Hashing at ~672GH (started a few minutes ago)! Thank you KnC!

Hello there,
I'm new to mining and I do want to preorder a neptune ASAP, but I have to wait until the second batch is open to non-previous customers, which is for ~mid december it seems.
Someone already proposed to place orders for others for free, and I really thank him for this, but we newcomers in the bitcoin wolrd, currently need nearly 2 full weeks to be able to buy even one BTC after all the account verifying/transfer performed by all the banks working with sites like bitcoin.de is complete. - 2/3 days to have an answer for why your account can't be automatically verified because their bank doesn't have contract with yours (happens with the majority of banks in my country) - 2/3 days for a specific transfer with a code for you to send it via email - 1/2 days for a reply and your account validation - 2/3 days for your transfer to fund your online account Banks don't work on weekends, so it really takes 2 weeks to enter the bitcoin world, which is of course what is really putting a break to its global recognition.
I'm pretty sure by the time I have 15 BTC (monday ?), all the orders will already be paid (I started all the verifying process 1 week ago).
But I'm not here for ranting, I just didn't want my first post in this forum section to be a simple self-interested question without some initial introduction of my current situation, just by respect.
So here it is : will there also be a reseller program for the next batch ? I mean with a bonus like what Wesly is doing, kindly offering ~200Gh/s for each unit acquired via his link ?
I think it's a nice way to incite people to buy more of those machines than what they originaly intended, and its presence will help the wait we have to endure until we're able to preorder those state of the art ASIC miners.
There is an option to pay via bank transfer. So this person that offered to do it for free contact them. But be careful, it's scam city out there. I would do it for you, but not for free. I would do it for $200 + $500 to the Philippines appeal. Im sure there will be other members, who will do it for free though. Just be careful!

I've placed one order today 128xx, i presume they are all sold out, if i am not wrong yesterday they started when the progressive number was 109xx or 1100x, and we have to consider also that one order could contain 10 pieces.
Not everyone who placed an order has paid yet, so they might not be sold out. They are not going to find twelve hundred idiots in existing customers that quickly. Most miners with any experience realise that pre-ordering something for delivery in 7 months time in a market as volatile as bitcoin is stupidity too risky. And those of us stung by KNC's "Ship late, ship faulty" service won't be ordering again. dear avenger, you had ordered jupiters also, but got a refund, is that correct ? why do you bother to post here the usual "knc is a scaaaaam" sheit, when there are plenty of people here in this forum that do not regret their engagement into knc since it worked for them. i mean, do you really think you stating something substantial with this "knc customers are stupid" sheit on page 1100 of this thread ? where does your hate come from ? I sold atm my Jupiter october batch for 15500 Euros! I also will hate myself, and hiting me 100 times in my face if I not risking to buy an KNCMINER. Take a look to german Ebay. Also I sell my KNCMINER for rent 12 hours, and the price is 325 Euros per 12 hours. And... the people are so crazy about bitcoins, I think mid Jan we have an price about 2000 USD / BTC

vesper, dynamic? thanks! been called alot of things before, but dynamic is a first..... Glad I could help! Cash/bitcoin/gold/women it's all the same, right? I'm just looking to see if someone wants to offload their Jupiter now while they still can....in a couple months they may be very hard to sell. Or I wouldn't be interested in that time. See ya at work!
So you can pay in women.. what might you have to offer..? Don't do it! The maintenance cost is outrageous, and you think Bitcoin difficulty rises fast?

Rename your Jupiter: She doesn´t like an name like: Fuckoff 2. unplug all power 3. unplug all flat cable 4. plug the power cables in 5. let it run for an hour ! 7. power off all 8. unplug the power cables 9. plug in one asic board with the flat cable + pcie 10. plug the power to the controller board 11. switch on the miner, wait for green light, if the green light is permanent on then this asic board is ok 12. now unplug the good board and do the same with an other when you do this 7 - to 12 for 4times, then you know which board is broken, for this board you need an RMA write an mail to support@kncminer.com (you have to use the email adress of your order) if not call them.

congrat! wattage at the wall ? I don't have anything to measure. I will try to get something next week. nice! do you have that "Turbo Mode" they talked about?
Not yet, but the firmware is 0.99-E. CYPER really don't feel like posting pics(maybe in the weekend), but it's the same as previous ones, the only thing that's change is a metal stuff inside that's somehow blocking the lower half of the front coolers, but it's 4-5 cm away from them and they changed the bloody VRMs They are different now. Edit: 677-678GH in cgminer / 674GH in pool / low HW.

The safest bet for a quality design which will exceed the specified hash rate and will definitely ship sometime in 2014, is KNC. There's no doubt.
I have a feeling, however, the other companies will stick to 28nm for awhile and cater toward the house-based mining folk, as it appears KNC is propelling toward more industrial consumers.
If you were to spend money on a miner right now, your best bet is KNC. To me, there's too many variables with what the returns will be like in 4-6 months, I'd rather find something now and burn it up until it's no longer viable, and move forward with the earnings.
To be fair, almost from the beginning that has been their stated focus. They have waffled somewhat, but the commercial miner has always been their target. I am cautiously optimistic on Cointerra and BlackArrow, I believe Bitmine will deliver, and of course Bitfury have already proven themselves (though with my crazy work schedule I haven't kept up with their latest plans, if any). For reasons I cannot properly elucidate, just gut feeling, I think Hashfast will fold. I can't prove it, I have no insider information, I just smell fish. I am trying several avenues to raise revenue, and when I get it I'll buy KnC if at all possible. I like the company, can forgive their warts as they are overall pretty small, and I want them to succeed. For several reasons. One of them being Bitcoinorama who was very kind and very informative to a newbie even before his association with KnC. In a previous post you mentioned that it feels good to be in on the beginning of something historic. I am a bit jealous there, and flog myself constantly. I almost was one of the first adopters. I was aware of bitcoin at the outset, and was interested. Then a lot of shit happened in real life, and I forgot. That error cost me a lot. I had no reason, at the time, not to do it. I simply got sidetracked. Granted, the IRL issues were real, immediate, and devastating, but that doesn't change the fact that I missed a boat I wanted to sail on. That being said, I still think the day is young on Bitcoin. It has risen almost twice what I thought it would in this year, and still going up. I actually thought it would hit $500 by about January 1st. We do indeed live in interesting times.
