Is it just me, or would a lot of other day 1/2 buyers here rather have a good deal on a gen2 Jupiter delivered in December..?

Yea, I mentioned before that I would rather get some Jupiters for $3k.  That would be a much better reward for early investors.

I ordered 1 Neptune primarily due to power concerns.  Emailed Sam about any future hosting options, if they offer hosting I may add another unit before they sell out.

They have the technology, we know everything works..

The Neptune is another leap of faith - I have no problem trusting KNC on their ability to deliver, but the difficulty in "q1/q2" is impossible to predict.

I have placed an order, but i'm really not sure what to do with it.. :/
I don't thinking they care, my mercury run only 80-90Ghas, the boards sold out was too damm quick. I rather will pre order jupiter or 3 October boards even for January shipping.

To be honest, yes.  I would much rather order a $3K December Jupiter.

I would prefer an yearly perk in ordering hardware. So September 2014 gen 2. Regarding December 2013 Jupiters, that would go against their promise of not delivering then.

It's not impossible.

Jupiters went on sale June 3rd and the first ones delivered were October 2nd so 4 months

If they kept the same timescale that is late march

*fingers crossed*

That was with a mature 28nm process that everyone uses. 20nm is a whole new story. TSMC is going to have their hands full making 20nm work for the big boys (Apple, Qualcomm, etc).

An ASIC for mining bitcoin it's a "simple" project, only an Algorithm implemented more and more times...

Got my fingers crossed...
over 100 page views already....
ill cancel it right now if someone sends me 12k in BTC

They're going for more than that, so just hold out lol
Given the time it actually takes paypal to transfer the fiat to the bank, and bank to exchange...it (the sale)could be over
Your crazy for taking PayPal for a miner, to many scams, people mine with them then claim they don't work and request a refund after,

i ordered 10 neptunes. if anyone wants to buy, but is no knc customer yet, please pm me.

i was one of the first ones to order/pay 10 jupiters. visited knc offices on open day, trusted sam and marcus from day one, never did regret it. despite of all those 1000 pages of people saying it would not roi, it surely did roi big time.

So 1200 Units for Batch one = 3.6PH minimum.
Batch two will probably add the same amount.

I think I am going to sit this one out.

An ASIC for mining bitcoin it's a "simple" project, only an Algorithm implemented more and more times...

But making 20nm wafers isn't "simple". Even if KnC does everything right, there's a very good chance TSMC will be delayed in getting the wafers made.

Is ORSoC doing the design again?

I just finally figured out that the greyed-out (like de-activated stuff usally) little x next to ordered items in the shopping cart was not merely decorative and was not a de-activated delete option but was in fact an active delete button.

Poor choice of shading/colour for an active button. But luckily I was desperate enough to try it so managed to figure it out in time.

I actually got 6 upgrade modules.  Tongue

I'm still debating, but this doesn't sound like a good deal.  They're taking advantage of people due to the higher spot price IMO.
