He is trying to obtain an IP adress for several minutes until he stops with no connection.

At booting, he is not able to establish a NW connection as well.

I have two RX 470 4GB Nitro+ modded rom 27-28 MH/s
Ethereum only crashes just like eth+drc mode.

UPDATE: Today there were some little interruptions. For example Rigs showing offline/termporary offline. This is becasue i was optimizing server and doing some restarts of services.

Did you also set PCI-E to 2 gen ?
Also make Integrated Graphic as DEFAULT
Tell me if it helped you if not i have one 2 things more.

I have Z270-a Pro MSI - it works fine with 6 gpu so asus should be similar

How did you get 6 GPUS to work with this board? I've spent the last 3 days trying to get 4 stable.  Which Bios version are you using, risers, etc?  I'm about to give up here.

We fixed the issue 4 GPUs, it was motherboard related.

Hello! First of all id like to thank tytanick for providing this free platform for noobs like me and for easy managing several rigs for other people. Will happily donate once i ROI on my small rig.

I have a  few questions: is it normal for everybody to lose wifi connection when running this OS? Once i start my rig via ethernet i cant connect any other device at home to the wifi...

Also, i believe its possible to dual-mine ETH/DCR with claymore 9.2, but remember trying weeks ago and having the rig crash. What miner and pools are recommended for this setup? Can i continue adjusting core to 1150 or is that too low for dual? (i only mine ETH now and its very stable with 1150/2000).

Is it possible to have a mix of miner software on 1 account? I have GPUs better on ZEC and other better on ETH. I would prefer to manage them all into one account but it doesn’t seems possible. For now I have created a second account.

Then, I ran into problem with my SRR. It seems that the rigs from the second account don’t sent their keep alive packages correctly to the SRR and are being cycle restarted. I have unplugged them for now, but I'm seeking a long term solution.

I see two solutions: accounts can share the same SRR or the ability to select different miner software per rig.

i spend 4 days before i successfully run H270 with 6 GPUs. But i have 8 mobo, and today i try to setup second mb with this config, 5 GPU's running fine, but then i connect 6, get blue screen. I want to migrate from windows to simOS to leave windows drivers problems, but now I see that linux have the similar problems.

Known issue.  You cannot specify different settings per rig.  Software/pools/etc are used on all rigs tied to that account. 

In the future smOS will allow you... but they do not currently.  You have to use a second email address in order to use different settings. Then change the config for those rigs to use the second email address.

Correct. Tytanick has made several recent posts that he is working on introducing grouping functionality.

In the meantime, a quick and easy workaround is to simply create multiple smOS accounts associated with different email address, with each email address associated with your "group." Then, all you have to do is make sure the .txt file is pointing to the right email address. I run smOS off of USB drives, and I keep a "test" USB handy that I can quickly throw onto a mobo that I am working on if I want to try new configurations without disturbing my other rigs.

I really like what you have done here, and I've been testing for a few weeks now.  I have no problem paying a small fee for your work and upkeep of the software.  If you were to go on holiday or something else, would someone be available to work on the software or hardware that this is based on in your absence?  I think most miners would not be happy paying a subscription if there was a long downtime, especially some of the larger miners that might want to use this OS.

It's just something to consider, and I'm sure you'll take the correct precautions.  Thanks again for putting this together.  This makes it easy for "just-slightly-better-than-newbie" miners to get back in the game and experiment, or just let it run.

BTW is there a possibility to connect the rig wirelessly ... without using ssh or external monitor... something to write in config.txt like SSID and password would be ideal...
