How about when the coin has split? We don't know what's going to happen on August 1. We don't know how will SegWit activation affect us. The days when you can simply hold your bitcoins and earn profit after a couple of months is already over. The scaling issue is being solved and it can greatly affect the price.

Bitcoin investment is risky right now because of the new update. I want to advise that you use an altcoin to avoid the price decrease of bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin has decreased a lot after August 1, bitcoin holders will be devastated but the price of altcoins will increase. This SegWit activation is the real pain in the ass that we are all worrying about, splitting bitcoin and stuffs that they want to happen is so confusing, of course if this thing is really going to happen on August 1, just like what you have said, it will be either the price of Altcoin will increase or the price of bitcoin will, either way, it is really risky, because any wrong choice that we are going to made is going to be regretful in the end.

Basically we don't know the risk in every site if you invest money in a site first is you don't know if the site was trusted there are site that can give you small profit but many site are just scamming people who invested.

Yes it true, we cannot tell how much risk it is. It depends on the site you use some are scam and others are legit. My advice us find a reliable site and that's it when you find it, it will be less risk more profits. It's the site and people you invest in are risky, the coins are not especially bitcoins that rises its value from time to time.

As you can see happening right now there are already attempts to take control over the core protocol. Right now it's mostly from the inside, and lots of it is just noise and bluffing.
However one day there might be forces from the outside trying to split Bitcoin into several chains just too destroy or undermine it's unique characteristics and features.

While this could be true, it may not stand true for a long amount of time. Think about it when it comes to Bitcoin, it's not like we've always seen price rises. So depending on the time in which you bought in, it could HIGHLY risky. Though it doesn't really matter, the biggest problemwith Bitcoin is going to be the volatility every single day-- and I'm not one of the many people on here that think that this is all going to end up with a net positive. I personally think that it would be better for Bitcoin to hold at a certain price, though that's not something a lot of the traders and others that are in here for the money want to see.

I personally believe there is extremely small risk in investing into Bitcoin. The reason why is you will always own (as long as you manage your own private keys) the Bitcoin no matter what the USD value is, so it holding on the BTC while the prices recover. This has happened over and over again but the trend is always up.

It happened over and over again just because Bitcoin still has potential to grow up, when Bitcoin has no reason to grow, it will drop. If you keep invest in Bitcoin but do not care about USSD Price, you has no reason to continue to make invest in Bitcoin.
