I tried almost 10 XVG blake2s pools, but problem is on all of them. After a while, sometimes imediately, sometimes after half an hour, or hours, it disconnects. Even on small pools with quite no miners. So I think the problem could be in Claymore itself. Currently I have no pool running stable for a long time found. To antmine or unim absolutelly impossible to connect.

Can someone share which pool is running ok for them, for how long?

So this is what I am getting on MSI Armor Rx 580 8GB OC.

Per card in dual mining mode
ETH : 31.43Mh/s    Blake2s : 15300Mh/s (XVG)
Estimated daily earning is 14XVG
( This is according to what to mine)

Comparing to lyra2rev2 single mining
lyra2rev2 22741.0 Kh/s
Estimated daily earning is ~30XVG
This is based on what I am getting now.

I now plan to keep only 30% of my hash power for XVG single mode mining and rest in Dual mining with Eth.

You must be using the wrong Verge calculator. The daily earnings for XVG with 15300 MH/s on Blake2s is 141 XVG.

http://whattomine.com/coins/220-xvg-blake-2s?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=15300&p=405.0&fee=3&cost=0.12&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

1530MH is for one card.

Confirmed, I get around 1400Mh/s on my Asus RX580 8gig OC per card dual mining XVG on Unimining pool, -dcri 45 currently so I could push up the intensity a bit to increase hashrate but feel 1400 is not bad.

Hi
how to min XVG Blak2s alone?
Thanks
Mego

From FAQ:

- How to mine Decred or Sia ONLY with this Ethereum Dual miner?
No way. It is Ethereum miner with extra bonus coins. To mine extra coins only use other miners.
It would be awesome if you could package all your miners in one and maybe switch algos on the fly

That here is prob one of the best suggestions i have seen on this thread....

Try Unimining, was down for a few hours last night but otherwise running fine...

Ahashpool is stable. And not scam like zpool.

thanks, but unimining was ok yesterday but today no way to connect Sad
And when I have luck miner connects to some pool, it disconnects after few minutes with:

Socket was closed remotely (by pool)
B2S: Job timeout

Strange is, that pool disconnects all my miners at the same time with same Job timeout error.

Anybody else getting a big ETH hash rate drop when dual mining Verge? I have played around with DCRI and it doesn't seem to effect the ETH hash rate much but I took a 26 mh/s hit when I started to dual mine Verge?

Same problem, dual mining doesn't affect my reported ETH hash rate but at my current speed of 480 MH/s reported I've only been getting 350 MH/s average for the last 24 hours.  I had my DCRI at 20, dropped it down to 10 and we'll see how it does.  I'll add more ram tomorrow to see if that could be the issue.

Keep me posted mate!

I had something similar 182MH/s reported hashrate at ethermine only average effective hashrate of 168MH/s. Now testing on nanopool!
please give feedback after your test. i have same issue.
thanks a lot

Weird issue with multiple AMD RX580's
The switches are only working on the first card so guessing its a syntax error on my behalf,
Could anyone assist (only using 3 of the 8 cards here)

epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10  -di 0,1,2 -cclock 1150,1150,1150 -mclock 1980,1980,1980 -cvddc 950,950,950 -mvddc 950,950,950

So why would only CARD 0 use the overclock / under clock switches ? other 2 cards are using default values.

- System
Biostar BTC250 Pro (12 GPU)
8GB DDR4
50GB PageFile
Intel Celeron
8 x RX580 4GB Pulse
4 x eVGA SC 1070

Can anyone help with this, I have tried
epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10  -di 0,1,2 -cclock 1150,1150,1150 -mclock 1980,1980,1980 -cvddc 950,950,950 -mvddc 950,950,950
epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10  -di 012 -cclock 1150,1150,1150 -mclock 1980,1980,1980 -cvddc 950,950,950 -mvddc 950,950,950

Only the voltage on the first card is changed Sad

Hello,

It is issue with AMD drivers. I had same problem with my rig. Cards are in default clock/voltage mode if you do not connect monitor to it. You can test it if you connect monitor to second card, or connect two monitors on two cards. You will notice that now those two cards can be overclocked.
Solution 1: Install clean AMD drivers (without catalyst), just drivers - Go to device manager and manually install drivers for each card. DDU uninstall is recommended!!!
Solution 2: Buy HDMI dummy on ebay and plug it in each card.

regards. Wink

whats the difference? isnt it the same coin? im a bit confused about this one.....

https://whattomine.com/coins/220-xvg-blake-2s

https://whattomine.com/coins/150-xvg-scrypt

wallet hasnt synced any advice?

Verge has multiple algorithms -  https://whattomine.com/coins/220-xvg-blake-2s  is the dual-minable one (Blake-2s); https://whattomine.com/coins/150-xvg-scrypt isn't (Scrypt).

The Dual miner is not optimised well for Vega yet.

why is my verge earning in uminingpool is way off from whattomine's calculation? it says i can earn 6 xvg in an hour but its been 2 hours now, i still only have 5 total xvg earned.

my total b2s hashrate is 14900mh/s. pool reports my hashrate almost the same as my client's hashrate.

is there any better pool alternative?

thanks

the API.txt said that the communication is a json rpc 2.0 request/response. although the response do NOT contains the
"jsonrpc":"2.0"
part which is mandatory according to the specification:
http://www.jsonrpc.org/specification#response_object
jsonrpc
A String specifying the version of the JSON-RPC protocol. MUST be exactly "2.0".
would you update the response string?
regards.

Here is my update regarding my experience with ZPOOL.

Short story is:  Very underwhelming and disappointing.

I threw 60 Gh/s at it for exactly 4 days straight.  All of my rigs are running perfectly.

Total Earned: 1459.10726482 XVG

Whattomine says I should have been getting 592.699451 XVG per day, which should have brought me to over 2300 XVG, when in reality I have earned roughly 364 XVG with ZPOOL.

I'm trying UNIMINING now.   Hopefully my experience with UNI will be better.   I'll report my experiences with UNIMINING after another 4 days.

Thanks again, Claymore - V11 is kicking ass with ETH mining.   I'm getting my best hashrate ever since your last update.

what's more you also include "error": null, in case of success which is strictly forbidden:
error
This member is REQUIRED on error.
This member MUST NOT exist if there was no error triggered during invocation.

API.txt does not say that the communication is "a json rpc 2.0 request/response", read it carefully. Also I will not change anything because it can break compatibility with existing applications that use this protocol.
BTW, don't forget to notify pools that they work in a bad way too, for example, they use strickly forbidden thing, just check the miner log:

Quote
17:00:15:813   61c   buf: {"id":1,"result":[[["mining.set_difficulty","20"],["mining.notify","56d55ebe2c1cbfbb3fe2058e34c25d92"]],"810001b7",4],"error":null}

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Hello guys,

Did anyone manage to user dual mine ETH/ETC + Keccak ? It's works perfect with blake2s but with Keccak I keep getting KC: Authorization failed : (null) . The worker name and password are 100% valid, I did test them with other miner and they work fine. Is there any trick? Am I missing some options?

Thanks.
