What don't you understand about it? The dates and exact times of the new periods are all listed on the right. If you can't work that out then there's really no helping you.

I wouldn't concern or confuse yourself with that too much. All you need to know is to make a post in or after the new period and you'll get your precious activity.

I passed the 120 mark recently and haven't been promoted to full member yet. Does it update the rank when the new activity period starts? I've read through the last few pages and that's the impression I got.

Yes, there is. Higher rank users have higher rates (per post), as long as their participating in a signature campaign.
