The last news update was the final nail in the coffin. Looks like someone will be moving up 6 Neptunes in the queue. Waiting on my refund. No way a Neptune will make as much BTC as you can just buy straight up now.

Just got the news update in my inbox. I see they're doing upgrade modules finally. It specifies November batch. Does this mean they won't work in October batch systems?
I believe my Mercury is an October, but I'm not sure. Any easy way to tell? It's been on a shelf mining non stop since November.
Thanks guys.
October - silver GE vrmsNovember - yellow ericsson vrms

and if you look closely, the 'November' boards now on sale seem to be the '8 VRMs dont make any difference' October boards with the shitty GE VRMs even if there are 8 of them....
November boards have the EIGHT ewiccson VRMs as shown above!

They can't be bothered to take any new pictures.. they still just throw the old jupiter and saturn pics up as Neptunes Also, any thoughts on KNC holding back their BTC dumps during this marketing pitch to let the price float up and thus the value of buying mining gear for more interest in these products? Once they sell out, prepare for crash back to $300 as their dumping resumes

This is BAD news! It seems EVERY (pre-order) mining company starts with promising 'all the world' to their early 'investomers', and as soon as production starts, they somehow forget those promises, and change their priorities to: 'maximising shareholder-value' (and no, 'we' are NOT those shareholders!) And of all mining-companies, KnC seemed the most honorable, up until this last news statement. Like some have mentioned here before, it appears KnC couldn't ship Jupiters (OR modules for that matter) not because they couldn't get some components, but just to fill their datacenter first. which brings me to: Kncminer.cn this company is is the exclusive reseller/distributor for KnCminers in China. (only mentioned a few times in this 1500-page-thread) Owner(chairman) of KnCminer.cn is Brock Pierce http://www.linkedin.com/in/brockpierce (a well known bitcoin-entrepeneur) I wouldn't be surprised if he (BP) didn't resell any of those machines, and just started his own mining-farm in China! Fck it, i'm out! update: "Kobayashi* did not refer to an offer made last month by a group of investors, including former child actor-turned entrepreneur Brock Pierce, to take over Mt. Gox. But he said such offers would be taken into consideration." http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/04/16/bitcoin-mtgox-idUSL3N0N82HQ20140416Edit: Kobayashi* is not related to a character in the Usual Suspect

Friday 18th is a public holiday in Sweden, so they are in fact closing Thursday 17th. Whether the devious cunts are saying that they are open again on Tuesday 22nd, or closed on Tuesday and open Wednesday is hard to tell.

And to think for a moment they would make modules for both the october and november units. Looks like I have an october unit. I remember there being talk of mixing them, but don't recall how that went.

Once they sell out, prepare for crash back to $300 as their dumping resumes I thought that too, because they mentioned the bitcoin economy as a reason for demand when recently it's been quite the opposite. Unless you have a way to change that. A new batch of Neps...made up of refunded ones now thy have enough cancelled orders to make a decent batch. If they were intending to sell another batch that makes zero sense when they could have sold them for more if offered as soon as the 1st batches sold out. A new batch of boards made up of their old farm. At a price that's too high to be viable for us, but low enough to remove any chance you had to sell what you have for a decent price. Where else could these old boards have come from? They hung onto them for a giggle? They imagine that their customers are going to suck all this up? I laughed and laughed.

They could have sold Oct boards at any time from Oct to Feb, people were begging. They didn't because they had none, they didn't produce anymore than the limited upgrade batch even. There's only one logical place these boards are coming from. Their own farm. Quite a large farm since Oct. it seems.

Has anyone bought more than 2 upgrade boards and did knc insist on sending each board individually (like last November) and charging you $70 per board shipping fee? Now that it looks like the boards cost $200 (or less) each, knc sure did burn people during last years fire sale.

So I'm confused, they are selling a Batch 3, but has batch 1 even shipped yet? I've been choo-chooing on the Bitmain Train, so I've lost track of all these other companies and what the hell they are even doing...

Nothing shipped. They gave existing bag holders 3 options - keep your neptune order, covert to a non-refundable scrypt miner (titan), or covert to a frankenjupiter hashing at 3T. The frankenjupiters are supposed to ship next week. God help them if they get the self-immolating hardware. I just moved and had 2 capacitors broke off 1 s1, but it still hashes at speed and hasn't burnt up like KnCs stuff.
