... and you can refund up to shipment

Which we know was a lie last time around.

Not exactly, you were able to refund to the point the list was sent to the facility to process your order for assembly.

Make my day! Say thanks if you found me helpful Smiley BTC Address --->

the question should be, will it mine more than 12 BTC.    If so, buy, if not, don't.  Simple.

I feel it will and got one.  I'm having a tough time figuring out when to start pulling $ out of BTC so I will buy this and consider it my exist strategy. Rather than tap into my holdings, I'll mine to my Coinbase account and cash out using this miner.   Good luck everyone!

Don't know the answer, I've guessed yes, but THAT is the question.

Now lets have a sweepstake on how long for a pre-order to appear in the for sale section, I say < 1 hour Smiley

as of now there's only bitpay as payment method despite the fact in the news they mention also bank wire

So... not until shipping then?
Assembly is not the same as shipping.
If they had said you can refund until assembly, they would have been truthful.
They said you could refund until shipping, and were not truthful.

hey, who else considers $10k as a bad joke ??
Never ever I will pay in BTC $10.000 today for a product delivered at a point in time where BTC might have increased incredibly.

And this is considered to be a discount ?
Quote
Existing customers will get a discount on the boxes, and they will also receive their products around two or three weeks earlier than the competition. There will be no trade-in program.

I mean, as already posted, Cointerra was offering it for 60% of KnC price.
Ok, they will deliver later, but not that late that 4k is reasonable.

I honestly wish you best luck while recommending to stay away from it.
If next week BTC hits the 1.000 line you will already start to regret it I guess.

Frankly I am underwhelm, I was expecting the normal price to match Cointerra $6000 for 2TH, which translate to $9000 since Neptune hashs at min 3TH.  But you shouldn't take the bitcoin to USD exchange rate into consideration unless you believe KnC will deliver late, all that matter is how many bitcoins you are paying today and what you estimate the difficulty will be when they deliver end of March/beginning of April.

Issue 1: Why wouldn't they also offer 28nm technology since its' one-time cost has been paid? This would allow folks who can't afford to pay for a cheap car, to keep in the game.

Issue 2: For a $10kUSD unit which will likely arrive after Cointerra's $5k offerings, I would hope the darn thing does 6TH. Knowing KNC, I'm sure it may be capable, but powering will be an issue for most home-based setups.

Issue 3: Also, looking at even conservative difficulty estimates, a 4TH unit would produce 3-5btc in April, with a lifetime of less than 10BTC.

So...

30Btc in March 15btc in April, but prices can be 1000$ or 100$ for 1BTC, now all Jupiter's owners give up their Btc back to knc unknown projects 10000$ x 1200 =12mil$ and the chips manufacturing cost only 4,3$ mil
