I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
Every investment has a risk. Every job we do must have an impact, whether it is positive or negative. If we do not dare to do anything then we can not live. For bitcoin currently has good prospects, we can see chart charts that prices are expected to continue to rise. yes there Is no doubt about this that every investment has a risk, but we have to accept the risk and invest our money for making profit because we do not have any other option. if we want to make money we must take the risk. for example I am interesting to invest money in bitcoin for making profit but in fact no one know about the price of bitcoin and at any time the price of bitcoin can start decreasing, but I still have to invest money there, because I do not have available any other option. |

Correct in the long term bitcoin is more or less predictable, it will go up, that is the way things have been on average, but when it comes to the short term bitcoin is impossible to predict, and due to the high volatility of bitcoin the chances of losing of money when trying to hold for the short term are very high compared to the long term chances
Bitcoin investment is too risky. If we want to earn we must be ready to risk. Everything that can make our money grows has a risk. And if we are able to accept the risk and face it and then we will pass the risk for sure. I don't consider that bitcoin is risky because I am from one year in bitcoin and still I do not face any risk I am going in profit everyday in bitcoin and my money increasing in huge value day by day because increasing its price everyday so Bitcoin for me profitable currency. |

There is no certain answer for your question since risk is immesaurable due to unpredictable markey. However, you shouldn't affraid of taking that risk. You just need to be smart in buying when the price is good so you can make profit. |

I don't see bitcoin investment more risky than other commodity and share investments happening in real world. Without risk, we can't get any profit.

I think bitcoin investment is not risky.Thr important thing is that you will find the legit website in where you will invest yoir bitcoin.One of the legit investment bitcoin wevsite is the poloniex.It was a very legit and nice bitcoin investment.

Bitcoin Investment is same as other investment. The risk is normally high, in investment industry there are no easy way up. All investments will go through ups and down. Before investing you must study the data, it will took time but it is helpful. As I can see now, Bitcoin still have an upward trend and It's not yet in maturity. I think this is an good for long term investment. Just be cautious and monitor it everyday.

It all depends on your priority but remember that in every business there are always risk involved. I may suggest that you share you holden between Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I would not recommend Poloniex as a legit Bitcoin website because they are know to give people a very hard time even if they are staying within their rules placed on their website. Bitcoin is a risky investment if the investor decided on relying on it for their daily/monthly income since the price of it could drop to no value. |

Every investment is risky and bitcoin is no exception but at this stage bitcoin still looks as an good investment for next couple of years so if you invest in it at a moment then make sure that you withdraw your profits at a right time instead of waiting too long.

You can always minimize investment risks. Bitcoin I like the fact that you can invest any amount and you do not depend on financial fraud at the company shareholder you are. yes you are right bitcoin investment is not only risky, in every investment risk is involve there but yes you are right if someone want to invest money in bitcoin then this investment requires the right time which is very important for making profit and also i think this time is very good to invest in bitcoin because now the price of bitcoin is stable and it will be increasing in few years. |

I don't see any risk in investing in bitcoins as I invested in bitcoins 2 years back and at this stage I have made huge profits so if you invest in it even right now then you will be making some really good profits in next 2 to 3 years.

Well, You are a lucky person. Try to buy Bitcoins now and hope for the best that It increases. Right now for the new investor Bitcoin investment is a really big risk. No one knows that price goes down or it will remain constant. |

Let me tell you that, there are risks involved with every kind of investment which are market linked. So even if you invest in market linked insurance or mutual fund, there is risk. But bitcoin, being a decentralized currency with no regulator carries a bit more risk than any other regulated investment instrument. But if you look back at the bitcoin historical price, you will see that long – term investment in bitcoin was immensely profitable for all. So if you are planning to hold your bitcoin for long time like 2-3 years, go ahead and buy it. But if you planning for a shorter term, then I would suggest you to use SIP method. This way, you will buy little amounts of bitcoin at a certain pre-decided interval. This way you can average out the price and minimize the risk. |

I don't know about Bitcoin being the highest risk investment but from what I learn by holding Bitcoin it is not risky as it sounds. Right now we can see that Bitcoin is really a volatile currency but it does not mean it is a high risk investment you can actually ride the price action of Bitcoin to your advantage, what I mean about that is you can add more Bitcoin when the prices are low and sell it all when it goes back up. From what I know the price recovery of Bitcoin is one of the fastest out there in the investment world based on my own experience. |
