..snip ..
The next distribution will be releasing something like 1.5% if the linked BTC amount is similar to what was linked in the first round. 1.5% is just an estimation, as CryptKeeper said, the percentage depends (well 1% is sure) on the linked BTC amount at the time of the blockchain snapshot.
ok that's what I thought. At this rate of 1.5% every month, it will be several years before the whole coin is distributed. Is that really the plan? I was assuming that BBs would be 100% distributed less than a year, I guess Im wrong then ... Distribution plan is not set in stone yet. Dev still tries to find a compromise between fast and wide distribution.

This is quite a tricky problem. On the one hand, you want to spread distribution over as long a timeframe as possible to allow more people to participate. On the other hand, the longer it is drawn out, the longer tonych is sitting on 90, 80, 70, 60, 50% of the total coin supply. It's hard to be taken seriously as a currency when one guy owns 90% of the total money supply (even if he promises to give them away for free at some vaguely specified later date). So, from this perspective I think you want to distribute coins as quickly as possible to eliminate the uncertainty associated with one person holding almost all the coins (whether he intentionally after maliciously and dumped the coins or I believe his identity is public so someone could steal or rob him off the coins).

If you linked your btc in round 1 and got your BB but have not touched your BB or BTC since have you got to do anything to receive BB in future rounds or not?

Tony said no, but I would recommend to have a chat with the transition bot to check if everything is linked correctly and that you have balance on your bitcoin address(es)!

There may be some intention to keep byteball away from the main exchanges so holding them at this point it time would fit in with that thinking if true. I'm happy with a long distribution but if it was an automated process via smart contract or otherwise so no skullduggery or collusion could be realised, people may feel better.

This is true but have patience... If Poloniex links their wallet account in any of the remaining distribution rounds it's game on! Look at what happened with Pascal coin...10,000% increase in a few months? Just from the "Polo Effect"

What the hell is GBB or GB White or GB Black? Byte is the native currency on the crypto platform Byteball. The units are BYTE, KB (kilobyte), MB (megabyte) and GB (Gigabyte). Blackbyte is an asset on Byteball for private, untraceable payments. The units are the same as with Bytes, but they have a trailing 'B': KBB, MBB, GBB Some people call the Bytes 'white balls', that's funny but not correct.

It would be wonderfull if it was that simple to be coded into a smart contract. May be tonych will come up with some idea after few rounds, who knows.

If poloniex can list Pacalcoin on its exchange, then it is time for Byteball team to approach Poloniex, I'm not sure of the criteria they use to list project because is not open to the public, I just believe if Byteball developers approach them in a gentleman, Poloniex will agree to list it. The trade volume is very low presently

No, you find your seed (12 words) under 'Backup'.
Im currently running the old version. I cant find 'backup'. Must be there, even in old versions. Have you looked in the cogwheel menu? Found it

Bittrex is ideal, not too big, decent interface, shed a load of shit coins recently so I'm sure would love this addition

Look at what happened with Pascal coin...10,000% increase in a few months? Just from the "Polo Effect" I am actually fearing that effect. Imagine the aftermath, best depictured by a wave rolling over a small vessel to turn turtle.
