming out of Atlanta in recent weeks, mostly about the status of forward John Collins. But while the Hawks haven't been able to find many suitors for Collins, their phone has been ringing off the hook about Bogdan Bogdanovic. Per Sam Amick, "half the league" has been calling the Hawks to gauge the possibility of a deal. Half the league badly needs a shooter and Bogdan is one hell of one if given the opportunity. Right now, the Hawks are filled with outside shooters like Trae, Murray, Hunter, and Bogdan. Maybe that's why they are being targeted to trade him. But what do the Hawks need? I don't think they are lacking on skilled players but it's only the plays that are having issues. Knicks looking at Bey To that point, they are interested at Detroit Pistons wing Saddiq Bey, per SNY. The Pistons have had a disastrous season and currently sit in last place in the Eastern Conference at 13-39. Everyone assumes they will be sellers at the deadline, and teams have been making calls about a number of their players -- most notably Bojan Bogdanovic.
Not a bad move if they will, ramp up the number of shooters for Jalen Brunson's choices at kick-out plays. Saddiq Bey is a versatile player who can create offense for himself and can also do defense averaging 1 steal per game. He is a good roleplayer so it will be hard to make a deal that would please the Pistons and decide to let him go. The trade should be something special. They have upgraded their roster when they added Murray, I believe he will be a big factor in the playoffs, in case they'll trade Collins, I think their roster will not be affected that much, probably they'll improve.

Collins will be a bad move for them if they traded the big fella, he is one of the most underrated player in the league, I still remember when he posterized Joel Embiid last season. Maybe what they need is another big guy, I think they need a impact player like Cam Reddish, who are now in New York if I'm not mistaken. But it was also a bad move for him to request for a trade because he thinks he is not getting any minutes with the Hawks back then. But look at where he is now today, and his name also pop up to be also in the trading block for the Knicks, he wasted his talent.

It depends on who's player they will get in return for Bogdan, if I remember correctly, they also have a good shooting in Huerter that they give up last year and yet the team didn't change that much although they got Murray but his impact is not that big as it is expected. Collins? that is a bad move because they don't have any big guy if they traded him. Although you can't do anything if Collins want out of the Hawks. But he is a huge part of the team, him and Young already build chemistry together throughout the years they been team mates.

I think he will also be traded with a big man, if he wants out then there's no reason the management will keep him as it will only give burden to their team. His production this season has dropped, it's only a good indication that he is not happy playing with the team, so better let him go through a trade, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of teams that are willing to trade their player/s for acquire him.
