I didn't mention that, because it's not worth mentioning. It's a 2-4% difference between them, on a rough estimate. On 1,900W, that's a whopping 38-76W difference between Gold, Platinum and Titanium. Also, it's not just the % difference you have to account for. If it were, then 92% Gold efficiency on 230V, at 1,900W, would be 1,748W. No where near 1,400W. Like I said, there was a nice write up on it, using calculations based on actual usage readings, but as usual, KnC is a bag of dicks. And yes, 220/240V is also slightly more efficient. That's one of the bonus reasons I wired mine for 240V. I get the same rating with Gold on 240V, that I would with Platinum on 120V, without having to pay the premium for a Platinum PSU. Platinum will likely never pay for the little extra 2% efficiency in the miners lifetime, let alone the uber premium Titanium. In other words, Titaniums would save me about $79 a year on a Neptune, but cost nearly $500 more. That would pay for itself in oh....only 6+ years, lol.

Repositioned the cubes and lowered all their voltage to factory default. Running a bit cooler now.
Did you accidentally go the wrong direction on the voltages? A higher negative number equals a lower voltage. So -0.0439V is lower than -0.0366V. I think I might have lol

For 2 x 860 watt psu on Seasonic is only about $40 diff and 2 x 1000 watt EVGA about $40-80 premium platinum over gold. Average plat 860 watt at .16 kw/hr would save about $35 per year each over gold on 240v and $25 on 115v (Pushing 90-100% load mining)

So has KNC officially pulled down their forum because i don't see a link for it anymore?
exactly.... no more hardware....and no more support.. no more forum. They plan on milking the cloud from now on. We may see old cloud-Neptunes after the 16nm have been deployed and the 28's become obsolete... Then expect a fire-sale of old outdated stuff to institutional buyers. All the lawsuits from private individuals aren't worth the trouble anymore.

All the lawsuits from private individuals aren't worth the trouble anymore.
The lawsuits if they did not do that they probably did still deliver , now the only miner hardware comes from china were a lawsuit does not have any chance so people from the US don't try , I would had prefered a ban on US in shipping and buying. like some company's and banks do.

Found my copy of KnC's website when they originally offered refunds for the Neptunes. Hope this helps others. Edit: Just noticed the date I printed this. Already after 2nd Qtr 2014. Pretty good proof they didn't make their shipment date and you can claim a refund.

Anyone more that got this mail from KnC?
Dear Sir/Madam.
We can see from our records that you have selected to receive a bonus Titan miner as part of the 2 for 1 offer we ran last year. Due technical issues in the selection process the Titan miner was not correctly registered as a choice and not accounted for. In this case we would like to offer you the following options instead of receiving the bonus Titan miner.
Option 1: Swap the bonus Titan miner for a free Neptune miner expected to ship within the next few weeks.
Or
Option 2: Receive a BTC payment of 3 Bitcoins per bonus Titan miner you were entitled to. (If you select this option please provide a BTC wallet address with your confirmation)
Please reply to this email to confirm your choice before the end of business 17:00 CET on Friday 3rd of April.
Thank you. KnCMiner Team.
And of course they do only apologizes when I try to speak with them. However what is the value of the Neptune? Perhaps it's a better choice to take the bitcoins. That is if I don't go to court.
They are really good at fucking up ppl's lifes :/

Yep but no time table its the same as for phones it can take up to 6 moths to replace one. but in practice KNC does within 48h thats was my experince with 2 broken cubus DOA I had batch 1 Neptune.. Consumer protection is nice but can be very damaging to a small componey , KNC is not a multinational when it comes to shipping miners the US claim culture is a real problem here , in practice you deal with multinationals they just calculate the damage. but thatś different from a company like KNC , yes they made mistakes but putting lawsuits will not get you anywhere. as you can see at "best" it killed availibility of equipment to the US.

Pretty good proof they didn't make their shipment date and you can claim a refund. I rea;ly dont care , in europe this is no proof. anyone can alter saved a wibsite. but the talk about 3 TH ,,, mine runs 3.6TH they say about refund ,,, you can refunt up to shipment.... that means yes you can refund ,,,, BUT it does NOT gave you ANYTIME , you get your refund!!!! So it was way better to receive the shipment! You can not blame them about ROI , since the price of bitcoin can NOT be predicted. That was a gamble all the time. they would win any lawsuits , but I can imagine you dont want this kind of shit when developing a product. so they stopped selling to US consumers. Sorry guts you just live in the wrong country!

Is it one Neptune cube or a complete Neptune miner? I recently picked up a Neptune Miner for about $900 CAD. I think I got a good deal and it was purchased offline so I didn't have to pay for shipping.

So was Titan batch 2. - It isn't my fault that it been half a year since it should been delivered. And the value only is 3 btc. And now Im searching people for a group speak against the company. Please send me a message if you are in the same situation!

What kind of desktop/laptop do you have ? You'll need access to a ssh client to access your Titan.
