I'm on "the list" right?

If you are on this list then I have manually pushed your order thru.  You may see results soon.  Your tickets will remain open and they will still be escalated regardless.  Cheesy

In general how many days Bitinstant is taking to process orders? My request was done 5 April and I got the bitcoins only today, 3 days later: April 8.

In general it takes 3 days? I'd like to buy more, but I'm afraid it could take too much time to receive the bitcoins.

Usually it takes like an hour tops. but there's thousands of transactions recently, compared to hundreds. This is not a normal problem, at least from what i've seen with my numerous transfers over the last year.

After using bitinstant a dozen or more times without issue I've ran into a snag. Money didn't go into my mt gox and apparently the confirmation sent a mt gox code instead. The email also said:

"We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order"

So I had no reason to think that any of the codes in the confirmation email could be a mtgox code. Apparently one of them was, according to Ursay. I tried it out and it said it was invalid or already redeemed. I was told I would get a new code early yesterday and still haven't gotten one. He doesn't reply to my messages anymore.

Shouldn't a new code take like 30 seconds to issue? Maybe like 5 minutes? It's all automated. I sent the code in the confirmation email to their support team because I had no clue there was any code in there. Maybe one of their support guys redeemed it and stole my btc? I was trying to order something on Friday and it's now monday. I was impressed with their support team's quick responses, but now I'm not so impressed. I've spent something like $3,000+ on btc with you guys and was always happy. You guys should try to retain your customers and fix things like this as they come up rather then queueing them up for days at a time. I was trying to use the bitcoins to purchase a gift for someone this weekend and it's not going to happen at this point. This is turning into a huge waste of my time over $40 measly dollars.

There are plenty of companies that sell bitcoins out there.

Anyone that used zipzap and gave me their zipzap #s...

I am about to resend your orders thru manually.  I find this can resolve the issue in some cases.  However, not all cases are resolved in this way and I will need to forward zipzap issue with further problems up the chain.  I will post a list of people that have been pushed thru manually in a moment.

Me too, time is Money!

This your mtgox code. Go into mtgox, go into funding, and add a new code. Paste this code into your account and you will receive your funds ( I believe it is immediate.) DO NOT SHARE THIS NUMBER WITH ANYONE ELSE, OR THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. I do not know if they are able to do anything once it is taken (ursay, could you comment on this?).

In most cases we can reverse redeemed GOX codes that do not belong to the correct user.  Obviously it just takes some time as we need to speak with GOX to reverse anything and then issue and new code.  Smiley

What happens if the person already used it and then withdrew the coins? My friend is going through an issue similar to this and he has contacted mtgox but he hasn't heard anything about it yet. He doesn't think someone stole it, but I figured that it would just be gone.

I'm not really sure what information to post, but here's what's going on with me:

First time bitcoin user. I created an account on blockchain.info, and used their cash deposit process through bitinstant to deposit $300 to my account via moneygram (at Walmart). I completed the transaction, took the zipzap form to Walmart, and made the deposit. By the time I got home I had an email saying it had gone though, but I still don't have any money in my account.

It's been four or five hours. The only emails I received about this (at all), is one ZipZap email as a payment slip and a second email from ZipZap saying it was completed. I never received any emails from blockchain.info or BitInstant.

[...]

Edit: I see people are asking for ZipZap Acct number. Mine is: 491869913

Still nothing yet...

Update:

I just received the funds to my Blockchain.info account. However, the rate is the current rate and not the rate at which I purchased. I placed the buy order April 7, at 4:15p Eastern. Price should have been at about $161, meaning I should have received somewhere around 1.78881987 instead of the 1.46991352 I received. I put in $300, less the fees (will I receive a refund?), so about $288.

Thanks for getting me this far, like you say one step at a time. But what's next? Thanks URSAY

Hey everyone!

I just got home from work and I'm back to serve you.

Just saw that new website too.  I won't mention the name.  Kinda bums me out that people don't wanna do their research about our history.  We are one of the few Bitcoin businesses that HAS a history.  Charlie wants to do everything to make you guys happy and feel like you aren't getting scammed.  Issues take time.  We do our best to manage everything.  We are trying even harder to add the right people to staff that understand Bitcoin.  That's not easy.

So do me a favor.  When we solve your issue, post something positive for us on that other site.  Cheesy

We're here...7 days a week...working to help Bitcoin run smooth.  Many of you already know that but have no reason to post in this thread!

Thanks!  Cheesy

URSAY,

Are we stuck with the rate when it finally came through, or will we be credited additional coin to compensate for the fees and the time lapsed from when the rate has changed?

Thanks,

I found this site bitinstantscam.com, I'm going to post how long it took to get my bitcoins once I actuality get them.
I checked out the site, and attempted to post info about a recent order as well as listed my posts from this forum. Since the website banned me for life for attempting to post and considering the error I had was related to me not entering in my transfer number instead of account number I have to say that now I agree with Bitinstant staff who posted there saying http://bitinstantscam.com/ is itself a scam. I ordered twice from bitinstant the very next day and everything went through instantly. If you check over my previous post you will see I was pretty upset....then worried after finding out about the account number error.....then everything was resolved. I have to say the scam website version left a really sour taste in my mouth. If that website is suppose to be for people to be able to discuss info over orders and is suppose to be a legitimate site then I do not see why it permanently bans you for posting something contradictory  to the message they are trying to convey,

I got mine yesterday as promised, but not at the correct exchange rate. Still, thanks again URSAY. Unfortunately, now I'm having problems with Bitfloor. Ugh.
