I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

There is no actual answer to your question, because Bitcoin is a project and it is speculating and cannot fall down in price so soon.
 Buying Bitcoin has no actual time to say is it good I buy now or I wait latter, now might be a good chance to buy and wait to sell later or buy later and keep it.

Investing maybe risky but its worth it especially when you really gain,like you said we can't tell when btc will pump so why not make it more bigger amount by investing then save it until it pumps. Just decide carefully where to invest . Make sure the ico or project will succeed by researching before investing.

I don't think that there is even slightest risk in investing in Bitcoin if you invest for a long time as Bitcoin is showing very healthy rates of growth and you can be sure that you will earn good profits if you wait for some time. Short term investments in Bitcoin cannons a little risky.

Even I know that, Most of the people fear to invest on bitcoin due to price fluctuation only. There are many platform in bitoin which can provide easy returns to your investment with the amount we invested.

Personally I think bitcoin is quite safe in terms of investment risk, because I expect it to rise alot. But I dont suggest going all in on bitcoin. Diversify maybe? put some on eth, xmr, dash, or whatever altcoin you prefer.
