Roy, I didn't realize it was possible to merge mine UNO - are you using the standard p2pool software?

Thanks  Smiley

UNO is the primary coin, not the merged coin. I run UNO and BTC nodes.

RoyalMiningCo: Pools retired. Was fun!

p2pool doesn't really know what the hash rate is.  It just does an estimate based on how many shares are being found per time period.

but, with "hour" graph. ... the progression is not chaotic.

French ... but not so much   ---===---   P2P ... it's people at the end   ---===---   P2Pool (10,9 GH/s).

Lovin days where we have 3 blocks in the last 24 hour window like today Smiley

Hoping people who have never given p2pool a try will do so now, while the expected block times are sooner than expired shares. I don't love it when earned shares are wasted, that's when I feel like throwing in the towel.

Then we have days like today that help remind me why I like it here, other than the principles behind it which keep me with p2pool in the bad times as well.

This is one thing I have noticed with P2Pool which leads me to suspect there is a bug in it. Sometimes if I stop my P2Pool to do some maintenance on OpenSUSE and start it up later I noticed that I am lucky to get 10 shares a days, were as if I start and stop it randomly afterwards eventually it starts doing 10 shares day like it's doing right now; this is why it leads me to believe there is some kind of bug in the core of P2Pool because technically this shouldn't happen period.

I am seeing huge swings in the predicted payout, which is normally spot on when a payout occurs because I verify it when I look at when I get paid.

My 100GH miner has fallen to .001 while my 180GH/s of miners is .008 to .010 which doesn't make sense for the 100GH/s miner.

I see the global pool is now 485GH/s.

It depends on when the last share was found by your 100GH miner.  Expected payout will indeed swing around wildly as hash rates increase/decrease, share difficulties increase/decrease, shares drop off the payout list, etc.

To see what I mean visit p2pool.smoothrunnings.ca:9332

I went to your node and see nothing wrong with the reported numbers.  The payouts to each miner are determined by how many shares that miner has submitted in the given timeframe, and the weights associated to those submitted shares.  As an example, I have 2 S1s running on my local node.  Currently, my expected payouts show one with 0.02 and the other with 0.007.  Both have been running for exactly the same time, but one has found more shares than the other.

Why would you not run both S1's with the same payout address? That way their not competing with each other for shares on your node. I know in the long run it doesn't matter but still...

...or even just run each one with a non payout username so that all the shares go to your nodes payout address if you want to track the performance of each one separate.

I managed to make bfgminer work with this p2pool http://p2pool.org:9332/static/ but I want to use the first one

BFGMiner works for me, I would check to make sure your firewall isn't blocking the outbound ports.

Correct. This is just a historical info site that forrestv took over from whoever else used to maintain it. There's no public node running there.
