All investments involve risk. But people cannot insure themselves against this. Most often people are ruining greed. Fraudsters take advantage of human greed. You cannot trust a man who offers you a too favorable conditions. Use only proven resources and the risk of losing money is minimal.

The most important thing is never to put all your eggs in one basket. For bitcoin, I'd say its volatility is the huge risk that comes with it as the value is determined by its demand and supply and any little shit in the market won't be nice but all thesame,

I can see it as 100% risk in investments because you may not know a certain investment site who handles how honest he is with the money you have. More of them who offered that kind of investments is a ponzi scheme that results to scam people in the future, and usually mining sites that promises high profit gains. We cannot trust fully investments now, reality check must be done before engaging in investments on particular online offers.

Yes I am agree with you that risk is not only involved in bitcoin investment that is involved in all type of trading , gambling and other activities that also involve risk but to me I think if a person have more skills and more information about bitcoin investment techniques they will decrease their risk in investment in bitcoin and also investment risks in bitcoin can be minimize by having full experience.

Nothing comes without risk, especially when it comes to any form of currency whether that be fiat or crypto. When judging whether or not this is a worth while investment there are several things that bitcoin offers that make it unique and imo a worthwhile consideration. Bitcoin and the system behind bitcoin uses encryption techniques to regulate the amount of the BTC generated this is a positive as it prevents any mass market manipulation, do people want it? I think from what we have seen over the past few months and years it is clearly an asset that is increasing in demand and yes don't get me wrong past performance is no guarantee of future performance however it is usually a very good indicator. With the amount of press currently surrounding the subject and the drastic increase in traffic imo it is a worth while investment.

On a separate note: Manage your risk, I've never been one to put all of my eggs in one basket, I would recommend diversifying in your investment strategy to better hedge against risk. Whether this be in altcoins or an alternate investment vehicle, that my friend is down to you

I think the OP is already happy if he really invested 3-4 bitcoin since he posted this thread last April. His money has already doubled if he really bought some. In investing the risk is always there 100% all the time so you have to think plenty times if you put your money in investment. For me bitcoin is a good choice as long as you know how to diversify your money in the world of crypto for sure you will be one of the many who became millionaire.

Correct, but one mistake many people make is to think they have gotten everything they can get in terms of profits and then cash out, the truth is bitcoin is not going to stop and it s price is going to keep climbing so the best thing is if you do not need that money is to keep holding for as long as you can while we wait for the price of bitcoin to skyrocket once again.

There's indeed no safe investment but there are investments that are tried and tested over time and can be near safe investment. Banks are actually controlled by a central body and sinif they go bankrupt you sure are going tonbe in trouble unlike a decentralized Bitcoin which will be difficult to be manipulated by a single individual and hence deliberate bankruptcy is unlikely to happen unless the lack of interest from people who have invested in it and so I can say it's a near safe investment and not risky at all.

bitcoin price is very stable its safe to invest in this virtual currency but yes bitcoin price will decrease a bit more again. I guess that point will be around $2000 - $2100 and that will be the best time to buy Bitcoin only if you can wait. people are saying that bitcoin will reach the price scale of $3000 till the end of this year.

For me it's high since bitcoin price isn't stable at all. It can drop its price to zero, but since Bitcoin node number is very high I think it will never happen. And it never happenned since 2009. But if new blockchain fails, we will back using old one since coins are stored on both ends. If you spend coins on new blockchain, it will be saved on old one. And vice versa.

Yes you are right that risk do not involve only in Bitcoin investment but also in all type of investments there is risk of losing money because if we wanted to make some profit then we should take risk because without risk we cannot go forward to take any step and I think now in this price of Bitcoin there is no risk in bitcoin investment because the price is now at low level and it will start rising up now in few days so I think this is a good time for investment in Bitcoin.

You are correct on this, but at the same time someone that is decided to maximize its earning potential when it comes to the yearly earnings he can get, will do  a lot better if investing in bitcoin than in any other of those investments, that is why it is a difficult decision, do you put all your money in bitcoin and wait for the big profits? Or do you diversify and earn less?

The risk is pretty large when investing into Bitcoin with a large amount of money that the person can’t afford to lose since that person depends on that money. If someone invests in money without worrying about it then he has more of a chance to hold the coin longer and make money.
