I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
1.Bitcoin is a rival to fiat currency and hence governments may take steps at any time to regulate bitcoin. 2.Bitcoin exchanges are fully digital and has always risk from hackers,malware,etc. 3.Bitcoin price is highly volatile.If low users use bitcoins,its value would decrease considerably. 4.Bitcoin investments has the risk of being taxed. |

Hi You can always predict with the previous 1 month to 1 year price fluctuation chart there lots of sites available in google . If i see for the current date to last one month chart it increases from 964 to 1250 its huge gain . and also you can predict using last 6 months and last 1 year chart . While keeping the bitcoin for long time you have to keep wallet key safe and it should not be publicly exposed . And last but not least and also have a current affair news regarding bitcoin

yeah , you are right ,but beside of your factor of the increase price prediction , you should also need to think about the usual thing in the bitcoin that means the increase and decrease in the price is not sure whether at which moment it can go down or up , Because all this depends upon the internet Market where people make buy :sell , if more and more sell then Ofcourse price will go down and vice versa . So here I will suggest to OP just wait for the perfect time to buy , Because you want buy in bulk , so it is a big matter that price should be low , otherwise it will take more time to make earning money with increase of the bitcoin in small steps . So keep patience and wait for the down of the price . |

Right now, Bitcoin is one of the riskiest type of investments available. Here is my wild guess about its future prospects:
25% chance that Bitcoin will become worthless by 2020.
50% chance that the exchange rates will remain in the range of $1,000 to $5,000 by 2020.
25% chance that the exchange rates will top $5,000 by 2020.
In short, the chances that your investment will become worthless is much higher with Bitcoin (25%), when compared to the other options such as equities (5% to 10%) or treasury bonds (<2%).
where you get the data from? i think that it's not reliable enough to be trusted unless you have good source of this percentage |

Every sort of financial investments has its own risk and bitcoin does have the risk because of the high volatile nature of the coin but i really could not figure out how you came up with the data.First and foremost there is no data available to show that the price of bitcoin will be worthless by 2020,if you could care to explain your wild imagination it would be cool,the chances of the price going below $1000 is also slim and the possibility of a bull run from this stage will break new records without any doubt. |

Unless you can predict and know how to play the price or how stable the price is, the lower the risk it can affect you. I agree that now the risk to invest in bitcoin is much higher. Nobody can predict the price and in case of a fall you can lose everything. You will not loose everything even if price goes down as price will never fall back to zero and if it falls to zero then only your will be loosing everything but I don't think that will ever happen and I don't see any risk in investing in bitcoins as the price is continuously increasing. |

I agree that now the risk to invest in bitcoin is much higher. Nobody can predict the price and in case of a fall you can lose everything. but for people which believe that bitcoin price will going to up, then they will not thinking about the risk because they buy bitcoin as their investment and they know that every investment is always going up and down. so they will stay calm even if the price is down than the price they bought, they only use bitcoin as a long term investment. but for most of people, they will be panic when they see the price is getting lower and they are sold their bitcoin to cut the loss. |

You will not loose everything even if price goes down as price will never fall back to zero and if it falls to zero then only your will be loosing everything but I don't think that will ever happen and I don't see any risk in investing in bitcoins as the price is continuously increasing. Yes losing bitcoin is never happen if bitcoin price are not go down to zero. That is never happen because bitcoin is stable and the price of bitcoin is still going up. And bitcoin are good for now because the price is increasing. |

Yeah that's absolutely right that's there's nothing to lose if price will go down but not possible to zero because as of now price is very healthy and kicking. The very significant situation here is making clear to it that the most risk in bitcoin investment is that more btc investments adds were now circulating around the world, promises higher profit gains that is more prone to ponzi scheme and your investments might be scammed secretly by their tactics. On that worst situations investing any advertised online investment offers, you should not entertain them and don't give them a chance to rob you using underground tactics. |

Its a big risk unmeasurable.It is like risking your money on a casino and gambling it.Bitcoins may loose price anytime at this moment even bitcoins is strong it still has weakness that may lead to getting down.

If i had a few available thousands USD, for sure i would have invested them in bitcoin. Because many analytics converge in opinion that in 5, 10, years bitcoin would cost thousand of dollars per 1. But if you afraid to lose that many, don't invest them into cryptocurrency at all. Perfectly if that would be spare money.

It's been a long time to get a profit. If you want to make money quickly, I think you invest in an altcoins. The current altcoins have enough potential for us to invest and receive profits. However, choose a really powerful altcoin, or you will lose money when it loses value. |

Where do you invest your bitcoins? In shceme website maybe its 100% risk you will face wee don't sure when if we can get back our investment with 100% full return of investment coz most of investment website are scam even its they had the certificate of projects.

Well probably most of them are scam, but there are still users that getting a large amount of bitcoin to lure other victims that the scheme is true! but we can not say all of them are like that, but I don't intentionally interested in giving away my bitcoin without any good proof or evidence in their part. |

I have seen that people investing worth 0.10 to 5 bitcoins initially but it would not be good to generalize any such investment as it totally depends on the financial capacity of the investor. It is always advised that one should not invest more than what he can afford to lose as bitcoin is not any traditional form of investment so staking money more than the capacity would be a gamble.

It cannot be quantified but then not risky to invest in Bitcoin for long term. If you plan on buying and holding then Bitcoin is the he right investment but for short term purposes then I'm afraid you might get unlucky and loose some value as small fluctuations do occur every now and then.
