*IMPORTANT UPDATE*

I am being told that I may have access to the new support software management sometime today.  In the meantime I need to keep trying to help.

If you have a current issue open...EVEN IF I HAVE PUT YOU ON A SUPPORT LIST OR OPENED A TICKET FOR YOU...I need your email address so I can try and contact you with any updates or questions.  I simply cannot manage all users issues thru forum PMs and forum posts with the increasing volume and amount of double posts and posts which do not provide me enough info to open a ticket.

WANT HELP?

Send me a PM with your email address AND order ID # or quote ID # so I can open you ticket or attempt to update you on your current status.

Thanks!  Cheesy

I have a suggestion. Stop taking peoples money until everyone gets resolved. It's dishonest at best and thievery at worst. By the time my issue for resolved and i was able to buy my bitcoins the price went up 25%. I appreciate that it was resolved but you can't really expect me to be happy or use this service again can you? It was t least the 2nd day of issues when i made the deposit too so Bitinstant knew of the problem and kept taking money from suckers like me who did not know better. That is poor character. Prepare to lose a lot of customers.

We will always have support issues open.  This is the nature of a tech company.  Not all issues are the fault of BitInstant.  Sometimes it is one of the many companies we deal with that has issues.  Many other times it is user error in using our service.  Either way we are working to process these orders but this takes time.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.  Smiley
I applaud your efforts to defuse the situation but you can't seriously be implying that Bitinstant is not to blame here can you? I find that laughable now that i got my money and for those that have yet to get it I'm sure they would find this offensive. Obviously the issue is not yet resolved and Bitinstant continues to take people's money. I'm sure of the hundreds or thousands of people Bitinstant has tickets to resolve right now a small percentage may be due to their error not yours but please do not insult our intelligence with B.S. like this. I'd respect you more if you just ignored me.

Ladies and Gentlemen we are being played by Bitinstant. I am sure we will all get push through but at what price ? We will by all the victims of :
In economics and finance, arbitrage is the practice of taking advantage of a price difference between two or more markets: striking a combination of matching deals that capitalize upon the imbalance, the profit being the difference between the market prices. When used by academics, an arbitrage is a transaction that involves no negative cash flow at any probabilistic or temporal state and a positive cash flow in at least one state; in simple terms, it is the possibility of a risk-free profit at zero cost.

On the Reddit Bitinstant thread   http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1bzo49/do_not_use_bitinstant/  Bitinstant claims they pay you in coin at the value of the  Mt. Gox Avg. at the time of deposit.
However, you could  be correct, it could be a desperate attempt by Bitinstant to recover the $12,000USD they got hacked for.
In that case they "ARE" doing with our money what we are "TRYING" to do with our money.
It would be  a profitable gain, but a huge Pulic Relations loss.

Great, now BTC is on the downswing and the entire reason for me to make this deposit (to get in quick during the upswing) is wasted

I imagine they will magically "fix" the orders now that the correction happened and we will be fucked

I tried to do a Dwolla -> Bitcoin address transaction yesterday.

It was the first time that I attempted to transfer out of Dwolla so Dwolla asked me a bunch of security questions - which I got correct, and Dwolla verified.

BitInstant's status said it tried to verify the Dwolla transfer several times and failed.  I sent an email to BitInstant support but didn't get a response.

Am I safe to assume the transaction won't go through and I can just do it again fresh?

I deposited cash 11 days ago, and have seen little to no progress on my order. I contacted support saying what my problem was, and still basically no progress.
I would just like to be helped, this service seems to be very untrustworthy, and I'm considering not using bitinstant again unless this is all turned around.

I think the next upswing will be just as steady. We're only really screwed if we get out and stay out. Everyone staying in the game now is still on target as an early adopter bonus-ee.  (imho)

It's still too small of a market to absorb 5000 sells real well. It'll recover because the user base is really expanding and once it's made easy to buy, lookout...          It would be nice to buy some more on the dip at the 50% off sale prices.  Hmmmm???

URSAY

I know your working your ass off and I appreciate it but I can't afford to keep sitting around just waiting for the bitcoin I purchased to just show up. It honestly feels like I'm being robbed since I placed my order on 4/7 and its now 4/10 and I haven't seen a dime of my money. What I don't understand is how you can get other people's orders processed in minutes (I've had past orders processed in minutes) yet it has taken 3 days this time and I still don't have my bitcoins. I'm am honestly really pissed with your company right now. The market in steadily dropping and I don't have shit for what I paid for. I'm a reasonable and patient person but waiting 3 days for bitcoins that you say I'll get in under an hour is ludacris. All I want is the bitcoin I paid for but now that the market is falling I don't know what the hell I'm going to do. Please just get me my money now before I have to take unreasonable actions. I've emailed, called your phones, posted on this forum, posted on reddit, and PM'd you and all I've gotten is that I'm on the support list for 4/9 and its at level 2 support. That is not enough for me when it involves my hard earned money. In the words of JG Wentworth: IT'S MY MONEY AND I NEED IT NOW!! So once again here's my details:

I have been waiting since April 4th and today I finally got a response that said, Now....we will "look into it"

That was quite a while ago and now the line has gone dead again!!!!

I think they are waiting for the next poor schmuck to put some money into their slot-machine, so they can tie it up for days....and use it to pay Paul!!

Hey Ursgay......are you on the pot or what?Huh
