I think it is just like any other way of investment, it is just one thing different is that if you send your invested money to the wrong address, you won't take it back
I do not think so, Bitcoin investment is much more risky than other investment because you see no one presentative for that kind of that investments so that it can not protect you from being scam No one can protect you from being scam, when you meet people outside, it just make you chance of being scam smaller, if they want to scam you, they just need to run away You are completely right, momagic, even our families can scam us if they want and what can we do if that happens? Nothing  |

There isnt much risk in bitcoin. But there are some disadvantages in using bitcoin, the fact that it goes up and down. But that is not quite an issue if you know whenbto spend and/or use it.

Its not risky to invest money in bitcoin if you have skill of investment that how to invest and in which time to invest.and risk will occur in this case If you have no skill of investment that will be more risky. And there flutuation if we invest all money in bitcoin and in case of more flactuation the price wil be come decrease that will more risky.
No, we can't say not risky when invest money Bitcoin! Example: a people buying Bitcoin in highest price, after 3 days, the price fall down more than the price they bought, they scared and sell all Bitcoin with a big loss About people have skill in trading: Not anyone can guess 100% the price will go to the way they think, if you win 100% in trading, I think you is a god of market |

I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
We really can't determine how much risk in bitcoin but I assure you one thing, if you are willing and has the belief with the charts of bitcoin. Then you are not going to talk about the risk instead you are going to compute the possible profit that you may get upon investing there. As long as you did bought bitcoin at lower price, that's good. If you have bought your bitcoins last year then you have already made huge profits but buying now is a risky as price is already high and we are not sure what will be the price of bitcoins in coming months or years and if we invest in it now and price crashes next year then it will be a huge loss for us. Yeah it's quite risky to buy bitcoins now as the price is keep on increasing and I don't have an idea on when it is going to become lower. But if you can afford to buy right now even the price is quite high then you should buy right now. Because the price of bitcoin is on a bullish movement right now and it is for real. Price will keep on increasing over the years so you can buy them even at the current price as I don't think that its a risk to invest in it if you can hold them for next 5 years as price will surely be much higher at that point of time. |

Any investment has risk, that is the first thing you must understand and never forget, the second thing to know whether you are capable of accepting the risk or not, if you are not then stay away from crypto currencies, stories of people losing tens of thousand of dollars while shorting bitcoin are not uncommon, but if you think you can handle the risk then bitcoin can be a great investment. |

That's why it's scam free because no single individual controls it and the worst they could do will be to dump it and per the current happenings every deliberate dump will be bought again and the prices will be restored in no time. |

These are unreliable companies that can stop paying at any time. Investing money in bitcoin is still more profitable than making deposits in a bank or investing in real estate. So basically, no one knows if the price of bitcoon would rose or would fall down, but as far as I can see right now, I think it's hard to stop the rising of price of bitcoin because the demand of it is high, we all know that if a product is on a high demand, the price would also rise and with that, I'm pretty sure that bitcoin would rise and regarding about the risk, of course in every invesment there is always a risk and it's up to you if you would take this as a opportunity and don't see it as a risk.

There is no investment that does not come with a certain risk or the other. The most important thing is never to put all your eggs in one basket. For bitcoin, I'd say its volatility is the huge risk that comes with it as the value is determined by its demand and supply and any little shit in the market won't be nice but all thesame, I have great trust in bitcoin and I believe it will always thrive as it always has. NO FEARS!

Basically we don't know the risk in every site if you invest money in a site first is you don't know if the site was trusted there are site that can give you small profit but many site are just scamming people who invested.
Yes that is why investment is consider as too risky because you doesn't have sureness that it will success. If you want to invest your money make sure first that the site is trusted and has a good background. |

Yes that is why investment is consider as too risky because you doesn't have sureness that it will success. If you want to invest your money make sure first that the site is trusted and has a good background. What you are telling is the basic thing which every investors have to know about it before going for investing, but in my point why to invest bitcoin in other investment when bitcoin purchasing and storing itself is a big investment as you can see the price of bitcoin how it is moving. |
