Pretty good we are holding steady despite the destructive apocalyptic nature of neocons in charge and leeches such as Jamie Demon destroying the retail fiat banking sector.

I want to believe that the world economy won’t dive into a deep recession but I’m still not convinced. The only reason I care if it does is because bitcoin will crash too. We’re still at a stage where we follow stocks & react to black swan events etc. Look what happened when COVID first hit, we nuked.

So here’s hoping for the FED to stop raising rates, banks to stop capitulating so the buds of financial Spring begin to show to allow us a raging bitcoin bull market in 2024 & 2025.

The world will not dive into a recession, not a long one anyway. But I can assure you it won't matter because the intervention required to continue, and keep making this mess worse than before, will lift markets of all types to new highs in no time. To the 99% the recovery will feel like a recession anyway as prices for everything become more out of reach than before. But hey, at least the governments and economies will continue to function though right.

A recession they can avoid, a functional monetary system they can never achieve.

Sure there might be another covid type crash but just like last time it will be a generational buying opportunity.

RIP Gordon Lightfoot.
 One of the best.
 A Legendary Canadian Folk/Rock Musician

He has many great songs but this one is my fave: If You Could Read My Mind

He passed away May1st and I meant to post it then but I... shaky old man syndrome I guess.

As a sailer in USN "THE wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vST6hVRj2A

always held it dear to my heart.

The Edmund sank in 1975.

The song came out in 1976

I joined the USN in 1978

and in 1980 my ship the USS Dixie AD-14 which was the only active remaining ship from WWII

sailed through the biggest cyclone in

 the Indian Ocean. For 1980

All I could think of was that song as  It took us three days to fully clear past the waves that typhoon made.

Viola-Claudette March of 1980 was the strom

You have lead an interesting life Mr. philipma1957!

PacWest Bancorp falls -46% at open and trading paused again. Looks like the next US regional bank is going down today.

Jamie Demon will be getting a massive bonus based on all the people who do well out of failing upwards and/or telling lies.

Easiest way would be to short the US Regional Bank Sector $KRE, however it's down -40% in 2023 and another 6% today already.

Western Alliance and PacWest are pretty likely the next two going down. IMHO it's only a matter of days and someone will pull the trigger.

Maybe. But Bitcoin should be rocking things right now. It's disappointing that people aren't catching on when everything is right in front of them.

Star Wars sucks.

Used to like it quite a bit before the dark times: the special editions and Disney. I don't like the prequels either.

I much prefer Stranger Things now.
Star Wars now comes with unshakable low quality baggage.

Nearly no one buys until everyone buys.

I can see a massive panic pushing BTC into the $100s of thousands during the next rally.
