The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Holy shit, I have money  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

After a LONG and painful process, it's finally here!

Now do I dare risk doing another transfer  Huh

Edit: suppose that solved that. Forgot that MtGox codes are now disabled  Roll Eyes

Congratulations.  Enough money from new orders must have finally come in to fill your old order.  Let's hope at least some of those whose money they gave to you are as lucky.  Watching this thread is about the same as watching Satoshi Dice...some "win" a portion of their own money, some lose it all Smiley

I may have gotten my money, but that doesn't change the fact that it still smells like a ponzi scheme

Hi everyone!

I see many of you asking about which lists are complete etc.  All of my dated lists are now combined and easily searchable.  We are always trying to solve issues from ANY date.  If someone's issue was solved before yours and they were on a later dated list then it is likely that their issue could be less complex.  I am being trained everyday to solve new types of issues and I am always going thru my own lists to try and solve ANYONE'S ISSUE.

While we have software which logs your tickets which many CS agents work from, I only work from my own dated lists of issues.  Other CS agents also look at my lists and try to solve the issues within.  We have multiple support channels open but I believe we are working towards integrating all of our CS processes into a new and improved software management system.  I want to help solve the older issues with priority.  I am working very hard to be able to do this.

I'm going into my PMs first today and then I'll go thru the forum thread.  Thanks for your patience and understanding!  Cheesy

I would suggest IRC as well for a support channel. As it is technically your support channel  Cheesy

But there were a few people who were in there waiting patiently and nobody is around  Cry

My last 3 transactions bitinstant has sent me way less than what I was supposed to receive
. Its BS I've been using them for a year and now they have problems? So what's the deal? Why do I get back less? I had a transaction number but I saved it as a link.

Hey URSAY or YANKEE

I put in my order yesterday when coins were around $140 and it still hasn't been filled yet. I have also submitted a help ticket.

Maybe if I post on here too, somebody will help me get what I paid for. It's a small order of 170, you should be able to fill it just fine.

Somebody at bitinstant, PLEASE HELP ME.

Please don't sell these coins to me at $200 like you are with other people. That was NOT the price when I submitted my order.

I'm sure some of your have seen GOX's public announcement that they have suspended trading today.  This will obviously effect our ability to resolve many of the back logged orders today.  Sad

Done with PMs.  If you didn't receive a response then your issue is already logged, we already have enough info, and we are working on your issue!

Please stop asking why you are not being carried over from a previous dated list to a newer dated list.  My system logs issues daily and I do not carry issues forward to new dated lists.  Your ticket priority does not change.  Read my sig if you are confused.

Getting into the thread now and I hope to post a working 4/11 list soon.  Thanks!  Cheesy

Ursay, I sent 2 transactions to my wallet address and only 1 got there. I sent 475 and 235 and the bigger one got there but the smaller one didn't. I could post transaction numbers if that would help
I emailed support twice each. Bitinstant and coinapult. This is not the first time I've had money go missing after sending it from coinapult. Will my coins come you think or am I going to have to kill myself?

Used Bit Instant to get coins, as it was highly recommended by a good friend. Gotta say, the CVS method worked pretty well. I felt like it was pretty easy and if time is of the essence (and you don't have a mtgox account verified) I would highly recommend it as well.

HOWEVER - when I am looking at my "wallet" (with BlockChain.info) and the "transaction" history, I noticed a few things that are very concerning, and might deter me from using them in the future. Correct me if I am wrong, but as soon as I receive my confirmation from ZipZap that a payment was made, my order is then placed on the market at market price. I know that volume is a pretty big aspect here since you can't buy coins if there are no coins that are being sold, or to a lesser extreme, there are more people trying to buy coins than there are available. I have been under the impression that while the coins might not come instantaneously, Bit Instant would still honor the price at the time of the transaction.

After getting my first email from ZipZap that the payment was "successful", I received an email from Bit Instant 57 minutes later regarding my "recent transfer". The value at the time of transaction is almost 10% less than what I paid - not cool. For example, I took my $500 cash to the CVS and then did the order and everything - Bit Instant took their 3.99% fee, and then ZipZop to my BeBop charged me their flat $3.95 fee, so the total amount was $503.95, $480.05 of which was used to buy bitcoins at the market price. Using the $480.05 amount that was remaining after fees and such, I received 2.76661085 bit coins - roughly $173.51 per coin (not cool). When I pull up my transaction history with BlockChain - specifically that transaction, I noticed underneath the amount transferred, it says "Value at time of transaction $ 439.89"... hmmm... well... if I divide THAT $439.89 by my 2.7661085 coins received, that means I should be at a value of ~$159 a coin... so what's the deal with that?

Are you asking me to open a support ticket regarding this issue?  Thanks!  Cheesy

People I highly suggest you think twice about using bitinstant again. Then think again. It's all very nice that some of you are getting your issues resolved, but eventually the gig will be up and they will burn all of you. I have been waiting since November for my issue to be resolved. I suspect that I will never see that money. It's not enough to go to court over, though I have spent a lot of time and energy trying to get it fixed. You might get this issue fixed (complain on reddit, that seems to be working for many) but the next time may be the time they chose to take your money. I am not the only one that has been waiting for a long time, that has been subject of Charlies lies and scams. Stupidly I didn't do enough research and didn't pay attention to the negatives bit"instant" was getting. Do not be stupid like me, do not use bit"instant" again. They will scam you eventually. Each and everyone of you that continues to use their "service" will get burned.

Seems rather counter productive that you'd rather just complain then open a ticket with me so I can help resolve your issue.  But that is your choice!  Smiley

Hello all, first time here, and it's obvious I'm not alone. .. I sent bitinstant $400 2 weeks ago today, received an email saying my funds were directly deposited into gox and there was no need for coupon code. At gox, I got "code is used or non existent" ( like I've seen others here have gotten ) . Several emails to Bitinstant have gotten me nowhere . I get passed off, ignored, told my email was sent to the CEO. Since when do CEOs deal with coupon codes and such? ANyway, its obvious to me now after finding this thread that it wasn't just me, which is kinda comforting .. ( ? ).  Bitinstant has stopped responding to me altogether.
Can someone here please save me over 200 pages of reading and fill me in real quick on what's happening and if we'll be seeing our money. Can these guys really just take our money and walk away? Can't the better business bureau or something handle this in some way? What can I do to get my money back? Thanks guys.

Read my sig and let me know when your ready!  Cheesy

Ursay, please answer this.

I made the same type of order, but in my order event log, I have an event that says "Coinapault Order Loading" followed by "Mt Gox Order Loading".  Is this supposed to happen that way? I don't recall it happening in my previous transactions.

Will my problem be addressed at all? I haven't received a reply to ANY of my emails.

Okay since you are going to ignore my PM i'll just post my question/comment here:

Hello URSAY, I have been patient, but my patience is wearing thin when BitInstant caused me to miss a fairly large bubble costing me potentially 100s of dollars. I understand that what happened to my code must be resolved but there is no reason that has to happen BEFORE you send me a new different code for my funds. Regardless of what happened with my first code, you are going to send me a new one eventually, so send me a new one now, and figure the rest out later.
