There's a rumor that Andrew Wiggins might be potential trade due to increasing salary wage of Warriors. They need to trade someone to resolve this and Wiggins has the high chance rate to be trade since Warriors will not gonna let go there Big 3. I don't know if this will commence but I believe this possible since Warriors has really have a high salary cap right now and this is not healthy to there franchise.
They aren't trading Wiggins, if the Warriors are worried about the luxury tax I think winning the championship trumps that. Over the course of the last coue years the Warriors franchise has to be worth 1Billion+ more than it was 10 years ago. Why would you break up this team just for cap reasons. Every team waits to get a squad built like this. And next year they get Wiseman back. I have to agree, there is no way Wiggins is on the trading block. He was a key factor in the Warriors winning Game 5. I can see someone like Andre Iguodala being traded or retiring, but I feel like Curry, Wiggins, Poole, Green, and Thompson are coming back. The luxury tax isn't a big deal when a team brings in 15 million + in revenue at their home games. It's still a business. With aging contracts like Green's, the Warriors need to be careful they don't spend themselves into a losing franchise once their big 3 is aged out of the league. Green already looks like a buyout candidate. Thankfully Poole and Wiseman have friendly contracts (for now). Maybe that will help them bridge the gap to building a team for the future. Their window with this team is closing though. I think without Wiggins they wouldn't have had a chance this year, and I think Green is going to start getting a lot worse as time goes by. I think Wiseman is going to have to develop quickly and become a serious part of this team if they want to keep winning while Steph is on top.

So it's really going to be a problem on how to free some cap space. So we will see, this is just a rumor and for sure Wiggins wanted to stay and continue with the Warriors because it seems to bring his best right now as he had a break out year (All Star and NBA champion).

I won't be surprised if there will be an actual trade for him. He's now going to get the attention after they've taken the championship this final. We don't know what it will be I guess this is an early expectation and we just have to wait for a few more weeks or a month to see such news like this.
Yup, rumors will circulate and with his performance this last season, interest to bring him in will flow. It will depend on the Warriors team owner if how they will handle his case, if Wiggins will be after for the money, Max contract or a good long-term deal should be on the table. Unless he will be wanting for more rings, staying inside Warriors and adjust to the amount the team can offer him, just like how Tim Duncan did when he still playing for the Spurs. He adjusts to meet the salary cap. I've seen those players that have taken the spotlight during the finals and they were traded afterward because their contract expired and as well as a good offer has come to get them. That's inevitable and for these players to grow, they have to accept that since they've got not exclusive contract that wants them to retain with the team unless it will actually come from the GSW management itself that will offer them to stay.

He can do that as well, make a salary cut just to stay with the Warriors and chase another ring. Admit it or not, we are surprised on how good Wiggins is with the Warriors this season. When he was with the Wolves, he was very inconsistent and that what the Wolves trade him. But if he doesn't want to have a pay cut, then I guess there will be no choice for the Warriors management, they could let go of him and then look for other options or even developed their own players.

Wiggins is not part of the big 3, of course, they can replace him as long as the players that the Warriors will acquire will play the system of the Warriors. For sure there are plenty of players out there who are willing to play with the Warriors as this is a championship team.
Wiggins already earn a championship, so he will be more useful to whatever team that will acquire him through trade.
Whatever people say, I still think that Wiggins is a better third wheel than Draymond. I never really liked Draymond and I feel like he was there just because of his passing ability and his defense, which is definitely something they needed and fit the needs of the team so perfectly that they let him be. But, he is a dirty player as we all know, he always uses his brain to find the weakest spot and tries to get away with many things. Dude could be the main reason why they lost 2016 title as well, he kicked everyone in the league, got punished and missed a finals game. So, I have to say that Curry-Klay-Wiggins sounds a lot better to me.

Seriously, the contract is until the year 2026 of Thompson and Green? I imagined it would go until 2025. I have no doubt that Poole has valued himself a lot this season, especially in these playoffs, I have no doubt that he could receive a great offer in the future!

No, that's not right. Thompson's contract expires after the end of the 23/24 season, while Green's contract expires after the end of the 22/23 season, and he still has a player option for the 23/24 season. Regarding Wiggins, he was one of the main contributors to the Warriors' win and the second candidate for the MVP finals award. So it's unlikely the Warriors will want to let him go. Imho, Wiggins is more valuable to the team than Green.

A lot of players will try to be traded in the Warriors team for a chance to win a championship this next season so it's a choice for the bench to be cut in salary and be part of a high chance to be a champion again or be released and management looking out for a cheap player with high value. Here is a statement of Bob Myers. (Warriors GM) "I mean, thankfully work for an ownership group in Joe [Lacob] that has committed all kinds of resources to winning," Myers said before the start of the 2022 NBA Finals. "And I know that because every time I asked him about roster and strategy, it's always winning. ... He just wants to win. And we've spent a lot and we've kept all the players we want to keep, so I don't see that changing."

