Yes that is true. The more risk you take, the more profit you can get. MOreover, when you look inside bitcoin, it is way much more than just a money. It is the future of the world and more people are enjoy using it

Somehow we can predict it but not 100% through filling yourself with the updates regarding its developments and news since it usually reflects how users perceive Bitcoin. If somehow it comes to the point that people have lost its trust in Bitcoin and you as well then it is time for you to pull out your money and find another one that is to keep your profit and not loss much more. This is one of the ways to counter and making the risk low.

It's going to be insanely risky to be investing in something like this, think about it for a moment. Bitcoin is a volatile currency that in the last few days lost about 1/3 of it's value. This is when it went down from $3000 per btc to around $2000. If that doesn't show you the risk, I don't know what will BUT I DO HAVE MORE EXAMPLES! Bitcoin can simply be fucked over by an exchange randomly going bellyup out of nowhere, these are the ones that claim to be "hacked" and then run away with customers funds.

So, very risky and I'd be very cautious if you're going to be getitng into a BTC investment. Altcoins are even more risky, btw.

Bitcoin investment is not so risky.You just have to choose the legit bitcoin inveatment site .One of the legit that I kmow is the poloniex it is an online money trading that can make your bitcoin bigger and faster.

This is the only way to go. Still a big risk with the 1 of august in mind. I expect a lot of panic selling to come.

When discussing the risks, all forms of business must have risks such as loss risk and others but certainly have different stages in accordance with their respective business field. If anad assumes investments in bitcoin are at risk, so are investments in other fields such as gold and property, stocks and others.
This would have a similar consequence if it is not thorough in researching our investment object.

I don't feel so. Investment in bitcoin doesn't require much skills. You just have to put money in BTC and see magic of constant increase in fiat worth.
Bitcoin investment should be look from broader frame rather then daily fluctuation because overall trends say its just rising from last 3 years.

IMO only invest the amount you are willing to lose as BTC has proven to be a very risky and volatile investment, particularly if you have no intention in holding for a very long period of time,
Just yesterday, the price fell to around $2100 which means $900 loss per BTC if you bought at the highest peak, but it recovered today, that alone shows how volatile it is as an investment.

Right now the bitcoin users are very strong in bitcoin and they are taking every dump as an opurtunity to buy in low and that you can see in latest dump when the market started to dump but still the users bought and today price back 50% up. So i dont think that investing in bitcoin is bad choice and about risk their will always be risky in any investment because no one can give you 100% unrisky investment option.

The values are always fluctuating so if some one goes for short term investment they may end up in loss
But those with right  trading skills an Technics can make profits
They evaluate the fluctuating graph carefully and then buy at the right moment to make profit , while the one who buys btc on the higher mark ends up in a loss ,we can just make Bitcoin investment safe by using trading skills but certainly it has some risk

if there is greater chance of profit then there is greater chance of lossess. as simple as that.

imho, invest only that much amount, which you wont mind if you lost it. and hope for the best.

but bitcoin will go up , way more up than 10k.

I agree, I was afraid it will never fall from that $2,800. Not that I can afford to buy a lot, but I'm going to buy at least $50 worth of BTC if it will go again under $2,300 because I think in that case it will be a zero risk investment.

Bitcoin is a high risk investment, please always keep that in mind and don't forget that the price can fall %50 in a week and if you sold at that time, sustaining big losses. Like all high risk businesses, invest only the amount of money that you can accept losing.

Bitcoin should be dealt like how you deal with equity. It should be a long term investment. Doing this lessens the risk you are taking while invested in it. Bitcoin becomes very risky if  you try to catch all the surges of prices and try to profit from them all. But if you hold for a longer time, the crash will recover and put you on green. And also, you do not risk dumping on lows or buying on tops.

So how you can see at the time you were thinking of investing 2 months ago the bitcoin price grew until now 2.4 times , so in 2 months you could've at least double your investment , but at the same tame the price could've went down .
My personal oppinion  , just invest in some alt coins which you consider that they have potential , that are worth much less , so you can make a much smaller investment and possibly make much more profit than you could make on bitcoins.  For example a coin that now is worth 10 $ in a few months it can be worth 100 $ , so your profit will be X10 , which with bitcoin I doubt that it's value will rise 10 times considering now it's 2.400 $.
So read a little , study the market and after decide which option is better.
There's always a risk in any investment , otherwise I suppose all of us would've been rich by now , so just invest what amount you are willing to lose , and look forward to what you can earn.

Sometimes people like you needs to undergo losses before realizing something. We all started from a newbie but in any case, we know the obvious thing or not. In your case, you manage to lose 10,000 (I don't know what is the currency) for investing in a ponzi scheme. Lazy people really wants an instant profit without doing. Good thing you already learned your lesson.

And no, investment is not always investing in a ponzi scheme. There are investment that is meant for business and in this case you have to trust yourself that eventually that will be grow in the future and will give you a nice income.

But compared to altcoins bitcoin is a lot more stable, the price of altcoins can change dramatically in a matter of hours I have seen coins with an increase in value of 700% in less than 24 hours, it is very obvious that a coin like that is going to be dumped at some point in time, probably in the very next day, bitcoin at least no longer moves like that.
