How much risk in bitcoin investement ?

it is all speculation, the risks are there but in my opinion price going down in long term has a  very small chance. but in short term because of some stuff that are going on can go down but i won't last long.ut there is another risk that people usually forget, when you are using bitcoin you are in charge of keeping your private keys (your wallet) safe. and if you fail to do that, you will lose your money

Exactly the risk is there but in a little way. The market price is very good now a day and to my opinion it is not going to be down that the current price it have so, it is safe to invest. Also the wallet or the key is the most important thing in it. Many of the people lose their coins just because they don’t remember the keys and hence is a great loss indeed.

But, Bitcoin has been able to prove it over time. High volatility of Bitcoin doesn't mean it is not promising investment because the trend over the years shows that Bitcoin is on upward side of hill only.
So, in my views there is no bad period to buy Bitcoin at present. You can buy any time at any price because over the period of time, your value will increase for sure.

Any investments has a risk even in real life business you need to take a risk if you want to become successful and like in trading bitcoins you need to lose some money before you become a perfect trader but i think if you do a long term holding your 3btc it has a low chance of losing your money become Bitcoins has continuesly getting the value bigger it started in $200 but look now it becomes $1500 try to hold it between 1 to 2 years i think you will get a good profit but you need patience.

If you had followed your instinct of buying Bitcoin, you would have profited right now.  Though I can say there is always a risk when you are doing an investment, Bitcoin seems have the least of it as long as you hold it  for a very long time.

I don't think human instinct is a good way on choosing what you would do since human instinct isn't always right. By the way, you might need knowledge on things you will be investing, in this case, bitcoin which has a lot of possibilities to reach the price of 1500-2000$ at the end on the year. About the risk, all investments has it but you can lessen it by constantly checking or updating on what is happening on your investment.

I think even a short term holder has a low risk to lose you just know when to buy and when to sell them.. if you bough bitcoin from the price of $1200 before i am sure you can make a profit today if you sell it since the price was rise and touch $1,474 value there are still possibility that the price of bitcoin will increase more or the price can be decrease soon so if you holding that amount of bitcoin half that amount is good to sell right now and gain a good profit and hold the rest and maybe the price will increase more soon if the price is increase you can sell the rest and still gain a good profit but if not since you already sold your bitcoin you still made a good profit with the half of your investment.

If you buy bitcoin as an investment, than there is somewhat risk involved.
Price increase & decrease is very much normal for bitcoin or any other altcoins.

For example, when I joined bitcoin world, the price was around $250 - $300
But you can check today's price. It is $1,487 in preev.com at the time of writing.

So maybe there will be a decrease or increase of $100-$200 in next coming days (this goes for short run).
But if you have plan for long run, then price may cross $2,000.. WHO KNOWS?

It will depend on how much capital you invest in bitcoins as if you invest all your money only in bitcoins then there can be a risk of loosing it at once if bitcoin disappears in future but if you have invested limited amount then there is no high risk.

I think if you buy bitcoin now then you hold it for a while so make a profit for you, if so the risk for the loss is very small but with a note should often monitor the price in the market so you always update the price in order to make a decision.

Bitcoin won't get vanished in a short time, because when the price increases​the capital market will increase. In my opinion there is no risk in the bitcoin Investment , the reason is clear daily Investment in the bitcoin is going increasing and that is results into increase in the price .
Secondly few more countries are looking to declare bitcoin as legal way of payment ( in case of Japan has already accepted ) .
So these are directly showing that what the bitcoin is , since earlier I was also thinking same like you but after the enter in the bitcoin I realise that this is really a better way for the income without any fear .

That is true. Even savings accounts in banks have risks associated with it because in case of a bank closure, only a certain portion of your deposit will be insured. Same goes with other investments, especially those that have higher risks associated with them. With bitcoin, I think the risk is all worth it, given how it has performed very well, especially in the last few months.

Investments' risk is immesurable since there is a possiblity that it has more and less risk. However, what certain thing is that, yes there is always risk in investment. This is something new challenge to a new investor wether shall they put more money in investment or not. Thus, there is a forum to consult and to minimize the risk my revieiwing such investment. This is the effective way to execute the risk.
