I agree. If it is in the high point of its rate, volitality should we expect as what does huge traders' tactics do. I think, it's better to wait more and watch if it is consistent enough before buying bitcoins again.

Not sure what you mean by there being no-one here, looking around on the forum there's still a fair amount of people and I haven't been seeing any mass exoduses, even a trickle of users away from the community doesn't seem like a major concern right now. While the market might be a bit of a gamble, it does have some trends that it follows and it isn't impossible to predict movements, just a bit more of a challenge with whales and everything.

Maybe old users of Bitcoin are leaving, but the community seems really vibrant for what it is. I could be wrong.

there is no risk at all , it is because the most of the developed countries are now accepting bitcoin as an way of the payment and also they legalise the bitcoin officially , so no risk to hold bitcoin .
Here in my country , which is India, the government is looking to legalise the bitcoin .

I disagree with you. There is a risk. Crypto currency always carries a risk. We can not guess what will happen tomorrow in this system. But I'm sure that investing in bitcoin is safer than investing in HYIPs.

That's correct that is why we do not have to put all our money in this investment, diversifying it would be wise IMO.

There is always risk in any investment but i think in bitcoin, there is only a small risk for investing your money on it. If you invest in bitcoin then you can sleep very well because you don't need to worry for getting a loss because in the long run, the price is always going up and that is good for long term kind of investor. Bitcoin is one of the safest for me and i trust bitcoin for having my money.

it is all speculation, the risks are there but in my opinion price going down in long term has a  very small chance. but in short term because of some stuff that are going on can go down but i won't last long.ut there is another risk that people usually forget, when you are using bitcoin you are in charge of keeping your private keys (your wallet) safe. and if you fail to do that, you will lose your money

Risk is everywhere in life and investment in bitcoins is also not risk free. So there is no thing in the life which has no risk. Risk factor is everywhere, before start investing anywhere you must have some basic or proper knowledge about the project. Same is also in bitcoin if you catch the price of bitcoin (not possible) you definitely get high return if not then sure you will loss much more than your expectation.

i believe that the advantages mentioned was about the decentralization of bitcoin where it cannot be touched by the governmen, another is the volatility of bitcoin where bitcoin's value increases or decreases over time (just focus on the increase part). Thinking that way, it will give investors courage to invest in bitcoin.

As for the minimization of risk, only invest on trusted project by checking their credibility or if they have escrows that are reputable in this forum or on other forum. Having caution will always reduce risk I would say.

Bitcoin is not controlled by anybody (decentral) the price is determined by the demand and supply and all those investing bitcoin wants a profit (it can't happen) there must be a loss in order to have a profit therefore the timeliness and place of investment becomes the main point so it's very risky

But not as risky as gambling, trading is a thing now that you can earn a lot in many aspect that you can choose from whether it is in commodities, currency, gold, silver, bronze or Bitcoin, well actually there are training that you can attend too to make your trading skill level up further, yes it have a risk but it is safer that gambling.
