Liss poor game by the Knicks.  Blew rhs 44 point night.  The ending of that game last night was brutal.  Jaylen brunson missed 2 free throws while the Knicks were up 1 point which would have stretched it to 2.  Then derozen with a last second fade away shot to win by 1 point.  Brutal...that's the game though onto the next one.

Alright! Waiting for the games after Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone. I hope my Philadelphia and Dallas bets will win. I need a sign of a better start after having no luck in the last months.

Meanwhile, western teams are once again nearing to match the best win-loss record of the east. Generally, the current standings are still close with only 1 to 2 wins and losses that set them apart from the next rank. This might be one of the most competitive regular seasons in the NBA.

Western Conference is in a competitive season right now.
Last time New Orleans Pelicans gained the top spot then there came the Memphis Grizzlies.
Now they are tied with the Denver Nuggets which we didn't expect when Murray and MPJ were still in injury without a timeline about their return.
Phoenix Suns are trying to be on the same spot with Booker on and off and Clippers gaining more wins with Kawhi and PG13 healthy.
West is going to be filled with star-studded teams.
Lakers on the other hand might have a tight spot to squeeze a playoff spot. If ever it happens, it will be a new environment for Lebron.

We might see again a close competition in the play-in tournament in the Western Conference.

At least from the 6th spot to the 10th spot, the gap is not that much. Pointing to the Lakers, they need to do everything to improve their position before the half of the season as they might end up competing on the play-in spot instead and not on the playoffs spot.

Tough year for the Lakers that when they are now starting to get along, another injury happened to their main scorer that showed dominance before being injured. We can't expect Lebron to carry a team now as his role is now being a role player.

Yes! Bulls 3 wins in a row and I have hopes for play-offs spots again! Sure , it will be very hard for them to achieve it during the internal problems they are facing right now but some of the players really put up a hard work and they bring home victories.

Nets are on fire lately! Winning streak and and important victory against Bucks last night and it seems they won't stop anytime soon.

Yup! the Bulls have 3 wins from the 4 consecutive losses that they have taken, they got 1 loss from the Hawks back on December 12, and it was a close game, and 2 back to back losses from the Knicks that was on December 15 and 17 but have eventually got revenge from the Hawks on December 22, and revenge from the Knicks on December 24, yesterday, and right now Lonzo Ball was out and may return next year Febuary 4, but if they continue their play like this they can surely get back up on the standing and may get up the Raptors on the spot,

Nets are becoming the team we hope they will, they are a super team and they are showing that to us. With a winning streak continuing, I would not be surprise if they will be in the number 1 spot in the East. Also, we have to noticed the 7ers as well, they are also in a winning streak with 7 wins already.

I was really shocked at what they can do now, and right now they have 8 consecutive wins last game was against the Milwaukee Bucks, right now Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving is their main points maker, but the backup of their young guns was superb aswell, and the addition of Yuta Watanabe, Patty Mills, T.J. Warren, Nicolas Claxton, and Royce O'Neale has become a game changer for them, and if this continues the Brooklyn Nets will now be a capable team to bring home the bacon,

Regarding to your 2nd question, yes, it will be the first time in the NBA History to see a father-and-son duo. As we all know, LeBron have said that he will be spending his final years in the NBA playing with his son, so it's safe to say that he will do whatever it takes to get into that team where Bronny will be drafted.

I speculate that LeBron James will retire on his hometown team (Cavs) and he will do anything to get Bronny drafted to the Cavaliers after that, maybe 1 or 2 seasons playing together (LJ + Bronny), possibly LeBron will retire.
And I also don't doubt that by then Bryce will also be drafted to the NBA, lately he's been performing very well and he's grown a lot lately.

Yes, Anthony Davis will be away indefinitely for now because of the injury he sustained. Yet the people aren't surprised by it because he's just too prone to expect that he will be healthy all year long without any injury on the process. Might be possible, but the chances are just slim. Unfortunately this is not a good season for the Lakers, they have a good roster, experienced and quality players, but unfortunately they are having a bad season!

I feel bad because AD is suffering these injuries frequently, he is only 29 years old and he is getting injured very often!

Ayton isn’t getting enough touches to get more than 20 points and they don’t really have another scorer to fall back on. I called it a crap expectation then. Expecting an old Lebron to consistently score 30+ PPG because Anthony Davis is out of context.

Everything you said was right on point about the Lakers.  People have unreal expectations.  You can tell the coach even knows this based on how the rotations go they have to space out who plays and when due to lack of scoring available. I don't think the Phoenix Suns' loss to the Grizzlies is just because Devin Booker is not playing for the team, but we all know how good the Grizzlies can be but Ja Morant is also not playing his 100% surely the Phoenix Suns should win this game with Deandre Ayton on the team but we all know that there isn't any consistency regarding the games right now because he are not nearing the play-offs yet, for me I will go bet on the easy predicted game, I think there are higher chances with them winning,

Well right now Lebron James is the only one that is scoring with that kind of passion, and no other in the Los Angeles Lakers is doing the same as he is seen in keeping the game pace pretty much close in every game, but for me, they shouldn't rely more on Lebron James and Anthony Davis to get the game output to a win, because I think they would pretty much be needing a team play than one man doing it alone,

They surely need to keep the spread to many players and yes a team play is pretty much needed, but I think Lebron James is showing his prime side again, I think he needs to keep on doing it, but at the same time let the other team member to participate and not hogging the points for himself, I think it will come out naturally when he does it, for now, those turnovers is inevitable and it is really common for most teams, and most likely Westbrick is the one that often have taken those turnover mistakes,  I think he needs to lessen that if the Lakers would really want to win,

Well, LeBron James is doing his part during the games, but these days he can't carry the team on his back, especially right now, because he will turn 38 years in a few days.
I believe in most games, LJ manages to score 20 points or more, but unfortunately the rest of the Lakers players are not at the same pace and therefore, it could be a problem, there is no point in LJ scoring 30 points in a game and their teammates manage to score even 10 points.

The truth is that, for LeBron James to be that feared and dangerous player like before, he will need a duo, for example in the Cavaliers, where LeBron James made a perfect duo with Kyrie Irving (I would even include Kevin Love, becoming a trio), another relevant time was when LJ was in Miami, LJ + Wade + Bosh was a lethal and very efficient trio.
Already in the Lakers, LJ was making a good duo with AD, but unfortunately Davis is getting injured frequently, and alone, LJ can't carry the team on his back. Another player that could be a fundamental piece and that would certainly improve the Lakers is Westbrook, thus becoming an excellent trio (LJ + AD + Westbrook), but as I said, unfortunately that did not happen.

If AD doesn't manage to recover in time, I speculate that LAL will hardly get a playoff spot, but if they do, they will probably be eliminated quickly.

Lebron carried the team against the Charlotte Hornets yesterday.
It was all him making good plays or ensuring they could make an offensive attack. It's just that his shoe had given up on him which was supposed to be a sure deuce or a foul if he made it to the rim. He was forced to pass it to Schroder and he did miss the game-winner shot.
It could've ended in overtime where Lebron will surely dominate again.
They actually did great in that game considering how big of an offensive team the Hornets are.
Lakers still have a chance, they are not far away from the 10th seed Timberwolves with 16 wins while they are sitting on 13 wins.
