When Lebron is back, things will change and it will be his style that will be implemented. Although Lebron is just a player but he only acts as a couch sometimes, it's not too obvious though but that's what I'm seeing. Good job by the Lakers, winning is very important for them to be in the playoffs spot.
You are probably right. The rotation will change back to what it was before when Lebron is back in the rotation. Hopefully, even if he comes back, the ball movement will not be gone. I know he needs to chase stats and score to be the number 1 all-time scorer, but I hope he put prioritize winning rather than his stats.

Let's hope but I highly doubt it will change. Knowing Lebron, he always had his way followed by his teammates, remember that he is not an ordinary player, he can even influence to fire a coach which makes him think he is a God in the NBA. I have no hate for Lebron, I know he is a great basketball player but forget about everyone touches the ball as Lebron's way is always implemented.

The Lakers won thanks to that lack of ball rotation from them. Plus, AD is superb today as he leads the team with 37 points and 18 rebounds.
This is the Lakers that I want to see, transition plays, everyone touching the ball to get their rhythm, and letting everyone contribute on both ends of the floor.
They did a great job even without Lebron, I hope this continues.

By the way, Warriors loss again.  Grin

Yes, the Warriors have lost again, although I didn't ride with them but I'm on the Kings side and fortunately, it's a win for me.

However, I only got 1/2 because I thought that the Durant lead Nets, who is very hot as of late will just torch the Lakers without Lebron. But it was a different Lakers that we have seen in this game, maybe they are in desperate move right now and will have to win and they deliver in this game against Brooklyn.

I was also one of those who was surprised by the performance of the Lakers without LeBron James, especially AD, who played very well! Westbrook also had an interesting performance and managed 14/12/6 in 28 minutes.
Brooklyn Nets, it happened as expected, Durant had a relevant game and was the highest scoring player on the team, but unfortunately it wasn't enough for the Nets to beat the Lakers.

The Lakers desperately need LeBron, but it's obvious that he should fully recover first. Otherwise, he risks aggravating his injury again. So it would be quite expected if he missed the upcoming game against the Nets. Of course, we can't rule out that it might be a close game, although I'm more inclined to think that the Lakers could lose their 6th game in a row.

LeBron still missed this game, but the Laker managed to win and break his losing streak. This is only the third victory for the Lakers. Anthony Davis scored 37 points + 18 rebounds, Walker 25 points, overall the game was pretty good, when I watch these games I don’t understand how they managed to lose 10 games out of 13. Sacramento beat Golden State it was again a close game and Sacramento wins on character.

That will actually continue until LeBron comes back.
I do really feel like LeBron is depriving everyone to play their full potential, especially when he plays ISO ball, he's killing the ball rotation and the momentum.
I know he always plays like this all throughout his career, but he's old enough to carry a team now and the Lakers will not adopt to his kind of play.
Maybe the Nets are not playing well tonight, but the Lakers did a pretty good job to execute a good offense and defense.

Ball rotation, not too many dribbles. I just hope that they learn on the Jazz are playing because they are playing like they are dancing, and they are in sync. Passes everywhere, that's why they are on the top when it comes to assists and if you are up against them, you will be having a hard time for them (though they lost against the Sixers tonight).

Lakers played well and maybe a thumbs up for them. As for the Nets, what they are lacking is a secondary offensive player that will help KD run the offense. Him alone isn't enough obviously and they need another one. Kyrie can't play still and Simmons being there is still helpful because he can still create a play for his team. Overall, a good win for the Lakers.

Warriors lost again unfortunately. I don't know what's happening with them at this moment. Maybe they are still experimenting but nevertheless, they lost.

Agreed with you I really like watching the Utah Jazz now, then with their last season Jazz, and watching them is like watching the Golden State Warriors play, ball rotation and all, and the movement was really not limited and many can shoot threes, it was like what you have said they are like dancing,

Well, the Lakers without Lebron are doing great in my opinion maybe the true boulder for them was really Lebron James, that kept them from outperforming Lebron because they don't want to outshine Lebron for the team, but this is just my assessment, I want to see if they can get a good win against the Piston, or the Sun, but I really think Lebron James will now play next game,

It was a very different Los Angeles Lakers Loonie Walker just stepped up so much for the team, and so did Anthony Davis that was on the Lead for the game, surely they don't want to give the ball so much on Kevin Durant, I think it was an awesome rotation the coach really did he surely used the rest of the teams to play for the game, getting them to experience in this crucial game is the right choice, I really don't hate Lebron James, but it seems the Lakers is performing great without him,

That’s the thing about good players and bad players, if you keep the good players at a low level then they are not as good as you might think. For nearly a decade Lebron was the best player in this team and during his Cav years (both) he was nearly the only player that was good, so what happened afterwards? Was it like "just stop Lebron and you will win"? Dude went to finals for like 10 years in a row, people couldn't just stop Lebron.