I know we do have a different perspective in terms of weighting who's more valuable from each player who is inside the warrior's roster, but talent wise I will agree that Wiggins is much valuable than Green but influenced and experience wise, I will stick with Green. The impact of Green is something that the whole team needs. He has the noises voice that can move everyone to rotate in both defense and offense.

Yes, I have no doubts about that! I believe the only player that is nearly ""impossible"" to trade is Curry. The others teams will need to offer something very valuable in return. Curry is in an excellent phase and is already 34 years old, I also don't know if he would like to go to another team. Players + chemistry + excellent coach makes a perfect mix! Especially in the Warriors, where several players have been playing together for a long time. Proof of this is the chemistry between Curry + Thompson + Green + Iguodala (especially Curry and Thompson)

Draymond and Thompson will remain in the team, only Wiggins will likely be traded so they can increase the salary of players like Poole and will have more backup. I think there will be no one vs one trade, it's probably 2 to 3 players in exchange for Wiggins.

So many rumors lurking around after the championship win by the Warriors. One of them is cutting the luxury tax. This will not be easy for the team to let go some of their players as they really did great in their run to achieve the best ending. And, they have rookies who are proving worthy to be kept. Kuminga especially who might be their next key if they want a back to back championship. We know their weak point is the paint but with Kuminga gaining more experience they may patch that big hole that had been missing in the team. A backup player for Draymond and Looney.

I can understand that the Warriors are already bleeding with a huge luxury tax this season and it will only grow bigger if they will not sacrifice some of their key players. Jordan Poole's contract is still not expiring. But nearly half of its roster contracts are expiring and some of them are important like Looney, Payton II and Porter. I can think of the year when Dallas Mavericks became champion. But ended up losing Tyson Chandler the next season due luxury tax.
It is sad letting go on Wiggins and Looney. But maybe they can re-sign Looney if Wiggins is out. Although we really do not know how high can the other teams offer Looney considering his 5 season finals experience and his 3 rings. Payton II maybe stolen to. Despite his low playing time, his accuracy is just too good to ignore.
Few years ago when Chased Center was still under construction, a Warrior officer mentioned in a video that they are planning to keep the splash brothers in San Francisco in their whole careers. It also says that both Steph and Klay will also be included in their stocks which means they are also co-owners.

Kuminga is good but he does not play the Center position, they need a center who can defend the paint and we saw that even Looney is not enough to defend the bigs of their opponent. They need someone that is healthy and who can play defense consistently, I think that's their focus for the next season to come.

With the way they played this season, if the issue with salary cap got resolved, I guess, or for me, they should not let anyone to go, Kuminga might not have his impact during the playoffs but we have seen this young rookie and with Wiseman, the duo can help the shooters providing additional threat inside. A lot of rumors that will continue to circulate and knowing how the process there's no guarantee for anyone aside from those stars who already have their contract being signed, unless a something happens along the way those contracts will remain intact.

He changed the playing styles and tactics in the NBA. Levelling up his teammates. There is no one in history who can come close to him when it comes to three-pointers and free throws. Not only these; playmaking is on a whole other level when it comes to leading the team. He did not leave the team when he saw the bottom. An incredible winner (4 titles in 8 years and all with the same team). Extremely charismatic and cool. He has never been the subject of unnecessary tabloids. He is constantly told by his wife that he is a wonderful husband and a wonderful father. He never acted silly and never humiliated anyone. You Are A Wonderful Thing Chief!

Looney is fine he just has some bad timing like everyone else had in the worse play but right now I think they will go for a young guns Center position to further strengthen their team and win back-to-back championships. since they are completely back as a team when were they dominated the league a few years ago, They really need to train some new rookies to completely have a strong team throughout the decade.

They will keep the Warriors big 3 no matter what. Draymond and Thompson will remain in the team, only Wiggins will likely be traded so they can increase the salary of players like Poole and will have more backup. I think there will be no one vs one trade, it's probably 2 to 3 players in exchange for Wiggins.
Curry, Thompson and Green is the Warriors' great trio!! I believe Wiggins can be traded (if I'm not mistaken, even though he shows intentions of wanting to stay on the team), or even Jordan Poole, although he proved to be a gem for Warriors and that he can be polished, improving even more his performance and future!

They need someone that is healthy and who can play defense consistently, I think that's their focus for the next season to come. Let alone that part and who to let go, I feel like a team that has a brand new stadium and a new championship (4th in 8 years) wouldn't really be making that much loss would they? I mean even if they make a loss in the seasonal way, their value must be going up. So, on paper you may lose 100 million in a single year, but could make 250 million increase to your teams value for example and that would be good. I still do not know Warriors financial situation, but luxury tax, especially when it is a repeat thing, does make it hard for teams to continue. Considering they have plenty of players that are getting the max, it is going to be pretty difficult for them to get under.
