Are you talking about me? If so, you should know that I'm always at least 60% in bitcoin and trade with the remaining 40% to increase my bitcoin holdings. Moreover, I've absolutely zero ZEC and have actually never bought a single piece of it as I do know that it's extremely cheap to mine ZEC (or the whole standard Equihash algorithm in general) with current ASICs (especially with the newest version of Bitmain's Antminer Z11) and miners keep on dumping whatever they mine. ZEC will only be a good buy once it's extremely close to its halving or after it. Till that time, buying ZEC with your BTC is equivalent to throwing away your precious satoshis for nothing.
Once I tired to trade some of my bitcoins with altcoin. It was with the hope to accumulate more bitcoins from the trading. After few months I found myself losing 80% of those bitcoins and since then I stopped trading LOL I am happy with hodling now. I think you were either only holding your alts or you were not taking out profits (which I believe is a must, and should be done "in BTC"). At this time, I'm literally trading with all the profits I've made with alts so far. I got my capital back (thanks to the last month's ADA pump) with which I started trading, and now whatever I'm trading with, is purely due to the result of profits of my previous trades. Even if I lose everything now with which I'm currently trading, I'll still not be in loss, overall. At around 80% lose I took back my BTC (It's was earlier last year to somewhere in the middle). And since then I am not risking my BTC anymore. Honestly speaking, I don't understand how this market BTC/ALTs moves so I stopped. Holding BTC is the safest high-yielding option available on the planet. Full stop. If you can't trade good, you're doing the right thing by only holding (and accumulating more) bitcoin.

Selfish idiot. His daddy passed him some money so he had a choice, the same choice he has taken away from his kids. I'd rather get knowledge so i can figure out how world works and make my own descisions, rather than being another idiot trust fund baby (and that's the best case scenario for his kids). They should do a follow up on the kids in 10yrs Honey i know you can only count to 10, can't have that career in science you always wanted to, have anxiety, anti social, addicted to drugs, depressed, and a ton of other psychological disorders, but here's some bitcoins that finally mooned to make you feel better. So you say school is the only way for kids to learn how the world works or to gain knowledge?? Wauw. The only, no, most likely yes. Its a numbers game, and as such there are always exceptions to every rule. There are reasons that the percent of flat earthers without education is much higher than those with PhDs from MIT. If they can mentally challenge their kids in multiple disciplines and surround them in such environment while they grow (in trailer parks) on their own, kudos to them they're the 0,000001% black swan even. Unfortunately the other 99.9% won't be that lucky. Don't think such behavior should be promoted or advertised with BTC. Wasn't there a guy a while back who leveraged BTC with his mortgage only to get wiped out few months later?

Shitcoiners (all coins but BTC) dump you bags now while you can.
May 8 is coming..... what happens then? @JSRAW - Yes sir it is coming up fast. @V8s - I will place a Xhomer masterpiece on my head and announce the BTCaby BTCull is no longer a baby(provided we dont go sub 3100 by then in which case Bitcoin is dead and a scam ) There will be other festivities as well but I cant reveal that now. What if BTC goes sub $4,200 on or before May 8? That would have some meaning, right? What if BTC goes sub $3,500 on or before May 8? That would have some meaning, right? Personally, I presume that sub $3,500 on or before May 8 has really low chances, in the sub 15% arena, and sub $4,200 on or before May 8 would still NOT have high odds, but perhaps in the 33.3333% arena, which are not particularly low odds.

John McAfee has released a new Android app. It's called John McAfee's Bitcoin Play and you can earn satoshis by answering (simple) questions. I just installed it, don't expect gaining much but I'll admit it's pretty addictive.
Only problem is you gotta hear McAfee's voice (oh and there's ads when you lose)... but hey he thinks I'm very smart so I guess it's fine.
EDIT : wait now he says I gotta educate myself. Asshole !

^ LOL, in 2019, I'm talking about the highest price of the year, so far and I hope to see it higher in December. When we refer to ATH or other price dynamics, we refer to Bitstamp, here, unless we are trying to point out something specific about some other exchange. So, in that regard, our ATH for 2019 has so far only gotten to $5,846. We cannot be referring to other exchanges with other ATH BTC prices, merely because it makes us feel better because there is a higher number or a lower number or anything like that. We gotta stick to our guns during good times or bad times or whatever, and use Bitstamp as our reference price, unless there is some kind of convincing longer term development that shows us that Bitstamp is either no longer reliable as an price indicator, or some better price indicator proves itself to be better (likely with passage of time, rather than short term claims of serving as a more reliable indicator).