Same goes for Curry now, by logic just stop Curry and then you beat Warriors, but do people really stop curry? No, they don't. Which means Durant is good and all, but if they can stop him, then he is not "that" good anymore.

I also feel the ball stops at him and he will also hold the ball in rotation then stats added when their play became successful. This hurt on other player because maybe they get bored on that situation. If Lakers could win without Bron in the rooster then maybe its time for the management to decide on what adjustment they should do to maximize all their resources since its huge shame if they lose again and will not reach at playoffs.

Well, actually, Lebron is a good leader because he once gives the Lakers a championship, maybe the role players do not anymore fit with his style. I don't understand why the management send their role players after their success in winning the championship, I guess it's Westbrook who mess up with their system and that's because of their greediness trying to experiment to get better.

This NBA season is already crazy in a lot of aspects but for now , Bucks , Mavs and Celtics are the best teams in my opinion with a solid start , great basketball and a lot of effort from this 3 teams every time they step on the court.

Another game for Lakers tomorrow morning but I don't see them winning against Nets who are playing great without Irving but they could play even better with him on the squad...but who knows when we will see Irving back. For Lakers this game is all or nothing I suppose or the team morale will most likely be on all time low if they don't win.

Jazz and Grizzlies are the current monster on West. Mavs is just hype because of Luka Doncic solid performance but they are still the same and easy to counter since most of there play is just rotating around Luka.

Lakers is already on a very long lose streak even though they already have the there complete roster with Davis. I wonder if they can finish strong this season but I believe they can make it to the play offs since Bron is always good when he has a reliable team mate.
Both comments have right aspects but I just want to remind the Chicago Bulls last year. Do you remember how great they started in the beginning of the season and even almost until the all-star break they were doing great. October, November and December, they were doing quite greatly and everyone was talking great about them including in this topic. But if we come to March and April, they were doing very badly and no one was mentioning their chance for going a lot in the playoffs. And they eliminated in the first round. My point is, there may be teams that so fired up at the moment but 82 games and playoffs are a long run. Things change drastically. The reasons might be injuries, team chemistry, star performances and even psychology of the star. Having said that, I agree with the teams you mentioned are doing great.

It's not surprising anymore if he will do that because he already did that before when he signed up with the Miami Heat because he cannot see himself anymore playing with the Cavaliers. That took some time before he came back to his home team. The only difference now is that he's still under the Lakers until 2024-25 but he can still request a trade if he wants to, I'm not that convinced that he will just sit and wait until the franchise gets the right players to surround him.

Also, it's still debatable that he will retire as a Laker because he already said that he will go to that team which Bronny will be drafted.
I believe that with his contract year ending, he will probably go to whatever team drafts his son. There is a bit more time before Bronny could be drafted so I do not know what he will do until then, but I know that he is already not that great anymore and just going to cruise a few more years and let the year he plays together with his son be his very last season and then retire.

I am guessing he is shaping up to be a team owner, which will be awesome if you ask me, we need a lot more old NBA players to become team owners. MJ did it with hornets and he has sucked so far that’s a bad thing of course but Lebron might be different, all these business people do not understand the culture of basketball, I think ex-nba players will be a lot better.

That sums it up, Lebron James will do everything just to play with his son and make a history as the first father-and-son duo in one team before he retires and by the year 2024, Bronny James will be eligible to be in the NBA draft. As far as I remember, any team will be pleased to welcome the father-and-son duo as the franchise will be a part of that history.

Yes, he is indeed vocal that he wants to own a franchise and made proposals to Adam Silver about it. And I do agree that an ex-NBA player might do more good for the team rather compared to a rich family that doesn't know how to handle things correctly.

That is luck, hehe.. good thing you miss betting otherwise you lose your money.
Warriors were hot when they won two straight, but that's home games, they are still worst in the road which is still 0 until now.
What we should do is fade the warriors on the road and bet on them at home.

I still believe that both Warriors and Lakers will make it to play-offs and I'm surely they will find a way to do it.

It's still too early to tell, for the Warriors I believe they will, but for the Lakers, it's questionable for me.

Wow! Celtics are back in that godlike form from last year play-offs and if they keep playing like this and if Tatum keep putting scores like this , I think Celtics has a massive chance again to fight to Play-offs finals and then NBA finals once more.

Yea, and the Celtics are just warming up but it is expected that they will play more impressively because they are now a much experienced team and the fact that they've reached far last season made them more stronger this season. Currently, they are on their 6th win streak, maybe they could surpass the Bucks streak this season.

The playoffs of the East will be epic with Celtics at their prime and Bucks on their prime as well. Giannis is a complete player right now and with his team, they will reach great heights. Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown are also on their peak right now and this duo is almost unstoppable. It would be great if this two teams will end up in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Both teams hold the #1 and #2 seed on the Eastern Conference, it will be indeed fun and interesting to see if these teams will end up facing each other in the conference finals. There's still a long way to go before that and so let's see if both of them can survive the regular seasons but I think they will, soon. And speaking of their game, these two teams will meet next month, and the Celtics will host the game. It will be fun for sure!

