I have a few Trezor 1 wallets, gave them away as Christmas presents one year, love them, promote them, best wallet on the market, etc.

When can I buy the Trezor 2?

Trezor 2 hasn't been released yet and is still in production. As far as I know, they haven't posted any ETAs or release dates yet.

I've been debating getting a hardware wallet but might hold off to see when Trezor2 gets released.
This is what I am waiting for a release date of when the second one gets put on the market.
So I can start saving now to get one.

Hey all, I have had my trezor for a few years now.   I haven't spent too many coins out of it, but I really like it.

When I went to use it today, I could barely read the screen, it all the sudden is super super dark.   Does anyone know why this could be?

It definitely hasn't gotten smashed, wet, or damaged in any way.

Has anyone else experienced this?  This is definitely the first time, but I could barely see the pin pad to enter my code Sad

I enjoy my Trezor for a while now, now, mostly i don't trust any online wallet, hardware for me is equal to online wallet,  but i guess if someone returned 200BTC to their original owners and now he is working for trezor, i can live with that Smiley

Just wanted to check through a second channel if trezor.io domain does indeed belong to trezor people, SatoshiLabs, etc?

Yes, it is. You can see xbach already mentioned it a few times: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=881412;sa=showPosts

Another source would be reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/5nd56x/introducing_trezorio/ (slush0, stickac, xbach all replying in there.)

Yep, sorry for the slow answer, all TREZOR services are being moved to https://trezor.io. One of the motivations was to limit phishing attempts, since we have owned so many domains. Old domains will still work, some redirecting automatically, some asking you to move (Wallet).

I want to give some quick props to the support staff over at Trezor.   Recently when I went to send some BTC, my trezor screen all the sudden would not light up.

The support staff was super prompt and got right back to me every day.  Helped me out of a  stressful situation.  Thanks again!

Any help please?

Just a hint for debuggin problems: Hitting F12 or otherwise starting "developer tools" can often give more information on what's going on. Simetimes you can see meaningful error messages on the javascript console.

We are investigating the problem right now. Until we find out what causes the issues, you can use the fall-back version of TREZOR Wallet at https://old-wallet.trezor.io/

At what amount of BTC am I advised to invest into this hardware wallet? I understand there is an amount of BTC where after web wallets are difficult to trust. Also, I prefer divide my funds between web and HW wallets. So, what is the amount of funds when I am advised to consider investing into this? How much BTC did you have (if not private) when you bought your first HW wallet?