Actually, the Lakers still have a good game, but they just can't close games. They had a good game against the Kings and only lose by 6 points. Westbrook is performing well with 21 points and 11 assists. They could still beat the Nets if Westbrook, AD, and Walker continues to have good game. They just need to figure out not having that 3rd quarter woes and close games.

It seems you predicted how the game would end mate, the 3 players you've mentioned end up doing great and became the reasons why they defeated the Nets despite being named as an underdog because Lebron James is not playing with them. I like the game earlier and hopefully the Lakers will remember what they did because it's not about who will lead them, it's about teamwork just like earlier and that almost all of them are passing and touching the ball to find the right player to do the attack. What they showed earlier is the exact performance they need, Loonie Walker could be your best shooter if you will find him the right spot.

Highlight of the Day: Westbrook's block on Kevin Durant Cheesy

The Brooklyn Nets play is just too obvious. Just don't let Durant get the ball and all is well.  Grin

It's pretty promising that the Lakers won the game without Lebron. But in this match they won, their opponent was the Brooklyn Nets, it should not be forgotten Cheesy
The Nets may be in a crisis right now and it may be difficult for the team to recover. I think they have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the league this season. Some matches can be played very well, while some matches can be played very badly

I still believe that both Warriors and Lakers will make it to play-offs and I'm surely they will find a way to do it.

It's still too early to tell, for the Warriors I believe they will, but for the Lakers, it's questionable for me.

I do not know what is wrong with the warriors and why they are losing lately but on paper, they are supposed to be a strong team. Maybe there is too much offense in their team that defense is already neglected. They are giving the opponent too many scores. This season they are 119.2 opponent points per game. They are the highest so far. This shows how lacking they are in defense.

The Lakers are questionable to me too. At the rate they are going, they will not make it to the playoffs. They may not even make it to the play-in. They need drastic changes to their roster in order to improve their standing.

I predicted it alright, but I still lose my bet. Too bad for me, I did not trust my own analysis Cheesy

I do believe he is trying to create a play that's why the ball takes time on his hand but it could be done better.
Example: Draymond Green
Not just that, he complains to the referees often when he felt like it should be a foul. The game becomes 4 vs 5 while he is still at the other end of the floor explaining to the officials. That happens when you are a star and then a veteran.
Transition plays were non-existent unlike what we saw today. It's always best to attack while the defense is not yet set.
The Nets may be in a crisis right now and it may be difficult for the team to recover. I think they have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the league this season. Some matches can be played very well, while some matches can be played very badly
Seth Curry was the key player back in their 2 game wins before the Lakers.
Before that was Harris' job but his 3-point shooting percentage got lower at 34% compared to 47.5% in 2020 with 69 games played.

How about Joel Embiid putting up the best stat line of the year so far last night. He got 59 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 blocks. A monster night. He also scored 26 of the 76ers final 27 points. He did it all while shooting 19 of 28 from the field. They’re saying it was a Wilt Chamberlin style stat line. Not bad. Just yesterday I was reading that the 76ers were trying to work a deal to get Durant to Philly…

Here are my picks for tomorrow's game

Orlando Magic VS Charlotte Hornets

The stake odds for this game are 1.86 for the Magic and 2.00 for the Hornets, right now there are many injuries for the Magic and Paolo Banchero is questionable right now, but most of the main starting are still available and can play, while the Hornets have Gordon Hayward and may return on Nov 16, and Dennis Smith Jr. is questionable if he can play, for me I really like the newcomers for the Magics, and so my pick is the Orlando Magic,

Houston Rockets VS Los Angeles Clippers

The stake odds for this game are 2.80 for the Rockets and 1.46 for the Clippers, for the Clippers John Wall can not play and return on Nov 15, same goes for Kawhi Leonard on Nov 15 aswell, while the Rockets have Jalen Green questionable if he can play while Jae'Sean Tate is injured and may return Nov 20, but for me, the Los Angeles Clippers is my bet,

Milwaukee Bucks VS Atlanta Hawks

The stake odds for this game are 1.59 for the Bucks and 2.44 for the Hawks, right now the Bucks may have a problem because of their injuries, AJ Green may return on Nov 23, and Jrue Holiday was the new injured And may return to Villa while the list of questionable  for the Bucks was Grayson Allen,  Khris Middleton, Pat Connaughton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and MarJon Beauchamp while the hawks got Bogdan Bogdanovic has knee injuries and expected money was on Nov 10, but for me, my pick is the Milwaukee Bucks and could win this

Golden State Warriors VS San Antonio Spurs

The stake odds for this game are 1.31 for the Warriors while 3.60 for the Spurs, Right there isn't any injuries for the Golden State but with the spurs they have, Blake Wesley, Zach Collins, Malaki Branham and Romeo Langford and for this game because the Golden State Warriors doesn't have any injuries my pick are the Golden State Warriors,
